Simmons boy 2 wickets!

I having a bad feeling again.
Nah, stay positive.

dread, I feel you nervous fuh plenty ah we  ;D
I dont know why I feel so but I think it's because I took note of all the nasty posts about Trinis and our cricketers by other Caribbean posters, seems like they hate us too much, just to rub salt into their wounded jealousy I would like us to qualify but it looks impossible unless we win

I could never understand how bad mind these other islands are especially since Trinbagonians for the most part throw their support behind other Caribbean countries when they are successful. Their badmind negativity  not messing with my aura.  I Waving my flag high and representing!  :wavetowel:
Let's go Redforce!

Plain and simple if we lose this from this position, we do not deserve to be in the semifinals... Ramdin brings on his trump card Narine early.

Correct. Everybody need to bowl good from now on.

Simmons doing just that....pick up 2 wickets last over!
Come on Narine!

We hadda suspend our belief the storm created so much confusion how he got away clean with Deb. It was too much though.
Harry would have been a great touch on the boat but remember last episode he said his goodbye.

Enough crazy people in Canada for him to deal with if he get that itch...lol
but yeah he doesn't have the itch anymore. That's why he let Saxon go.

Doakes was a bad ass.

SPOILER ALERT

Phenomenal episode. Phenomenal ending to the episode.
Some people apparently didn't like the way it went down however, I enjoyed the episode

I wish Dexter did kill himself although I guess he did by killing the life he lived instead of turning into Wolverine...lol
Poor Harrison, but looks like Hannah will take care of him.
Dexter's last kill being Deb before killing the "Dexter Morgan persona."
Usually throws bodies in the ocean wrapped in black.  Deb was wrapped in white.
A few nice touches.

Producers give a good insight to the way it went down.  Good read

Congrats to the girl.  She born in the US, father emigrated 30 years ago and established himself as a gynecologist.  Despite this, pretty sad racist people vex. Media having a field day with this story

SPOILER ALERT

Where the Dexter fans?

1 episode left in one of the better series in recent years.
I find this season disappointing, expected a bigger final season with more twists.  Last night's episode was a little better.  I was never a fan of Deb and thought she would end up dying but when I saw it go down I felt bad for her.  She may yet survive though.
I feel Hannah will get killed.

dais not fear.who decide where these franchise players and other goes? is it de league? teams?
Another ting take de national name out ah dem teams, let it be like everywhere else some city or other name.

Well hear the thing, these players were selected before the tournament start, what i find odd is that they never said how the franchise player were selected for the teams.

While the draft was "fair" two teams get to choose players first more than the other teams (Guyana and Barbados), (Coincidence or random?)

Limacol title sponser - Guyanese company > Narine , Ramdin , Simmons, Perkins
Mr Khan is the main funder - Bajan > Pollard, Emritt , Gabriel

Those two teams take all the Trinis except Rampaul who went Jamaica (Coincidence?) Add on the other big international players and you see how strong they are.

Dem two countries especially like to tief all things Trinbagonian and brand it as their own.  Ain't nuttin new. It vexes me how TnT allows it to continue to happen.

101
rest of the region must be happy.  We in last place. Not right to see TnT in last place for t20.

Bravo real fck up.

Teams that no self-respecting Trinbagonian can bring themself to support regardless of how good they play football:-

USA
Mexico
Haiti
Jamaica
England

If I left out any other generally hated teams by Trinbagonians then please declare them in this thread.
Thanks!   :yellowcard:

 :rotfl:
Not a fan of any of the countries mentioned above. I could watch Mexico though.  They always sh*t on themselves come the WC anyway.

My top 3 I can't stand; in no particular order:
US (1989 and their arrogance how they get on like they are a big team)
Jamaica (arrogant)
Italy (Balo good though, but the rest is a bunch of whining divers; also arrogant)

Meh padnah and I both had a pair of white batas.
We take black markers and colour the adidas 3 stripes on.  :D

After that it was a mitre.  I remember when I was 10 the first time walking in the school hall floors getting ready to head to the field for a match and all the students in the classes turning and looking at us hearing the "click clacks"
We felt like heroes

106
KJ...
Kenwyne finally show up as the player we all expected.  After this tourney, there is no doubt he's a first choice striker in any league worldwide.  He was calm and delivered when needed.  In tough times, you never saw any frustration in his face, he kept at it.

When I think of most valuable player, I think of "if this person was not on the team, would the team perform just as well?"  While JMW deserve honorouble mention for his saves and leadership in the back line, this was a KJ coming out party as the deserved marquee player for TnT.

Honourable mentions: JMW, Cyrus, Glen (you can't dislike this fella boy, his work rate is second to none)

Good job TnT, you make us proud.

Knicks send Camby, Novak, Quentin Richardson and a 2016 first-round pick to Toronto for Andrea Bargnani.  As one-dimensional as Novak was I'm not happy to see him go... that and Bargnani being a bust so far.  A seven-foot jumpshooter hardly helps us with rebounding... but I suppose it will pull the likes of Roy Hibbert out the paint.

http://www.nytimes.com/2013/07/02/sports/basketball/knicks-swap-novak-camby-for-bargnani.html
What !!
Andrea might trive in an Italian vibrant city like NY .If he ever puts it all together Knicks win .big if
*steuups* thrive...de only ting he go thrive at is ketchin flies when he mout always open

he is to de raptors what 'big country' reeves was to vancouver...a giant money bust
Not his fault man ,Colangelo was stupid to pick a European with the number one .Not sure anymore who we shoulda pick ,but not him.
1    TOR    Andrea Bargnani    Italy
2    CHI    LaMarcus Aldridge    Texas
3    CHA    Adam Morrison    Gonzaga
4    POR    Tyrus Thomas    Louisiana State
5    ATL    Shelden Williams    Duke
6    MIN    Brandon Roy    Washington
7    BOS    Randy Foye    Villanova
8    HOU    Rudy Gay    Connecticut
9    GSW    Patrick O'Bryant    Bradley
10    SEA    Mouhamed Sene    Senegal
11    ORL    J.J. Redick    Duke

Should have gone LaMarcus but then who would have guessed, team dynamics, etc play other factors.
I would have never gone Euro first though personally

Spaghetti Sauce will flourish in NY.  Watch and see....

1. De man don't like pressure as the go to guy but still averaged around 15 ppg. He can score.
2. If Carmelo kick de ball out to him, NY will add to an already good offense.
3. ex Raps who have a bad relationship at trade usually have a good career...VC, Tmac, Camby, Bosh
4. Glen Grunwald still have hard feelings...will do his best to have Spaghetti sauce fit in to show Raps up for firing him

http://www.nba.com/2013/news/06/27/celtics-trade-garnett-pierce-to-nets/index.html

Celtics rebuild, trade Garnett and Pierce to Nets

The Boston Celtics on Thursday completed the detonation of the team that won the 2008 NBA title, agreeing to send Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce, along with guard Jason Terry, to the Brooklyn Nets for a collection of players and Draft picks, according to league sources.
Brooklyn will send forwards Kris Humphries and Gerald Wallace, along with guard Keith Bogans, along with first-round picks in 2014, 2016 and 2018, to Boston in exchange for the three veteran players. The Celtics made no secret of the fact that if Doc Rivers left, they would accelerate their rebuilding process, and try to deal their veteran core as soon as possible.

The deal could only be completed after Garnett agreed to waive his no-trade clause, which allowed him to veto any potential deal. He was likely to waive the no-trade clause if the NBA had allowed him to go, along with Pierce, to the Clippers along with Rivers. But the league said that the Clippers and Celtics could not combine a trade of Rivers along with players.
The Nets, who hired Jason Kidd as head coach earlier this month, are putting all their chips in for the next season or two. The 37-year-old Garnett and the 35-year-old Pierce will certainly start for Brooklyn next season, with the 35-year-old Terry likely to come off the bench as the team's sixth man. They will join holdovers Deron Williams, Joe Johnson and center Brook Lopez as the Nets try to win now for well-heeled but demanding owner Mikhail Prokhorov, who promised a Finals team within five years of taking over control of the franchise.

Spurs made an illegal substitution after Allen hit the three and the refs were reviewing it.
That would be a technical foul, free throws and possession, game would have probably ended in regular time.

On to tonight...Heat will take it, Spurs threw away the championship.

I still vex at Popovich's decisions. Benching Duncan.  Especially in the final play of the 4th.  Bosh get that rebound too easy to kick it out to Ray Ray

What a roller-coaster! That was almost too much drama.
I thought Miami was done.  How de hell Parker go score a three, steal, and score a two almost at the end of reg? That man is a beast! That man almost depress the whole of South Florida all by himself.

So many highlights.
Duncan's first half abuse of Bosh was painful to watch.
Leonard finished impressively around the rim when called upon.
The shoeless three and #headbandontootight.
Lebron turn demon in the 4th quarter only to fog up mightily with not one but two utterly ridiculous turnovers!
I know de man shaky sometimes but that was next-level jitters!
Lebron wanted to cry, but like a real man, he put up a three-pt attempt, missed and still had the balls to attempt the second one!  Real men woulda shy away from that.

Bosh came up big.
Ray Allen hit nothing but net on that shot.

I feel for the spurs though, that loss was a punch in the gut.
Best finals I've seen in a long time.

Manu with 9 points and 8 turnovers  :o

This right here.  I don't think he woulda ever shy away from taking the second three... but to hit nothing but net says a lot about his confidence and resolve.  I blame him for the turnovers, and for being too indecisive when they back away from him in the paint on the whole.  But Bosh have some blame to collect on that pass as well... mighta been too high, but he wasn't even looking for it.  Small blame on him... mostly on LeBron.

this is why I say Lebron lacking that certain je ne sais quoi to make him great.
Lebron score like mad when Duncan and co were on the bench, as soon as they come back he start playing he same way.
At times he looks like he's playing hot potato when he gets the ball.

if it wasn't for Ray Allen, this talk wouldn't be here

All credit should go to Miami for this victory...But did the Spurs choke? For a well coached veteran team in this situation, there were numerous missteps by both the coach and players in critical moments of the game.

I question Popovich's decisions...how you gonna have duncan and parker on the bench for the first few minutes of the 4th.  Yeah duncan was a little tired after the 3rd but come on!
Parker wake up too late.
Ginobili play de a$$ all game.  A better line up when the Heat had their most productive 5 on the court would have been parker, diaw, green, leonard, duncan.
Green couldn't handle the pressure, but no one expected him to.  What I didn't get was despite his good defensive game, he was trying too hard offensively.  He has one job, get open and hit that shot.  He don't need to be making his own shot.

Lebron is a good player, but not great.  D Wade's team.
