Well thank God meh boy Sancho come back and taking that position. Interesting though with Lawrence out, we will have to play Sancho, A. John, Andrews and WHO, I hope it is Atiba Charles and NOT slow poke Gray especially since the Guatemalans are quicker than us, like every other team we have played this year.

I agree with Mr. Mc we have to try to qualify for the 3rd position BEFORE we play Mexico. Realistically a draw with Mexico at home would be good for us!!! We have to beat Guatemala and then look to at least draw with CR (any more losses would be unacceptable though very difficult to not lose) then we must aim to BEAT Panama after. We should aim to beat CR as well, but if they come out strong as they can a tie will be livable. More realistically if we beat Panama then we free, but even then a tie there may be a lifeline as well.

We can realistically be looking/praying for a WIN against Guatemala and 3 draws/ties!! That would give us 10 points and hopefully at least a 4th spot. A win against Mexico may determine us coming 3rd or 4th. Against CR and Panama we are realistically looking at draws, once we don't LOSE. Any win against them is a real bonus. We must NOT be looking forward to the Mexico match we must at least be at 4th position when we play them and realistically a draw against Mex. may keep us 4th. whereas a WIN may put us in 3rd. That is REALISTIC. Of COURSE I want us to beat Mexico and CR and Panama etc. apart from Guatemala but we have to be realistic. We can't think about Mexico, we must be at 9 or 10 points BEFORE we play Mexico!!!

Russell Latapy to rejoin T&T team.
By: Shaun Fuentes.
[/size]

Trinidad and Tobago’s Scottish-based midfielder and former national football captain Russell Latapy has decided to make a return to international duty following a special late plea from Special Advisor to the TTFF Jack Warner and Team Captain Dwight Yorke.
The decision by the “Little Magician” came on Monday morning after Warner spoke to the Falkirk player/coach via mobile and requested, for a final time, his services to the “Warriors” who are now in a must win situation in their next 2006 World Cup qualifier against Guatemala at the Hasely Crawford Stadium on September 3.
In the first instance, the 37-year-old Latapy has agreed to make himself available to the team for the match against Guatemala and the clash away to Costa Rica on September 7. Latapy’s local business handler Wayne Mandeville also said that Latapy met with Falkirk manager John Hughes on Monday morning shortly after speaking to Warner, to reveal his plans to rejoin the T&T camp.
“This has come about after several long thoughts and sleepless nights following the match against the United States,” Warner told TTFF Media. “A big part of it also has to do with Dwight telling me that he has spent so much time thinking it over and he believes that Russell needs to be back in the team. It is also a special plea from me to Russell to come back and play for the country and he has agreed to do this for the next two games in the first instance and we are thrilled about this latest development,” Warner added shortly before jetting off to Peru on FIFA business. He added that he will also be in touch with Latapy from there.
Latapy in an immediate response, said he was willing to make a contribution with the country’s interest at heart, particularly on the requests of Yorke and Warner.
“The situation is one where Dwight spoke to Warner and he spoke to me and a decision was then agreed upon. Warner made it clear that they would like me to contribute and for the cause at the moment, for Dwight, for Jack Warner and the country, I am willing to do whatever I can,” Latapy told TTFF Media.
“Everyone knows my situation with the coaching and my demands at Falkirk now and that is where my bread and butter is coming from so it’s obviously not going to be easy.  The coaching market is a hard one now at the moment and it’s not something that I can just run away from. There are a lot of things to consider with the club as well. But as I said the reality is that I would love to come back and do whatever I can for the country at this time,” Latapy said.
Previously during the “Journey to Germany” campaign, attempts had been made to get Latapy back in the set up but the former FC Porto man had explained that he commitments to Falkirk, particularly his new direction into coaching, would make it difficult to take up duties with T&T, especially as he preferred to contribute as an assistant coach as well.
But his change of heart is an obvious boost for the “Warriors” for the remainder of the campaign. Latapy last appeared for T&T in a 2002 World Cup Qualifier against the United States in June of 2001 before announcing his retirement from international football along with Yorke.
So far this season Latapy has earned plaudits for his performances for Falkirk in the Scottish Premier League, appearing in their four League matches so far.
Former teammate and assistant coach David Nakhid as well feels Latapy’s addition will bolster the T&T outfit. “This is great news especially considering the circumstances. It will give the team just the right boost that it needs at this time,” Nakhid said from Lebanon.
Young midfielder Silvio Spann, fresh from a creditable showing against the Americans, was also ecstatic on hearing of Latapy’s return.
“For a moment I still can’t believe it,” Spann said from Yokohama. “It’s delightful news for us because I for one have been longing for a chance to play with the skipper and I think the team will certainly welcome his return at this time. It’s a crucial period for us and to have him back will be a plus for us.”

« on: August 22, 2005, 09:00:37 AM »
I agree whole-heartedly with your comments Touches. All Beenie's subs were good. I must applaud him for that, and yes when I saw John getting subbed I had to pinch myself to make sure I was not dreaming, Jones is pure class. Ok Beenie you for sure know what you have to do and who have to start on September 3rd, but after ALL of this it is the PLAYERS who have to PLAY like they want it more. Hard luck again to Lawrence, but he had to make that tackle after some boomsie played back the ball real dotish to Jack, I dunno why on earth they was playing back the ball to Jack most times eh. Sometimes conceeding a throw would have been less dangerous.

"I worked hard but it wasn't enough and even if it for the benefit for the team. It's now about Stern John anymore, it's about the team and the country and getting to the World Cup. I was disappointed about the performance when I went off."

If only Tootsie John had realised this and he was not bribing Beener about 3 matches ago, we may have been in a better position. Well I pray that it is not too late for us. I know it is not too late to NOT start John against Guatemala, and only bring him on later on not at all if not needed. Feeling sorry for Sealy, hopefully he will get better support. Once again I must big up Kenwyne Jones for his game, he always seems to make something happen up front. Poor thing when he played it looked like Kelvin Jack was his main supporter since he did not get much support and good passes (as usual) but boy that boy could run, that run he made on the left wing and cut across before falling was the best striker run and good looking attack we had in that game.

J.

429
Â     Yeah, start with Sealy and Yorke and even Jones too if playing 4-3-3. If Jones or Sealy REALLY pulling stones only THEN bring in fridge. If Stern was to start after 30 mins if he number 2-ing dong he self, sub him ONE TIME!!! Keeping John on for more than 1 half with him falling dong and causing minor earthquakes not benefitting anyone UNLESS he score AT LEAST 1 goal!

Football / Re: ah wish cyd gray start and score
« on: August 12, 2005, 09:27:04 AM »
that is fine ONCE Atiba Charles or Sancho STARTS after that if they do badly THEN Gray can be allowed to come on. Stern John time for YOU to score. John will be playing no matter what so it is John I go have to do prayers for but I will be highly sceptical of Beeners antics if Gray starts. Maybe they have been working on his "going on all fours" defensive tactics and have improved on it. Maybe Cyd misinterpreted Marvin Andrew's nickname, "Dog" and thought to emulate a dog would make him a good defender. Of course he was wrong, and Beener will be should he start Gray on Aug. 17th.

Jason.

431
Prayerfully (not hopefully) Gray will not play, I go feel real mad and hurt for Charles and Sancho if neither play. Glad to see Sealy but I feeling real bad for Glenn. I agree that Jones is good to stay up front but one wonders why Jones did not play much in the Gold Cup. I guess he was trying to see more of Scotland (who not in the team this time) and his friend contract with Shitsu John made it impossible for him to ever come off. I guess Yorke is the captain, hopefully or Andrews!! Never John again, time for John to SCORE goals!!

Good luck and well deserved to Scott Sealy though!! :o)

Football / An opportunity for him!!
« on: August 04, 2005, 12:15:06 PM »
Scotland MUST see this as an opportunity for him to rise, and the only way is by playing well for T&T and help them reach to Germany next year. If he was to get his true form back he would be an asset and a hidden blessing for the T&T team since we lack strikers who get picked (Jones and Glenn unpickable in BullHakkers mind). If he was to perform well and hopefully score a goal or 2 for T&T his fortunes will improve. If he can play well against the US (if he plays) and Guatemala, I am almost CERTAIN that he will be called up by another foreign, and hopefully better club. All these players MUST realise that if they were to get T&T to the World Cup they will ALL automatically get more money and better clubs and much better exposure. I am sorry for Scottie but it seems that he only playing with T&T and training with them to "get his mind away" from Scotland. He better look forward to playing in T'dad and helping them because that can always benefit HIM. He need to be truer to T&T and then all things will come good. If he needs to play temporarily with a PFL team too, he should do it.

Doh cry over spilt milk Jason, PROVE yourself with the T&T team NOW we need you!!

We need a great striker and midfield hence Henry and Zidane, our defense seems the least worrying thus far. Would not go with both Zidane and Ronaldinho because they would eventually have to pass the ball to Slump John and that would cancel all their good work, however maybe if one of them were to play attacker then John could be their water boy and this would work. I take it that it is this reasoning that the forumites used in voting.

Wow like West Ham is a mirror image of our national team. He was recalled their to "push" their keeper. Well Shaka has very good experience in that since he "pushed" Kelvin Jack all the way through the Gold Cup. Hopefully he will play for West Ham as well as T&T if the keepers are not performing.

Football / Re: What an insult!
« on: July 29, 2005, 01:08:34 PM »
Â  Remember we SHOULD be going out there to win and if we draw in the process fine, but we should at least play well. The 2-1 loss to them on Ash Wednesday we did not play bad, apart from the long balls and shitty give away first goal, we matched and even outnumbered them in shots on goal and Keller saved quite well. The US has NEVER really blown us out, not like CR and Mexico so with that a tie for me is fine but a win CAN be achieved if we doh do nothing stupid and if someone (anyone maybe even Kelvin Jack or Shaka) can actually SCORE A GOAL or GOALS, we will get opportunities but we MUST put them away, Shitsu John had gotten a great chance in the second half against them in the Oval but kick over bar (or was it Jones?). Point is it is POSSIBLE, once we doh CONCEDE any dotish goal.

Realistically using all the stats a tie is a big thing for us but we MUST play for the win.

This is the most important reason we should get a win: Not only will we have a greater chance to make it to the WC and boost our motivation to finally beat Guatemala at home, BUT the US will theoretically STILL not qualified. If Mexico and US wins their next games, they are 99% or more already in the WC BUT if we BEAT the US, they may panic a little (although they will inevitably make it in the WC - I wish not though) and this will cause them to seriously fight and MASH up the other teams in the remaining games. In this regard the US will look to win all the other games if we beat them, and if they aim to do so and succeed to beat at least 2 out of the remaining 4 teams they play WE WILL benefit since the US winning will help us on points by keeping all the other teams mainly CR, Panama and Guatemala down!! That will help us.

Remember we don't only have to win and draw games we have to HOPE that everytime CR, Guat. and Panama play they all DRAW eaach other and only get 1 point so when we win or draw our other games we stay ABOVE them, it is a points thing doh ever forget that!!! And we have to hope that Mexico keep on mash up everyone but us in our last game... I scared at that last game against Mexico because everyone assuming that if we need at least 1 point to qualify or even come 4th. we have a good chance, but NEVER think like that against Mexico they never give in, unless Jack bribe them or something. Hope when we play Mexico is not like when we had to play USA in 1989 for that faithful 1 point. That become 1 point too much.

Long story short, beat USA and we not only get 3 points and confidence against Guat. and other teams, but the USA get mad and go after all other teams which will be to our point advantage!!

Draw with USA, we keep our sanity and show fighting spirit and prayerfully beat Guat. and we in the game still. The US may still get upset and look to mash up remaining teams thus benefitting us.

Lose to USA, we need another bush bath especially if we lose looking dotish, then all man have to play Guatemala with panic and hope and prayer and all ah we go be anxious (as usual) in the Stadium. ALSO important, the US would have 99.999% qualified for WC and may look to experiment in other games and give Panama and CR and Guat. to maybe pull an upset draw or win against them thus FURTHER haunting us via the points system.

Go my Warriors I love you all forever good luck in the win, just play for it and we'll see what God has in store for you...

On Ash Wednesday after our loss I help my head up high because the last 20 mins of the game we played like through Warriors the best I have ever seen in many years, IF we can play to that potential and keep up the solid defense then we will show them.

Jason.

Of course Sealy can be a plus but again the problem is the mafia going on with John and Beenie. When John start getting sub and Beenie start opening up he eyes, only then Scott may be considered.

Sad but true, is not playing in form working with this coach, I doh know how some people doh get sub on the team much less not start. Cyd Gray and Stern better up their game or get dropped or else I will be keeping Beenie on meh no. 1 dotish coach list. He has improved the defensive midfield and defence (Charles not Gray of course) but our forwards have failed. Remember Andrews, Lawrence have had more chances and scored than any other forwards (not counting clumsy man) don't you think that is funny? And Birchall thank God he take a shot and scored. Or forwards need help they eh functioning. Thank God Yorke coming back yes.

Blind man Beenie can't even see Shit John not playing well and doh even want to sub him. Glenn and Jones, who in my opinion has not done any wrong recently does get corbeaux sweat and sometimes they doh get any sweat at all, them 2 is quality fella for T'dad right now. And after all that men bawling Noray?? The sad thing is even if Noray playing that good and on form, if he was to be selected in the team, he MAY NEVER EVEN ACTUALLY PLAY!! Remember the whole point for him to be on T&T team is to actually PLAY in real games, on the field!! If Jones and Glenn not even getting to actually PLAY you think Noray will by pass them and just get games just so!!?!?!? I doubt it, EVEN if he were to impress in training, since this coach kinda cookoo. If John and Cyd Gray playing plenty and Charles and Glenn and to a lesser extent Jones not getting much run, I fear that Noray being SELECTED on the team may mean NOTHING, probably water boy or something. I do not agree with the coach Glenn and Jones must sweat together in a game for some time at least providing John plays like himself (doing nothing) if they miraculously get to play along with Atiba Charles (I feel real sorry for him after he played very good against Panama and Mexico) only then Noray will ever be considered. But from the Gold Cup, we see that the coach eh know what he even doing since John bribing him to play, so I fear Noray may be overlooked...

That is great to know. Wish Stern and Cyd could have somehow been ineligible to play against the US. Sigh.

Ironically though John may have a better game against the US since they are not a Latin American team. We should definitely have Atiba back yes. Glen must start this game though!! Remember when Glen came on and terrorised them when we lost our first game 2-1!! I hope Beenie know this, Glen has to go as a striker with Yorke just behind helping out, and if Shitsy does himself then Jones should go on right away for him.

Football / Re: Beenie Man did NOT Experiment!!
« on: July 13, 2005, 11:26:22 AM »
All he had to do was NOT START STERN in at least 1 of those games!!! That is ALL!!! If Jones, or Glenn started and were not effective and Stern came back on and kept his place at LEAST we could have a reason for John due to the other shitbility, but instead it was Stern's shithoungness that KEPT him on the team!?!? I don't understand. Same with Gray?!?!? Atiba Charles did an EXCELLENT job against Panama and Mexico but get throw out in the tournament. Boy this coach bigging up the assholes on the team and de-motivating our best hopes!! I pray he changes yes!!! Seeing John and Gray toting water would have been the BEST experiments for Beenie but NO, so we got the results by having one water boy be striker - did nothing, and another defend, conceded or helped in conceding about 3 goals in the tournament. So basically these 2 players (who I hope WERE the experiments to never play or start again) actually gave T&T a -3 goal position in the tournament. Great experiment Leoni, time for the REAL players on Aug. 17th!!

448
I am not jumping off the bandwagon never!! But what really hurt me and us is that after the first game against Panama WE ALL knew that T&T had improved in some aspects since Beenie came however Stern and Cyd should not start the remaining games, definitely Cyd not starting and Stern at least coming off to let Glenn and Jones show what they can do (apparently they can do much MORE than the shithoung Ricketty Goat Post). THAT NEVER HAPPENED AND WE SUFFERED THE RELEVANT RESULTS. If I had knew that after the Panama game, John and Gray would apparently become AN UNSUBSTITUTABLE FIXTURE ON THE TEAM BASED ON BEING THE MOST INEFFECTIVE PLAYERS ON THE TEAM then I would know to EXPECT the results but silly me thought that it was the coach's job to rate men on their last game and improve the overall team by giving them less time on the pitch. HOWEVER apparently we forumites were all wrong.

YOU SEE WE THOUGHT THAT WE WOULD BE CORRECT BASING THE TEAM ON THE BEST PLAYERS WHO PLAYED THE PANAMA GAME BUT WE WERE ALL WRONG, and the results we got against Honduras and Colombia were the correct ones using the team that played them. Especially the Colombia game keeping on the 2 assholes and then trying to put in the better players out of position in make believe positions. I hope Buller Beenie doh friggin diss Glenn since he was not in his position, and I hope Jones start bribing him like John yes.

Football / Jones and Glenn have my utmost sympathy!

I must say that I did NOT see the game yesterday since TV 6 did not bring it live at 5pm. Check this comment by Beenhakker:

“You know how it is. Everybody is going back to their clubs now and I have to get them back five days before the USA game. That’s all there is to it. Hopefully everyone will be in good shape and then we regroup to get ready. We already said this week that our power up front is with three players, Stern John, Dwight Yorke and Carlos Edwards. Two of them were not able to play in this tournament. Hopefully they will be with us next month and the only thing I can do now is to look at the few local players before the last week before the game, ” Beenhakker added.

I respect Beenie etc. but I feel very very sorry for Jones and Glenn after this comment. I don't know if Stern paying Beenie money or something yes I really eh know!!!!! The man in the above comment shows that HE MAY ALWAYS play Shitty Boo boo John all the time yes. I really really don't comprehend. When Beenie took over the first game was against Alianza Peru right? Ok and Yorke and Jones had a great game at least in the first half. So that is a plus for Jones. Then against Bermuda in the 4-0 and 2-0 games John had about 15 chances overall and scored 1 goal I think!! So that should go AGAINST John. Against Panama John continued is LOW shit form and missed a shot, he later scored. However he scored because of the great work of YORKE not himself. I think that Jones or Glenn in that position would have scored anyway. In the second half John continued doing nothing until he passed the ball to Lawrence one of the few times that John was NOT offside!! Jones came on for John (the best sub. Beenie has made since coming in as the coach only because that was the ONLY time Shit John had ever been subbed). However Jones missed a clear chance and blasted it wide, when all he had to do was follow Lawrence's placement goal earlier.

Against Mexico John continued his crap but stayed on, and this continued up to yesterday, that was 3 games in a row of more shit!!!
Glenn was supposed to play in place of JOHN yesterday NOT as a winger!!! Jones could have probably been the winger subbing with Eve with Glenn REPLACING John. Jones did not even get to come on yesterday because guess who would have to come off??? yes blasted Beenie's new wife - Sterniful JohN!!!!

Why does Beenie not believe in ever at least subbing John, he makes sacrificial lambs of others who are playing their role better than John. Our wingers and other forwards down to Scotland still playing better than John.

I am in shock over Beenie's inability to EVER sub Stern, I glad Yorke coming back and hopefully he go at least be Captain or give it to Marvin yes!!

Someone please do some forensic investigations over Beenie and John's relationship!! How on earth could John have been made captain!!?!?!?!?!? Against the USA let us see if John is still captain and if he starts etc. Also if Gray is going to be playing.

If John starts against the US or is Captain and is NOT subbed unless he performs a miracle, and if Gray somehow plays, then we are looking to lose that game and not even draw it.

By that time a win against Guatemala will be a do or die as it is now regardless of the result against the US. But if we keep these shithounds in the team when they do not warrant a place against the US. It may be too late to improve 2 weeks after against the Guatemalans and anything other than a WIN WILL knock us out.

Too late too late shall be the cry!!!! Make the changes against the US or perish!!!
