I actually wrote back a set of insults, but that would continue the back and forth for no reason, so i deleted it. I will just say this, its a public forum , so anything you write on can be seen and commented on by anyone else. There is no PRIVATE conversation between you and elan , dude. I  dont like your insulting cussing style and i was entitled to let you know that . But boss I done with this nonsense , you could continue cussing me  and consider it a victory for your ego if you want. But for me this done.

Aint nobody crying down the fact that the man score 69 goals for the country..I applaud the man for his contribution to our football   ...But dat doh mean that he should be an auto pick for the starting team....as they "what has he done lately"...and the answer is very little  

1. He scored the goal against Bermuda that still allowed us to be a part of this HEX .
2. He actually playing much better than Jones. Jones like he have the first touch of a rapist, ball bouncing all over the bloodyplace. John trying to hold up the play , link with Carlos etc etc . The man looking like a much different player.
3. He doh even have to look like a different player. i say frustrate everybody and still score goals and thats what the man does.

Stern deserve a pick .Why you dont single out a man like densil theobald who does play nonsense every time?

I beleive that Whitley still has something to offer in the middle of the park. Form is temporary , class is permanent and I would rather see him as the midfield general for the next four years, as Dwight goes into retirement , than Densill Theobald.
Stern has done a great deal for Trinidad in truth . He seems to be willing to do more than play in and around the box , as far as i can see from the last two games. Stern used to be always grumpy cos he wasnt getting quality service , but maybe now he realises aside from Carlos we doh really have any creative midfielder who could support him for a whole game. So it seems he trying harder.
Stern was alwyas a frustrating man to watch play but give Jack he jacket , the man scores when it MATTERS. With ten minutes to play and one nil down i still rather have Stern on the field than Kenwyne!

Trinidad football is a victim of the quality of the overseas leagues and the ready viewing avaliability of these leages. In short no one want to come out to see football that they percieve to be inferior to what they see on television. (Notice I said percieve). This means small gates receipts and even less resources available to upgrade the standard of football.
The Pro League I beleive is marketed improperly. There is a tenuous link between the clubs and their communities. I beleive these links should made stronger..Visit schools in their area, go on walk abouts , have a car wash , do something to raise the profile of the clubs affiliation with San Juan , Marabella , Tobago to name a few.
Everybody like to bash Jack  but everytime the man withdraws his support it leaves a vaccum that no other stakeholder , be it government , private institutions wants to fill . And make no mistake , He who pays the piper will ALWAYS call the tune.

Aye Maryland I now come back from washing my car with a red towel that has "fly emirates" on it. I beleive its the same towel you wear as a jersey on a Sunday/Saturday  but i putting it to better use.

I understand where you coming from but that (english) approach is wrong. Players develop their primarily skills through the years 11 to 14 generally, so we need to encourage the flair and dribbling then. It's at this level (u-17) where they need to learn to now apply those tricks in a tactical manner.

You misunderstand my point. i am not saying that the English way of doing things is totally right . It is true that they stifle creativity too much. i am saying that they get their culture , their playing style inbred into these kids at an early age . If we want to change things we have to do that , develop a style of playing that we as Trini's desire , both attack AND defense oriented and develop players with that in mind. We have a playing culture by default and thats what needs to be changed . The english method of getting to the youngsters early is what i admire  not necessarily what they are teaching them.

Dread we need a technical director to change our footballing culture from the bottom up . Imagine these guys are the stars of our intercol? Just from the highlights i see men not picking up on mexicans making runs into the area.. Our footballing culture is gallerying and showing off from an individual perspective. I sure Shahadon Winchester shake some mexicans and had them in a twist at some point. But that dosent matter  in the rest of the world , why , because no end result !!!
In England they wring the creativity out of youngsters , making them focus on passing , running and being physical to a fault .That is the negative aspect , but the postive is that there is an English style of play that England is known for whether good or bad. And they dont get beat 7-0 .
We need to apply that to our 9 , 10 , 11 year old youngsters in a positive way. Slow down on the individual tricks etc just a bit and learn to play as a team .

Aside from the Trinidad vs england game at the World Cup , I am yet to see Densil Theobald have another good game for Trinidad. He is absolutely woeful on defence , I am tired of seeing him JOG behind the attacker without attempting to actually gain possession. How does he even get a pick for Trinidad ? Going forward , he is slightly better , but still cannot cut it as a passer of the ball or shooter. And he keeps showing up in the team sheet!
Maybe Trinidad football players need to develop CEREBRALLY , because they make the same mistakes over and over . For Gawd's sake , watch the overlapping wingback! Oh Gorm , when you pass the ball doh stand up run into space ! Provide options for the teammate on the ball !! And stop Ball watching !Is there no coach that can stop them from making these SILLY errors besides Beenhaaker? The problem with Trinidad football is that everyone sees themselves as an individual . Each player  thinks they can beat two defenders by themselves or expects their teammates to do the same. And vice versa for defense , right Keon Daniel?
Oh and bring back Avery John and let Aklie learn off spin or medium pace instead or something. Nuff said about Aklie , Geez !!
