Panama 3 v T&T 1 ..... 8)

I don't even expect TnT to even sniff the goal. Panama has improved since the last time we played them and with our given run against jamaica. It might be a baseball scoreline.

All i can say after reading Touches is that we are lucky we are not from Iraq. Or after the game the entire was being laid to rest. That's just completely utterly embarrasing and shameful.

I don't think he is dunce like bakes said nor limited athletically more like limited creativity wise. If you have noticed most American strikers usually play the same exact way and they all use the step over ::). i actually hate using that move now ....I think Altidore should have never went to Espana for Villareal it was a bad idea. He was not a complete striker and still isn't. If anything he should have went to Arsenal and become Polished under Wenger.

Was Arsenal interested in signing him...or should he have just gone there on his own will?

I can't recall will have to go back and check, though it doesn't really seem like he has made much progress.

The gap in quality between the two teams was enormous...and to think that only 4 of these guys were in the 23 for World Cup 2010....

Really??!!  Nah man the US is a World beating team.... ::) ::)

They can be if they get their hands on Klinnsman (sp)? I still think they stifling creative players or limiting them. They still on this factory mindset

Altidore is a dunce

Come nuh man... dat ah li'l harsh.

Dem man, him and Buddle just limited offensively, all they know is to kick it past the player and chase it down b/c that is what has worked for them all their lives.  I wouldn't impugn de man intelligence just because he limited athletically.

yeah me too Palos...I eh know where Fab fitting cause them two have him on the bench already for Spain.

But I not doubting Guardiola, he prove that he know what he doing.

All i could wager is that Xavi will fill the rold that Xabi Alonso plays for Spain, while Fabregas and Iniesta will play where Xavi and Iniesta currently play.

Or maybe Pep just want to keep Xavi on his toes since right now he irreplaceable.

(how a Balotelli thread turn into Fabregas and Aguero thread though?) ;D

nah i think its more of replacement for Iniesta because of the injuries that has hit him recently, so they don't have to run him  as hard i think. Xavi aint going any way, the guy is a machine

yea the first half was really awesome still can't believe that its only 1-0 though. Hoping the second half is more electrifying. Though watching some of these games i am wondering if at anytime in the next 5 years another team other than the ones from Mexico will represent Concacaf in the World Club Cup.

2010 World Cup - South Africa / Re: France vs Costa Rica
« on: May 26, 2010, 04:18:02 PM »
France got outplayed.. and dont have anyone to take corners LOL.. I love Estrada, not enough playing time and Centeno is class, always liked him alot to. CRC problem is they dont have anyone but Hernandez up front to count on.

France real real lucky to win this game.

I think they know that they were very fortunate to have won.

honestly who are France young global superstars?...I know they have good young players but who is the next Zidane or Henry ??..when I think of French stars my mind is still stuck on Henry, Viera, Anelka and them older heads (who are no longer in their prime)..

You are quite spot on with that statement though i think they are trying to play more collectively. Oh Btw what are you thoughts on Ribery

so none of alyuh feeling depressed watching all these international games knowing our country will be invisible this world cup season ?  :D

I rather we stay home and get our house in proper order than going out and cause further embarrassment. WE have the time to prepare so we will see how it all the preparation and training goes.

mexico may get that reply they are looking for if they keep pressuring. I am hoping Concaf may actually do well at this WC and surprise a few teams hopefully routing a good bit of them.

can you blame them. They want to get it right and get the mistakes out of the way instead of making them in the actual games. Jealous though, how come Trini can't get constant warm up matches like these....... :(

This squad missin some "OOMPH"

Other than Kaka & to a lesser extent Robinho....there is no creativity

I doh like dis squad but willin to eat my words if dey perform.

Without a doubt now, Spain will be the best footballing nation on the pitch at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.

Lets be brutally honest in 2006 we sat down with eager anticipation to see ronaldinho light up the WC with his creativity and sadly he never delivered. Experts say he actually had the opposite effect and made Brazil predictable.

True....he never lit it up then.

He lightin it up now for Milan tho.

U tellin me Kleberson, Julio Baptista, and Elano could hold a candle to Ronnie now?  Dem is better options?

System or no system....dat is dotishness.

If you as a coach cannot find a way to make a talent like Ronaldinho effective in your team....you're no coach.

Same as Messi with Argentina.

Just want to Interject If i may with all due respect. To make Ronaldinhio effective yes but the fact of the matter Dunga wants players big name or not to give their all and hustle if they loose the ball. And Ron does not always really work to get the ball back if he looses it and I think it was done also to humble Ronnie to let him know that he doesn't care he is still the coach and he has final selection on how makes it or not. Though in my humble opinion i think Dunga wants the national team to play effective football meaning that they adapt their playing style to the opposition, so lets wait till their first game before we start rolling heads about my team's national selection

Is only a practice game!!!!!

Practice match or not, its 100% or nothing. From the minute you have the national colours on you ought to give everything you have. How you practice and train and the mentality that you approach a game with and you execution with in the game could very well or should very well be that players last.

Well if he had to go to a USL team, the Islanders are one of the best, though since I am bias to them I hold them as the best team in USL. Plus they are one of the few USL teams that can beat up on MLS teams and and go a few rounds with some of the Mexican clubs. Waiting to see how he performs with the rest of the squad.
