Stuart Charles will be the Director of Coaching, Technical Director and National Coach with Mr Ball Hog as his assistant.

The National team will be playing that slow confusing brand of football..where players wouldn't be sure whether to man mark or cover the space... they would be doing both tasks..(typical W tactics).

They would be not sure of their attacking shape and play the ball deliberately with much composure into the feet of the opponent.

Their midfield would lack  creativity ...neither would the players have  any desire to be creative.

John Williams would  be satisfied and content because he would have finally achieved his ultimate objective.

Signal Hill win so much championship and only one man from Tobago get award...at least they could have given something to Colvin Hutchison..

Imagine Lawrence Rondon, Kenny Joseph, Gally Cummings, Jan Steadman, Warren Archibald, Leroy Deleon, Bobby Sookram were all school boys that represented their Senior National Team while still in High School.

The first two men didn't make the list..

This Technical Committee is a positive thing and Dr Alvin Henderson should have been heading it...Dexter Skeene cannot  carry Alvin boots..

I am from south and I can say as a south man Alvin knows Trinidad football..he has represented his country at the senior level on many occasions and did so with distinction.

His committment to football at the grassroots level in Trinidad is unparralleled. He has helped and inspired many players at all levels. He carried the Coffee Giants on his shoulders...he led by example..

He is also a Howard man and one of the players who were on the team that won Howard it's lone NCAA championship...So I don't like the idea of anyone on this site trying to discredit Alvin...

He saved a life on the football field ...a player fell suffering from cardiac arrest ..he kept the player alive...
many players who suffered injuries during a game he would be the first to help and the one all the players looked to...He is a dedicated football man...He spent a lifetime in football besides the practice of medicine..the wise cracker should retract any negative statement made about this man.

That's the real reason why we didn't qualify in '89.. Mr Cummings was a great player but he is incapable of being realistic.

Lefty your head is safe...I am very impressed with Coach Hart..now we have to ask questions of this team..

what can we do better?

what went wrong?

were our objectives met?

I noticed that objectives can be met with almost any player that he selects on his team.

It seems as though that his team has taken on an identity shaped by four or five players..

the team needs a #6 ..a player that can hold the ball, guard the ball and is a precision  passer...defensively this player has to be a rock.

If we can get another center back ...that would be a blessing...do we have scouts in europe looking for these types of players?

we don't need #10 and we dont need any more wing players.

Coach Hart has to figure out how to utilize this prolific striker...Yes K Jones is the man but with both strikers employed more goals would result.

I am aware that his system doesn't accommodate for both players but it's possible the maintain the balance while playing both strikers.

At the moment  Hart has penetration and service from both flanks...the targets to be served are K Jones, Hyland and whoever else wants it in the box...

This situation demands a lot of effort and work from these players throughout the course of a game..

The work that K Jones have to put out is tremendous ..he has to defend, hold the ball up, make runs in the box with and without the ball...all this while engaging in physical battles with a multitude of players.

Willis Plaza could be featured in the game for ten or fifteen minutes by sacrificing Hyland...Ken Jones can play down ladder and hold up the vertical ball while Plaza  is available up ladder. Both are available to deal with the service from the flanks.

The triangle in the midfield would still be strong or even stronger because K Jones would be now part of that triangle..

If this was done against the US I believe we would have won this game ....the substitutions made were not adjustments to change the game but merely replacements with a different look to achieve the same objective which was to hold the game to a draw by making sure the ball was far away from our end of the pitch for the longest period of time.

We are rich in the dept of service....Abu Bakr from the back, Cyrus, Cato, J Jones et al ...these players can penetrate and serve incessantly...to whom...?  Hyland... when K Jones is down ladder and the obvious ... it is time for Willis Plaza...he is by Trinidad standards top class.. get him in the game.

I have no doubt we will be winning our home games...also have no doubt we will be winning more games on the road.

Playing at home can be more stressful for the players.

Hart's tactical prowess is second to none..he needs help though...he is doing a lot of work...and sometimes cannot get everything done.

All his decisions so far ...spot on..Abu is a wonderful defender...it's a blessing to have a #4 who can pass the ball so well.

Didn't see the game ...highlights look very encouraging..this team can only get better ..in the whole scheme of things this draw is a victory.

Klinsmann is still in trouble ..he doesn't have the answer to Mexico..we can take points from Mexico...we have taken points from the US..we can beat them on the road where this team performs even better.

I know de Coachman not taking anybody lightly..we may drop a couple points here and there against opponents that we can beat but so would everybody else.

We have a strong chance to get to Russia.

We have to be patient and know this is the smartest Trini Coach I have seen to date..the man sleeps,breathe, dreams, football 24/7...I feel that very soon we will see an influx of foreign born coming out of the woodwork to try to get on this team..

The best thing Tim ever did is to hire Stephen Hart at the right time when this coach is peaking....I still say he needs a little help on pressure/cover/balance thing..the philosphy without the ball needs work..

All in all we can't fly in God's face ...Great Result!!

Mr Hart will out-wit Klinnsmann tomorrow. Mr Hart understands the value of the moments in football...he prepares his team to capitalize on these moments.

Mr Hart's stock will rise very high after his campaign with Trinidad is over, we will see him do bigger things in coaching in the future.

We have all the right ingredients to beat the US...we have service from outside ..penetration up front..confidence in defence...a plan to play without the ball..and most of all ..purposeful possession..Good luck! to de Red Force...

I have no doubt...we will win..Klinsmann is under the gun...he's desperate...his players sense the desperation ...desperation is a sign of weakness...he wouldn't have the players confidence 100%.

I see a man say Hart played for SanDo Tech...what year dat was? What position did he play and who were the players he played with at that time? Mod Sec right next door to Tech..

I don't recall Tech playing football during those years Hart was a student..if he did go Tech they must  have been playing Senior Grade and didn't play in the InterCol...but Tech was banned during that period.

I guess Bel Air is in La Romaine...but when yuh say La Romaine usually it means somewhere between Bamboo junction and Venus cinema...and St Benedict's College is in La Romaine.

Congrats to T&T socawarriors ...We have one of the best teams in the Concacaf...nobody will take us lightly after this result..I didn't  see the game but I am not surprised by the result..

I don't feel Klinsmann is nowhere near Hart's ability as a coach, tactician and leader...

We have a strong chance of qualifying for Russia even if we don't make it.... Hart is top class.

I just realize that dis man Sam does masturbate with mayonaise and I recommended him for a post in the TTFA...I want to retract that recommendation.

Mr Sam is obviously a very idle human being...he appears to be an individual who indulges in carnal thoughts on a regular basis so much so that he is making such recommendations to forumites in the middle of a football discussion.

This type of thought pattern is usually associated with mentally challenged or deranged individuals; typically seen in schizophrenics, street dwellers and animals ..especially the dog.

I think that Mr Sam should check himself or get professional help.

I didn't see this match ..however from this highlight film Trinidad and Tobago playin  good football...on a good day the result would have been 5-0..

This is friendly...de coachman trying to get his team to play more consistent...I saw penetrationnn...like dat..

Good stuff Hart PENETRATION...inside de box... and de goals will come from set play and open play...

get some practice against some weaker opponents ...it would iron out a lot of kinks..

Well ...with John Williams in charge..it goes like this..to get on the National team yuh have to be from W Connection..if yuh from W Connection yuh will  get the required amount of senior caps to make yuh illegible for pro contract in europe.

The National programs would become intertwined with W Connection....TTFA would become TTW Connection...the National colors would change to green and white...the rising sun/ball would be replaced with a boot and a ball..green ofcourse..

Mr John Williams would be in control of all the top players in Trinidad and Tobago..Stephen Hart would be replaced ..because his philosophy doesn't fit with John Williams'...the National Coach would be Earl Jean.. with Stuart Charles as technical director...for the Williams brothers this means more money...more money..more money..

Coach Hart's attention to detail is self evident...I am pleased to see that this coach prepares his team for all the various moments in the game.

Hart's comprehensive approach to preparation will only bring continued success....as time goes in this continuous process, the fine details should be worked out and the team would only get better....I love the work being done by the forwards!

Contro is right in my mind it is possible for Hart to beat a top 10 ranked team...he is well organized...he has players with basic skills and very good athletic ability.

Hart studies the game and studies his opponents. He needs help!

He needs help in getting quicker and more decisive ball movement...players must to be more fit..

He has succeeded in organization with the ball...now we have to become more tactical without the ball..we have to improve in defensive midfield, and set plays..

luck was on our side for two of our goals...we may not be so lucky next time.

And I am saying it again...Jam Michael Williams is not fit!

Go back to to practice ground and work on possession in the final third, finishing and pressing.

The keeper should wake up 530 a.m. for one week straight and go jogging for 2miles...cut out all fats and sugar from the diet.
