Pineapple express was kicks. Last night I watch 40 year old virgin......Talk about laugh till I cry. ;D

Get Role Models and Zack and Miri make a porno flick.

I have to give Bake and Shark a big up for leading me to Role Models.

Yuh know de black fella in 40-year old virgin is Trini right?

Romany Malco... ent talk to him in 3-4 yrs, but real cool fella too.  From Baytown Tx, but he ent fuhget he St. James roots.

--------------

Ah watch Twillight de other day, is ah chick flick... and one fuh dem teenage girls at that, but surprisingly ah find it wasn't bad at all.  Weak as far as the vampire storyline goes, but overall a good effort in the production, directing, writing and acting camps.

I watching the fella and saying he looking familiar. ME eh know if I did see him in another movie or something but he looking very familiar. I will have to look up he back ground. You know what school and area he from(originally) Bakes? I just like to keep an eye out fuh mih trini peeps them.

Seth Rogen really pulling off a nice franchise of comedies. So far every movie produced by him I have enjoyed.

De Twilight flick I did see in theatre. I watching the movie whole time to see when the action go start, talk about I was bored in the theatre. I tell mih neibour never invite me to go no cinema again. ;D

Thanks for that babalawo.

Tell me if I right.... Is it a ttraffic Light I seeing after the overpass going South when you come off the ramp? :o

Also. Why the road moves to the left to continue going East? I thought they should have kept the highway straight instead of making man swing to the left around a curve to continue going East. That really seem like accident waiting to happen.

I was watching a few previews for a movie I  borrowed(Zack and Miri make a porno movie) and noticed a flick advertised with the Towers in Trinidad as the back ground. The movie called Contract Killers and was shot in Trinidad. Anyone seen this movie as yet? How was it?

Edit: Just did a search on Netflix and it popped up. Will be adding it in my queue.

Edit : 22/04/09

Got the movie today(Contract Killers) and it was so so. Nothing great or outstanding. It was mostly done in Trinidad and the scenes was Port Of Spain and Chaguaramas. This look like it was the same crew who directed Flight Of The Ibis. The main star of Flight Of The Ibis seem to be the bad guy in this movie. As usual they put in a few White Ppl to get some billing but not bad for a low budget.

In some of the Street chases I see they real bang up ah old 626 and Corolla. All the cars in the chase them was ah set ah old car and a few nice car for the back drop. In the car chase they move from down town to chaguaramas in the blink of an eye. The best is when they describe Chaguaramas as the Chaguaramas Jungle. The Movie eh no best flick but it is a little better put together than the previous Flight Of The Ibis II.

Over all I would give it ah 2.5 out of 5.

I see we have a full thread on Movies so I feel we could start talking Audio/Visual. I into real sound and visual movie effects so I have been constantly upgrading my system for the greater effect. Currently own two receivers one in the living room and the second will probably go in my bedroom acting as a relay from the Living Room receiver. In the process of throwing out another amplifier and Subwoofer that just taking up space in my closet, from the day I bought it, it never worked so outside I think it would go. System is originally $2500 selling for around $600-$800 right now but the ting never wuk so I eh feeling like (paying for shipping and labour/parts) sending it to fix.

Today I put the new receiver to it's first test with Death Race( starring Jason Statham/Tyrese Gibson).  Thing sound awesome, it beat my older system by miles like Ben Johnson vs Carl Lewis ;D. I smile too bad when I hear the effects from them engines.

Pull out the Dark Knight after that to hear some effects that I may have missed on the older system. Had to turn down the volume because the lows was seriously causing a disturbance to the other neighbours. I hear some sounds that I've been missing from the other system. Mids were clear as day.

My older system is about 9 Months old, an Insignia receiver that sounded great when I first set it up in the Home Theatre. At the time that was an upgrade from the older receiver we had, a Sony that was about 4 years. On Thursday last week I got this receiver, a Pioneer VSX1018AH-K, 900watts, 7.1. Tomorrow the speakers get an upgrade, to Klipsch 6.5" floorstanding models, can't wait to hear what things are going to sound like.

Lets hear what we packing in those systems. Check in again tomorrow.

I'm expecting a lot from this Movie Fast and Furious. I liked those other episodes as they always have some nice scenes. Just looked at Death Race wasn't a bad flick atall.

If you really want enjoy a race flick you will have to get the right sound system to carry over the effects for a good time. Your Audio receiver makes the whole movie really jump at you.

I see Touches mention LakeView Terrace. That was some serious acting from Samuel. A lot of the parts in that Movie was hard to digest. Is longtime I eh feel so uncomfortable in a movie.

Lakeview Terrace was weak...

Saw Lakeview Terrace... decent flick.  Ending was weak.

Samuel Jackson plays this overbearing nutty cop who lives next door to an interracial couple (Kerry Washington and some white fella) who are new to the neighborhood.  All manner of disturbed psychopathy manifest themselves in Sam's character but these airheads either pawn it off as something else or juss indulging him in he nonsense.

One final act takes the madness too far and Sam's character finds himself on the brink of losing everything... including he sanity and he po-po job.  He reacts the way any sane person would... he decides to kill everybody, lol... needless to say this one doesn't end well for him.

It have ah young ting playing he daughter... lawd... what ah nice chocolate smallie.  Ah was shame tuh be peeping she bamsee and tot tots in de bathing suit 'cause in de movie she's only 15.  Ah was on mih way upstairs tuh pray fuh forgiveness fuh mih sinful toughts about de young ting when ah stopped by mih computer and discovered on IMDB dat smallie (Regine Nehy) is 20.  Mih thoughts still immoral, but at least they ent illegal anymore... mih career safe  :rotfl:

You eh easy.  :rotfl:

I wasn't impressed with the darkie too much.

I really enjoy Tropic Thnder. I just watch supabad (funny no arse). Max Payne (I don't know what to say) Transporter 3(not bad, decent) and Midnight Meat Train(Check it out, it was good).

Super Bad was funny... but Role Models was funnier.  "McLovin' " from Super Bad was in it, along with Sean William Scott, from those American Pie movies.... along with "America's Funniest Doctor"... Ken Jeong.

Good stuff.

Motor Cycle Diaries was a boss flick... finally watched it.

Role Models, Motor Cycle Diaries. I will put these on my list.
