Also saw 'The Fourth Kind'... a tale of alien encounters, supposedly based on a real story.  Seems instead that they went for the mockumentary approach ala 'Blair Witch Project' and failed miserably. Milla Jovovich was the lead actress and I like she, but unless she half-naked and shooting zombies I find she's ah waste ah time.  As was this movie.

I thought this wasn't totally bad but was an average movie to me. I gave it a 50/ 50.

B & S, take in Blood Creek and tell me what you think.

I just saw A History Of Violence yesterday. Decent flick. I won't suggest buying it but if you renting give this flick a try. It a bit slow but interesting, to say the least. The Fella Tom or whoever he really is real take down some bad man.

44 Inch Chest. No action but the dialogue is worth a look. Some old mafia fellas decide to kidnap a young fella and give him some serious kickass for thiefing one a them wife. Good jones.

Also Bucket List. Two ole man (Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman) end up in the same hospital room with cancer and decide to enjoy the last days of their life.

Leave it up to Jack to take a boring tail movie and make something of it  ;D

BK's Finest, the twist at the end was kinda ehhh, but it was cool.

Also saw The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo... good flick (subtitled, if that is not your thing then try yuh DVD features for the English dub-over)

Smilla's Sense of Snow... finally saw it some months back.  Good flick.  European movies have a totally different pacing from American films, but I love them.

Book of Eli threw me though... wasn't feeling the ending at all, some implausible shit dey.  Was with them up until then.  The Hughes brothers is some shit if you ask me, but I have to hand it to them, they have some decent flicks:

Menace To Society
Dead Presidents
From Hell
Book of Eli

Somehow they manage to convince Hollywood to give them money to make movies.

I hear yuh on the twist at the end of Brooklyn's Finest. It was crazy but it make for some good watching I think.

In Book Of Eli I was looking for something like  that. I saw a review on the movie in Home Theater magazine and the hint was a really ridiculous ending so I was looking out for it. Sometimes the reviews could really screw up your mojo for a movie. ;D

The brothers I don't think I've seen enough of their movies to make a critic on them. I will take a look at menace to society and Dead Presidents.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Don't think I've heard of it.

Did you see Blood and Bone as yet with Michael Jai White? Decent flick

Aye Bakes you having any problems getting movies(recent) these days from BlockBuster? Man is a trip to get them recent releases. Imagine I cyar get Legion, Unthinkable, Road. I only just get th Book Of Eli last week.

Saw a couple more in the last few weeks.

Book of Eli : Was decent nothing too big to talk about.

Zombieland: Funny for about the first 35 - 40 mins. Check it out.

The Crazies: Okay. Worth a look though.

Death at a Funeral: Funny.

Wolfman. Not bad. But I tired of the Warewolf ting. Time to come with something else.

In the last six months or so I've see so many apocalyptic movies. 2012. 2012 supernova. 2012 Doomsday and a number of of other documentaries on Natgeo.

Edge of Darkness: Mel Gibson was decent in this. Thought it was well put together.

Brooklyn's Finest. Thoroughly enjoyed this.

I hardly ever go to Theaters so excuse my late viewing. Doh do the bootleg ting with Movies. Got to see and hear every detail. ;D

BTW. Anyone saw New Daughter with Kevin Costner? Check it out.

I am a total lover of the German Shepherd and have to say I'm pleased to see they bringing back some honour to this breed in T&T. Nowadays I cringe to see some thing they call The German Shepherd Breed.

Had one that use to have man crossing the road when they see it in the distance. He was like a horse, big and humongous. ;D

Trinimassive say something that tend to lead me to believe we just like to run we mouth, even though we have nothing of substance to back up our stance. (check the track and field section) ;D

Anyway I was talking about this to my father the other day. There was an interview with some local coach a month or so ago about the reasons for the nonchalant or many times the ineptitude of the players on the National teams and the guy was saying it had a lot to do with the discipline displayed in practice. Players don't consistently come out to practise and almost every week have an excuse why they couldn't come to training, its either their mother was sick, they had to take a family member to the hospital or clinic. They're sick, they injured. Players hardly ever turn up for two to three consecutive days of practise.

He said coaches left it,'as is'  and just moved on not punishing the act. This can possibly be the reason for the lackadaisical effort on field with so many so of TnT's teams.

I don't think it has anything to do with the coaches at the time of competition but really is the direct result of the concentrated effort in practise. A lot of fans don't even have an idea of the effort that is required to excel and think the end result is just to fire the coach at the end of the day. I believe the problem is in the the players effort off the field. If you don't improve your threshold you almost will never exceed or attain your potential.

This is the reason for the government of the day have no right in daily bickering. Imagine Warner calling out the Prime Minister and the President like is some bar lime he invite them to. It have much more important issues at hand to deal with in T&T.

Anybody using FLAC Files (Movie/Music Loss less Format) as yet? What about HD Projectors?

I've seen Flac but haven't used them as yet. I think it's an amazing little thing. Hd Projectors are a normal thing now.

Okay I'll take back the, ' Nothing but 1080p" statement. It seems like you will be moving it around between Indoors and Out and not concerned with great Picture, so I'll say you better off with a cheap one between $500-$1000. When I built up the Home Theatre for my ex place I used a Mitsubishi 1500, 720p, Projector. It looked fair enough that when the Neighbours came over they gave the, 'WOW', effect. They thought it looked better than the Theatres they've visited. I thought it looked descent, only for the white grainy effect on bright areas of the pic whhich the Audio/Visual World call,'Noise'. Still the picture quality was bright enough in a darkened. Here are a couple others on sale here http://www.pronto.com/user/search.do?displayQuery=mitsubishi%20projectors%20hd&SEM=true&query=mitsubishi%20projectors%20hd&adid=1201607255-6938485d-0_ys&ref={keyword}&creativeid={creative}&site={placement}&OVRAW=mitsubishi%20hd%20projectors&OVKEY=mitsubishi%20hd%20projector&OVMTC=standard&OVADID=16897565512&OVKWID=171458052012&loadingComplete=truehttp://The HC6000 looks like a nice one and also there is the 1600 in there as well

What r u looking for? Expensive or as inexpensive as possible with good pic. I would say under 10feet an inexpensive one should do. I've personally used a Mitsubishi 1600 to decent effect at about 14feet. Epson and Samsung has a nice one around $2000-$3000. You should try and get nothing but 1080p. Also your Screen should be put into the equation. A screen with a 1.3 gain is the most neutral and best suited for average lighting. If your projector is bright you will want to go with a low gain as it will increase blacks, as a result definition will be increased.

Give me a couple hours I will think up of something and do a little research for you.

Touches I eh know if you read my earlier reply but as I said before with Broadband there is varying speed. You are at the mercy of other people using the line within an area. If others are using the internet at the same time as you there will be a reduction in megabytes and so will be slowed down. The next step for you and I doubt T&T has that, is, fibre optics which gives a much higher level of Megabytes(as much as 20 times and more over). Untill then play when there is the least internet traffic. All those other things will not help you but you could try it and see if things do improve.
