The outcry on the price is because this is not about the girls.

If i was paying my money to support my national team, no scene. But we here in 2014 and NONE of our national teams getting paid. All the money STILL going somewhere else. Why am I pelting money blindly because the TTFF see an avenue to exploit us by using the success of the team when the players and coaches not getting paid ???

When allyuh analysing de match, keep in mind that there were six changes to the starting lineup from the match against Curaçao.

Thank you.

That is all.

Nah man... you really saying that is a good reason for us to concede two goals and have the post rocked twice when we up 3 nil to a side down to ten men?

Very good price.

Hope the stadium is sold out.

Football / Re: Waldrum: We will qualify over Ecuador.
« on: October 28, 2014, 02:02:21 PM »
Waldrum seems to be able to do well in preparing the girls for opponents. He obviously didn't have time to prepare them for Mexico and Costa Rica compared to how well prepared they were for the group stage opponents.

A team that get 6 from a side who beat us 1-0 definitely should not have been running rings around us the way Costa Rica did before the pks.

I confident that given the time we now have to prepare for Ecuador, we will beat them.

Football / Re: 2014 SSFL Premier & Championship Division Fixtures‏.
« on: October 22, 2014, 11:13:51 PM »
That wasn't cause of a "free pass". It was because the first division had 7 teams so the winner of the senior division qualified to make it an even number. Saints and Fatima won the senior divison, so they earned the right to participate in those years.

Isn't Kelvin Jack's legal matter with the TTFF ? Or the court looked past all that legal manipulation?

Will QRC be allowed to play intercol. When Saints got demoted they were allowed to play. Not saying that they should. Intercol is usually for Div 1 teams. Actually I think intercol should be open to all schools!!!!!

From what I have been told, Intercol is a separate entity to SSFL. Thus, Intercol still remains zonal, so the teams in the Premier Division will be drawn agains the teams in the championship division. It was left for each zone to work out their format as to who playing who until they get to the national portion.

Teams were required to register their interest at the start of the season and from what I heard not all the north zone championship teams registered so I really don't know what it will look like in the end.

QRC and Trinity registered for intercol for sure.

This information is from a PE teacher in a  non- premier division school so I not saying my source is the best but it's all I have been able to find out from lots of enquiries since season start.

Football / Re: 40 T&T players who never live up to they true potential.
« on: August 09, 2014, 12:38:29 PM »
That list is everyvbody besides Dwarika and Cornell!

Nigel Pierre and Brent Rahim were in a different class in school days, in my opinion. Never live up to that on national team. In fact, they went downhill after every appearance.

Tony Sherwood, to me, live up to his name with the under 20 side and only injury destroy his career rather than him.

Stokely was never a star boy, always a role player. I find he did well with his abilities, compared to men like Marvin Gordon who had big name.

I doh find Scotty should be on this list. I find he did well and was unlucky that Stern was undroppable.

Ronaldinho and Eto"o. Both are free agents...

A side in Spain or England outside the top four /two really can't give both of them a contract and have some young guns doing all the hard work around them?

Seem like a smart guy. Hope his NT bridges ain't burnt.

Didn't turn up twice after being selected..with no contact to even give an explanation?

It hard to give somebody like that a next chance especially as it it would be at the expense of somebody who training their butt off locally.

Forgive me if this thread is only for posting results of the Republic Bank youth cup. However, seeing all these youth team names made me wonder if we have a list of all the youth clubs/training schools there are in the country?

It seems like we have hundreds scattered around the country

All maybes, but he's still our best goalie and comfortably better than any other Caribbean keepers bar Jamaica

Thus, the need to import one as opposed to just replacing him...

« on: October 17, 2013, 10:34:58 AM »
fellahs leonson was a left winger on the strike sqaud while faustin was the left back.

We wasn't playin a 4-2-4 so I really eh know how to classify Leonson. The best I could say is that was playing the role that Thierry Henry play for Arsenal, cutting in from the left., with Philbert Jones or Alibey being the "fox in the box". Leonson wasn't known for crossing the ball if he was a left winger.

I call Hardest name cause obviously this thread is about names and not performance.

This midfield eh do nuttin yet. And Hardest had all the potential in the world. He, Brent Rahim...and even Theobald was world beaters when they first break through from college football.

I haven't seen anybody in this midfield even approach that level of potential, far less performance. Yet.

Hyland especially, still going by name and not performance(for the national team.)

I've been an addict since 92...Stopped upgrading since the split in ownership. I felt like something just wasn't the same re the addcitveness. I still play the older versions more even though I still get the new ones each year.

I'll probably try the FM Classic Mode as suggested

uhh...Yorke, Birchie,Edwards, Whitley and 36 yr old Latas

umm...Hutson Charles, Latas, Yorke, Jamerson and Leonson Lewis on d left for we,we,we,we

In terms of "names...any midfield with Hardest or Gally

I really not sure where this question come from.

CPL had star power and T20 is the number one team sport in the world right now based on income generation per game.

We have no foreign born keepers out there? Phillips and Jan Michael seem to be the same standard, neither a standout. Where Thorne Holder? Developing somewhere?

From  a trini perspective...he still slow, on the ball, off the ball. And it looks like laziness to me too.Plus, his final pass is always one step too late for our attackers. Maybe more playing time with him might allow them to understand when he going to pass because it always seems to be at the wrong time.

Molino is the better prospect right now...

PP gov't having another reshuffle...... hope dey move Anil out !!!! dais de only reshuffle I interested in. One of de worst sports ministers EVER.

I hearing more and more people saying this... and part ah me only laughing.  Everybody was up in arms about Hunt, when in fact Hunt was quietly one of the more engaged and effective MoS in QUITE some time.  Yes the flag was an unnecessary extravagance, but outside of that none of the grievances people had with him seem significant now.

D flag was $2m. When I hear the amount of money being spent on firetrucks, the $12m Anil just take for himself and nobody ask about, plus d $175m for $5m dollar properties and not a peep, it hard to imagine the amount of furore that was raised about that flag. Since Jack show them how to theif, $2m is not petty cash that not even worth reporting.

I think we need to get on this man back a little more. You all read Lasana's article about how much more money this sporting administration get compared to the past? And every single sporting body (except boxing) seems to be struggling to get anything?

I am at the grassroots level and I am not seeing the development there either. The lifesport project stop long time. It will probably start again because of local...but that will be under the new budget. So what about all the money from the last 2 or 3 budgets that he claim went into that?

And he always in a club buying big drinks for the girls and waltzing around like he drunk. That image is so disgusting whenever i see him. As a Minister and parliamentary representative

Plus, not even a word about the auditor general report on the missing millions...

The 2001 stadiums still not usable so we have to be paying Jack rent in centre of excellence still...

Fetematch sides and events still have more access to the Hasely Crawford training grounds than national teams...

This man getting a free ride. At least Jack was performing while doing his bobol and f**kery
