Offers already rolling in for unemployed Eriksson

Quote
On the subject of the approach from Jamaica, he added: 'It appeared in the Press before there was any contact to myself, but then there was contact to myself.

'I just have to say this: I had a very pleasant conversation with an agency, a company representing Jamaica, and I can tell you that in the course of that conversation, the person concerned told me that Jamaica, the government there, had made a substantial amount of money available.

'He actually told me what their hit-list was, and you would be very surprised at the level of people that they are going for.'

leh we stick here now...

money from witco might be an issue cause they try not to affiliate with sport again...hence giving up the sports awards...but the ideas positive though...

Football / Re: France should start Saha with Henry

i think saha might be a good idea as he can come back into the midfield and hold up the ball or go forward...spread some passes etc...

Football / Re: Let me "tax" allyuh brains, rule change.
« on: July 03, 2006, 06:20:51 PM »

A good rule change would be to institute retroactive punishments for cheating and diving when clear evidence is presented on tv replay. This would help cut all that out of the game.

i down with this...stop diving and keep fighting for the damn ball...i fed up of free kicks now...

It boring with the criticism of Ince now. The man said he was misquoted why can't we give him the benefit of the doubt.

June was only Up. After the abridged version of the anthem vs Sweden I lost my voice singing the anthem in the England game. I had the cold but did not care the entire anthem had to be sung.

Thanks to the Soca Warriors my dream for extensive travel was realize 2010 we coming 4 them

the average trini will take the first thing they hear and run with it till kingdom come...normal vibes...

i'm enjoying it...games geting harder as teams getting better...

4 years ago comming into a final nobaody would ah say ivory coast have a good team...or even consider trinidad to be there...but teams from all continents getting stronger, i feel by next 4 years the world cup go be really hard...but with the excitement this time...teams will have the belief to go after each other...

2006 World Cup - Germany / Re: England vs Portugal
« on: July 02, 2006, 11:25:04 AM »
as a german supporter i think this :
england played hard and should have won the game
it wasnt to be and portugal win on penalties..agreed
the foul by rooney wasnt a red card everyone in germany most think it was accident as look he look at the ball the time there
ronaldo is hated by us as he dive but he should not have try get him sent off
owen hargreaves has proved why my club bayern love him and he is coving oustanding,
sven caused problems and should have left england as he ruins everylot
portugal coach has too many cheat tactic

germany should win

sven again...damn swed...

2006 World Cup - Germany / Re: England vs Portugal
« on: July 02, 2006, 11:08:50 AM »
Now I dont know what exactly the wink was about but here's my view: Part of the game plan was to get under Rooney's skin --get him mad and let his temper get the better of him --Ronaldo was probably the one chosen to antagonise Rooney since Ronaldo knows him best. Big Phil is known for tactics like these and dont you guys remember when he said before the 2002 world Cup telling the Brazilians to go out and foul becuase the team that fouls most usually wins. Scolari is a wily coach and plays everything to his advantage--even if its a bit sinister like this one

Thank you someone talkning sense..this what i be saying

What sense???... this is nothing but wild speculation. If Ronaldo's job was to get under Rooney's skin as you say why did he go to the ref and not just start pushing or shoving his hand in Rooney's face which would have been more effective??
Why did he not do anything else in that game to get under Rooney's skin???

Come on... Rooney lost it, plain and simple. He is the ONLY one to blame!

nah...sven could hold some blame to...

Football / Re: Who do you think teams out will want to win?...
« on: July 02, 2006, 11:06:35 AM »
in my book before it start was either trinidad or england had my support...
now that they gone two teams have my support...trinidad and england...
who win now win...i'll settle for watching some good football...

seems pretty good to me. except i think i would have beckham to start and swap him with lennon if the oppossion deal with the cross. or lennon to start and swap with beckham..jus to mess things up a bit
If only sven had done this before the tournament.
Euro 2008 is the next thing..and although alot of people are saying england has all its good players now..i think 2008 should be ok.
owen may be fit by then..

i think we have to getaway from beckham...we cant rely on dead balls for the rest of our lives...and even if he starts...once we see the game going a particular way...maybe we need to sub him earlier

Euro 2008 now?  ::)  Got to give you guys marks for religion.

They say faith is belief in something in the absence of any evidence whatsoever.  Based on that, England fans have got to be the most religious (some call it delusional but that's just semantics...u know..like tomaytoe and tomato.. ;D) in the history of mankind.  ;D ;D ;D

hoss...we not delusional...your av is delusional...

lol
