yuh know, this whole hex is just a demonstration of deep rooted trinidad psychology.  everybody complain bout we does start the game too relaxed and concede easy goals...but daiz exactly how we start the hex.  It was like is okay to lose the opening match to US (analogous to conceeding 1 goal early in the game), we have time to ketch up later.  We didn't come out with that "we need to buss up that US team..lewwe take 50 shots at goal and put our heart and soul into it."
now at  this 85th minute of the hex, could stern pull back 2?or will it be latapy?
yuh see? everything out of our control now and we have to just pray and pray.
ps.  the best thing we could be praying for is for US to beat CR in CR, cuz then they have to come blazing against GUA.

that is an ideal..but players will get release in time?  don't think so.  when you picking sides to play against though you have to consider that they have a schedule to move around too....worse yet if they still have qualifying matches too....Jamaica might be a good warm up...or Honduras.

well boy, trinidad (and tobago) go always be trinidad (ditto).  ah love them like a son eh, but how hard it is to wonder if yuh son really ready? Is bias that make yuh eyes so clouded?  how everybody did know we was going to lose to the US before me? when was the last time yuh see trinidad (and tobago) play outright shit? anybody could remember?
and ah find it have a new trend on the board downtalking the band-wagonists...pick yuh verse to prove to yourself that yuh shouldn't be doing that.
alright..back to the discussion, I just had to release a lil sadnes and disappointment.  Is hard now that we future not really in we own hands anymore.
this thing make me realize that is really out of we hands if we win or lose.  Lewwe all ask the Big man for a win in panama...that go be step one....and if is not being too greedy, we'd like a 5 goal margin...but  if not, we go take a scape by win.

The biggest diference between TnT and countries like the US/Mexico is the size of the population. If we were larger we would have 10 Stern Johns, 5 Latapys, 15 Birchalls, 4 Shakas...etc. That improves your talent pool, and the local league would be much more competitive, more players would gain international club exposure etc...

No. Does have Mexico have 10 Stern Johns? Do they have any Latapys? A proper development program is what produces players of at least a certain caliber. Good players don't just automatically come out of the blue no matter how many people are playing the game. Where's China's dominance? They have at least a billion peple, How about India?

All the things you mentioned Filho, fitness, technical ability are things which every player playing organized football at any level is supposed to have. If our players don't have it it's simply because our infrastucture has allowed them to come up with a half-assed approach to the game.

I know somebody woulda come up with that point, but from that population you have to count the percentage that interested in football... so for instance, we take Brazil -180 million 100% interested in football...so you have a 180 million football population... you take US 20% interested...thaz still 50 million people...India though...if it ain't cricket or indian movies, forget it...similar situation in china

Just to retort  ...so yuh call 2 goals in one game a mainly positive contribution over the 7 games we have played so far in the hex. It was a positive contribution in one game...I did say after all 10games.
