I heard some where recently that some countries in the olden days use to prepare against some very weak teams. This was done primarly to boost morale. So countries or clubs would play a real weak side and hit them 10 goals and thing. Germany recently hit their younger team 12 as part of the warm up for the WC. What allyuh thing about that approach? I could see the logic but not sure it would benefit us.

I just come back from a late night sweat....Man waiting around to see the Trini play....Ah gal make me lie down yes. Rush in with meh out shape self and that was that yes. Ah get up quick quick and went and jam she. Nobody ever make me lie down ever.....Sign 1. Sign 2. last month my wife come to see me play, next thing you know she gone. She say I was embarrassing she.. Because my belly sticking out ah cyah run fast and ah only pointing and backin up......

We always talking about we go beat this side...Beat that side... Talk talk talk......Anybody realise that we does loose what we should win and win what we should loose... Loose badly against Guatemala after showing good agaisnt USA...Up and down Up and Down. Now because I am a Trini I hate to hear foriegners use words like inconsistent and indicipline to discribe us. But actions speak louder than words and in our case as loud as other people's words. Why do we always need a wake up call? Praise God for two games cause we may have been out the World Cup on Saturday...Think about that.
In my opinion our downfall is that we find ourselves on the block talking about the win before we even play.
We think about the fete after the game before we play the game. Now nothing wrong with that unless fantasy land makes you forget about your duties during the game or your game plan.....
On this board I have read some real sound posts with good judgement and sound unpacking of the football but it also have men that does just fire off their mouth too!!!!! To an large extent that's what's the board is for I guess...The lime is always sweet... ..However, if this board is as influencial and visible as some say we maybe doing our team harm buy some of the things we post, especially on the eve of Wednesday......So man should just use good judgement....
Bahrain is a good team..They are not a sh*t team as some posters loosely claim....Bahrain could take the life out us as a nation and a people, they are already halfway there.....They are already in our chest, fingers around our heart and pulling to extingush our World Cup life until a next generation....
However, we are Soca Warriors, that means that out of 1.2mil. people we've shaken of the Queen, lived through the violence of the Muslimeen. We have a rich culture that has inspired the world. Bahrain is not the first to try to take something from us, we've won bigger and harder victories in life...We could win this.....We need to remember why we're the Soca Warriors. More than the music it's about out warrior spirit. Our Warrior spirit came and got our independence, our Warrior spirit came with the steel pan, it came with calypso and limbo, Our Warrior spirit said no to Abu Bakra....
Bahrain you are ah good team we've adjusted our view of you, but on Wednesday, the Warriors coming for you...

It was directed to the coach fellas.......I NEVER hear Bruce talk like that......"We felt sorry for them" All that talk is to insult Leo....In other words I out coached a bid time coach.....
But Bruce all you have going for you is players say. Any team that could break your rhythm beating you. You couldn't even score against our ten men...why? You accustomed to 11 ......NOT 1 player on your team could play in the zone of spontaneity, the zone that makes football beautiful.
Yeah you've been constantly beating us. But there is no shame in our class of players check the stats on that one. NOT one single American player has had a bombastic foreign career.
We might be a small nation and you a super power but consider the fact that even as a super power you've never made a serious run at the world cup. And in the world's eye you still not a football nation and no one knows the name of your players across the sea.

I not sure what to call it, you guys might come up with a good name. But the purpose of this organisation would be to keep good player country relations. With the initial target players being our internationals.
Purpose is to
1. Help our internationals know that the nation is thinking of them and wishing them success.
2. Serve as the middle ground between the players and the administrations, i.e. TTFA, coaching staff etc...
3. Increase the nos. of players willing to represent the nation in internationals.
4. Increase national pride
How......
Basic Hospitality and organisation.......
1. Find out every international players birthday and never forget to send a gift and a call from the nation. Send a coconut for them to buss and drink or some Julie mango for them to lick-up.
2. When they doing well and scoring call them and tell them that as a nation you proud and which them success.
3. When things not going so well call them still and say something.
4. When they coming home offer them a drop home.
This shouldn't take more than 2 people on the payroll......
and at most $100,000 TT...........
Ah mean, how much internationals we have outside? 100? Tallman?
This organisation should be the one making the first contact when the nation is interested in a player. Upon player interest to play, coaches and Admin (TTFA) should get involved.
Then they should take the modle and duplicate it for college based players.
This should be run by the government because when our players do well T&T gets marketed not TTFA....
Even if a player is not picked he wouldn't feel abandoned by the nation.
E.g. We treat Latas real bad and now the man just overs that stress.
We need to start cherishing our players and not just abusing them. It is real dotishness to think that God give a man all that football skills so that you and I could say that we qualify for the world cup. What about his needs. A basic life principle: If you want your vision to succeed help someone with theirs'.
If we treated your players like this tell me who eh coming to play when you call them

The Christian faith teaches how to deal with weaknesses and struggles in one's life.
One of the strategies offered is how to recognize the enemy and his plans. The devil knows that perception becomes true....meaning... if he gets you to believe that you are week, then you are, even if strength is hidden in you. Jesus comes on the other hand and says "The truth shall set you free." Meaning if you know and believe the truth about yourself then those chains that seemed so real suddenly vanish.
As a young fellas I used to say if I could only get rid of this one thing my life would be good. After much failure in that area my mentor told me that I needed to stop making this thing so large and monsterous in my life. The fact that I saw it as the one thing i had to overcome made it a mountain when it was really a handfull a sand on the ground.
We had a bad day on Nov. 19 1989. Maybe that's all it was just a bad day. But since then we've based every world cup WCQ as if it is Nov. 20 1989. We have made a mountain for us to climb..."If we could only beat the USA"....If we could only defeat this mountain. We build this thing up like if it's the week agaisnt the strong. Yet our players walk in England and make a name, walk in Scotland make a name, walk in Japan, make a name.

I have an idea to put together a little video montage of the team. Something to build a little team spirit for the 17th. If anybody could get their hands on some footage. I could put a little 5 min. thing together.
We could use goals from as way back as the Strike Squad days to present. I'm assuming that TTFA might have the power to get some of that stuff. I know it have big wigs in here so.
I'm a national award winning video editor so I go make the forum proud.
The way Alberta knock out them 1000 post it appears like forum = country. Rightly so.
If we cyah get video we could do pictures similar to what ESPN does. THe pictures will have to be good quality and good composition. E.g. Yorke crying when we loss in Nov 19th.

I have a song in the last 24 songs to be chosen for the Holy Hip Hop volume 3. This
compilation has national distribution and is one of the few christian rap
albums to have been nominated for a Grammy. That was last year. With allyuh vote I could end up on the album and maybe even get a Grammy nomination or a Grammy. If any of the 2 happen I buying first rounds in Germany.

Fellas I just watch the game....I ent no expert....but the way it looks to me...is...We need a keeper, a midfielder and a forward...NOT A STRIKER A FORWARD .....In my opinion Yorke should be the forward or the midfielder.....He should not be up there with Stern....We only ned on of them kind of players up they....
We don't have the mid field that could make good use of STERn and Yorke together...simple as that....We have a middle that need men that could chase a ball down and beat a man an shoot.
In my opinion let Stern sit down, Sell Mr. Warner house and bring Latas back....

Hi fellas I always enjoy reading everything everybody have to say.
You ever realise that opportunity is just like a stray dog? You never know when it will show up and you can't make it stay. It's seems like all we have in this life is moments/opportunity and toay, Panama.
There's only one way to meet opportunity and that is to MEET OPPORTUNITY!!!!. Meet it in the middle. Today fellas alot of prayers going with you, alot of people believe in you. Today my prayer is that you believe in you, believe in each other. Live your dream today, not just mine and all the other supports but live your dream. The dream that got birth in the Savannah, on the corner, in St. Augutine, El Do or where ever live that.
