Why release Molino?   That is so strange.

He's suspended.

Why?  Card?

Look we just need to form a West Indies Team and go win the World Cup.  Cause if we were to put our best foot forward on a team like that we could win it.

That could have happened in the late 50s and possibly early 60s. Eh go happen now!

:beermug:   Why?  FIFA would love the idea.

Not sure if this will get to you fellas but I wanted to at least try.

Firstly, thank you for getting into the colors.  As a player I know T&T fans can be the worst combination of dunce and unappreciative.  I guess you can say it's in our culture, to pull down and never build up, to lambaste and wound.  It seems as if somewhere in the recesses of our minds we expect things to fall apart.  Some might argue that as a people we have a history of losing and some would say that we've gotten accustomed to it.

I disagree.  I believe our country has been winning for a very long time.  We don't see the wins because we are aiming at the wrong values.  We measuring the wrong things.  What can a country of 1.3 mill. people offer international football?  A damn lot for two islands.  We've just been measuring the wrong values.

The true value of the game may not always be on the scoreboard.  The true value is in the guy next to you.
How would you play with Stern John, Dwight or Latas knowing that you would never see them again in your
generation?  The value is in your people, the value is in your brother, it always has been and always will be.  If we were to understand this we will never loose.  My team(business) never looses regardless of the score.
The integral factor in winning is what can be done together.  And it's always more that we can do by ourselves.

Do you think you'll see a Dwight again after his season has past?  When?  All of our moments are right now, in this space.  Time ticking and at the end, the real value isn't even the games.  It's in your brother.  Allyuh big head Trinis.   ;D

Take off the head phones fellas, share a lil joke, share a compliment, an encouragement, even a prayer.
Find a player and tell him all the nice things you want the press to say about you.  That stuff is hard but it's the healing you need.

I know because:
1. The most dangerous aerial threat in Concacaf get maybe one or two crosses in a whole game.  One he out jumped a goalkeeper.   :o
2. We bring on a fast forward and he ain't get no ball.  How?

The true value is in your people, the guy next to you.  So take a bow to your brother, make space for him to succeed, do unto others as you'll like done to you.  If you do this you'll have great victory in the game and in life.  The true value of winning that exist beyond the scoreboard.

Great success tomorrow fellas.

Closing Tip: If KJ succeeds everyone will.  Play for each other's success.

It looks great.  We need more films like this.  I waiting for the one on how the Israelites get sold to America and the Caribbean.  That would be a film.

Great article Flex.  Yes Palitos history not on out side.  However, the recent history suggest we have as great a chance as ever.  So I would push for some draws and even some wins in the next couple games.

I don't believe that the linesman get a phone call.  However, I do believe that minus the effects of white supremacy and systemic oppression of black and brown folks that nations like ours will be doing better in all areas including football.

Think about it.  If it was known that the patriarchs of the bible where black people including Jesus himself, Samson-Dreadlocks, Moses, Daniel, The Prophets.  What if we were fully aware that the ancient civilizations were lead by people in your skin? - The Pyramids, sailors, inventors all black people.  What if that heritage was in front of you from the time your eyes open.  You think we'll be fighting up with Mexico and USA. Many of us will understand the struggle of your own parents.  What if those truths were in front of them from the start of their life?

Instead we are told to thank Christopher Columbus.

Everyday black and brown folks have to go out and prove themselves.  That pressure alone for many is the difference between huge success, small success or failure.   We all know this, something is always driving us.  Trying to do better than pops, making sure mom is ok, trying to be the first in the family, leave something for the kids, I can go on and on.  We're all searching from some longevity, some heritage, a map that defines and destines us.  Regular white folks don't think about that stuff.

So when you see them young fellas 21, 18, 23 put on them colors and acting like their head ain't screw on straight have empathy, fighting the matrix is no light matter.

But it can be done, as the West Indies we did it in cricket I believe we can do it in football.  The conspiracy has always been at work.  It just flesh out in worst ways than offside.

Football / Re: You're down a goal....how come no Levi Garcia?
« on: March 29, 2017, 09:35:43 PM »
didn' mind d boatswain change  except dat it was for KJ, my feelin was dat molino should have made way, do agree on levi though....but we should have doubled down on d physicality at that stage and brought in some speed and skill to compliment joevin

I honestly don't get the boatswain thing.

Ah mean....football so sophisticated these days and teams have scouts EVERYWHERE.  No stone left unturned as it were.

If he was THAT special, yuh doh think he would be playing somewhere like where Levi playing at least?  Even a lil trial self?

Is like we ketch a vaps and hoping that the player that scores goals against Rangers, Club Sando, and Barbados will emulate that against MEXICO

Sad to say....it mostly doh wuk like that

Well to be honest.  Boatswain could have scored.  Late in the game JJ draw 4 men at the top of the area. Boatswain pull away onside in the 18 all JJ had to to was release the ball and he all by himself instead JJ hold on to the ball and get fowl.  JJ is consistently denying other players the ball (KJ) and holding it to much.  Remember the the 4 - 4 draw with Mexico?  KJ break inside push past a player and then lay the ball off bam goal.  JJ did the same exact play yesterday but unlike KJ refused Boatswain the ball and choose to go down for the free kick.

Posting the link
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=73SB56ql4rs

1:29.  JJ get the ball instead of just hittin it back across to KJ (Which is the best option) he decides to go for goal.  He scores but harder chance to take.  Same thing with Molino against Panama. KJ open and free but he choose the harder thing and scores.  That kinda mentality hurts a team against better opposition which it did against Mexico.

i thought K Jones was amazing...and thats all we keep asking for...run..work..and run some more...well played skipper

Mikel Williams was poor...i keep saying Joevin Jones should play left back for us...JUST like he does at Seattle...

Yeah he hard on KJ.  The man play a 9.5 in my book.  The issue for me is that fellas like Cato and Jones and Molino (to an extent)  hold the ball to long and don't set KJ enough.  If they were to get that ball in early it will be mess.  They better not hold up the ball like that against them short Mexicans.

Hmm.  Life is a thing.  I was over at my old school FB page, just passing through and saw that a professor had passed away.  I couldn't really remember her and assumed I didn't know her well.  Come over here to find out that the same person that I've been laughing with, sending PMs on here for year was that very same soul and we came from the very same place.  Been on here years and never knew it.  We never had any issue, we were always kind to each other.  I'm glad that was the case.

Rest in Peace my friend Rest in Paradise.

Good article, funny with truth.

To be honest, Hart is not the man for the job, he second guess himself and his players.

He is weak as a coach.

I hope we get someone like Fenwick.

From whence did this revelation come?  When did humility and realism become a weakness?  Harts run will go down in lore as an awakening of our football.  You can only second guess yourself when you are not fully prepared or if some personal abuse has been inflicted on you to anchor you in mediocrity for life.  Then you waste your time trying to be something you are not, over compensating and making things worse.  Never really dealing with the real issue of self.  For a brief spell our football was higher than we deserved.  These things don't come by accident.   Fenwick, as loud as he is does not have Harts record.

DJW do the Honorable thing...... resign
Take your yes men with you
Thank you very much

Why?
I think he is quite fine with how things are going.  Maybe its a scorch earth policy to start from scratch that is supported by the Clubs and Regional Associations.  They are the ones who decide if things should continue with him as is.

No scorched earth policy, just corruption and sabotage.... throw in match fixing and outside interference in there

Plain talk.  There have never been this much madness.  DJW and his crew gruesomely inept.

To be honest, I don't even feel sad, hurt, gutted or disappointed by this result, don't  think I've ever felt this way for a T&T loss. I'm getting to the point where I don't really care anymore and it's not the players or even the coach. Just can't continue to support this administration, I might get more joy rooting for Swansea or even Sunderland like Kev.

Dude to just communicate my sentiments as clear as ever.  Listen, this is the first game in the History of T&T football that I blank.  I choose to do something else instead of follow this game.  Sadly, when I finally check back.. I'm glad I didn't waste my time.

Could it be that these fellas disillusioned by the firing of Hart? They eh like how things went down and now they eh motivated to work with the new regime?

That would also be unprofessional and unfortunate, but it somewhat easier to empathize with than, "they just like a fete."

Don't forget Hart had these same issues with these players the last few games

Relationship is key.  Leadership is paramount.  I'm beginning to feel St. Feet lacking on both fronts.  Yes there was little thing here and there but the difference is how they were handled.  You don't blast people in the press. St Feet may have to come to terms with some prejudices.

Is it to far fetched that other powerful federations around Concacaf has paid off DJW so that 1. Hart can be fired and 2. All chances of Qualifying are gone.  Because if you can hold Mexico twice, then maybe a shaky US don't qualify.  Just some random musings I guess.

I don't see the issue really.  I'm sure these fellas didn't plan this fete match yesterday.  It's a good thing they doing.  I can't knock them for that, honestly.  They can't not sure up.  For things like this I will give them a break to come in camp a lil later.  Once they do their duty and don't go out drinking and thing.  It's a positive..  I'm for that.  They are grown fellas..treat them with respect even when they drift lil bit.
