The PFL is too far removed from the communities, literally and figuratively. That is partly the price of professional football. Cali home stadium is the L.G. but look how far that is from the bulk of their base. To me the PL is improving their product (the Tobago fiasco not withstanding) but they still suffering growing pains. As competition gets intense between teams they will eventually have to rely on filling their stadiums. That is when they must be astute enough to hone in on cultural undercurrents like North-South rivalry and the "ghetto army" thing Shabazz try to promote against Defence force. But its not becoming for a coach to act as promoter.

That is why I could see the merits of Jemmott doing "community service". It was not his to do but if PL teams should strive for a greater presence in the communities they serve. I do not see a downside to entering small goal teams in tournaments, maybe older semi-retired players, or regular players in the off season, or sponsoring more youth tournaments or position their "star" players in more visible in the community. But one step at a time.

So the PL was not even checking and verifying its own required documentation, or turning a blind eye just to keep Tobago in the league. This is the kind of nonsense that FPATT can prevent from happening.

Best they use the gold cup core team to give the PL players some measure of motivation to beat El Salvador and maybe see who cleaning up relative to the last meeting. International exposure for PL players really can't hurt. Now U-23 is done we may see some players like Tinto and Wolfe really begin to challenge for the senior team.

Palos, not sure about current drills in football now but look like they could do well to incorporate elements of speed, non-projection, and unpredictability in the drills to push them right on the edge of their skill sets. Last time I play was long time so I don't really know current methods

Thank God my credibility does not depend on someone who calls himself Zandolie. Crawl never, that's for a Zandolie, but upright and in your face is my style. Seems like you have a grudge. I am going to make sure from now on you keep notes. Now it seems as if hope has given way to anger. But I am not the type to add insult to injury. Find an outlet and slow down on the spicy curry!!!

Spicy curry....?   ::) Doh fight talk like you soooo DOWN with Trini culture....Zandolie is not named for a lizard but a great Calypsonian. Anyway yuh move like an ass and  I call yuh on it. Now yuh want to play yuh throwing insults. Steups

Lesly St. Fleur is Haitian but grew up in the Bahamas. That's who the crowd was basically cheering for. He missed two late chances and could have made it 3 nil.

The Bahamian team did also have about 3 or 4 white guys whom I suspect are naturalized citizens. Bermuda loves to pull that foreign card also, and the roster always tell you place of birth, England, Ireland etc...

ANY NEWS on CUBA vs GRENADA

You thought you could crawl back up in here unnoticed after that piece of garbage post you made on August 26th. Your credibility here is still not worth a wet fart in a hot breeze. You in the running with #1Trinba, Ja2099/Corncom1/Bricktop for "Poster of the Year"

The PL site is now showing highlights instead of all full games. The also speed up the video play to make the games look faster. Obvously they still play very slowly compared to 1st, 2nd and 3rd division continental leagues, but the pace has increased tremendously from last year. We a good 20-30 years behind. Watch an international game from the 1970's and you will see where the PL was last year.

McComie smooth like butter. He defended his selections, exonerated his tactics and placed blame on the nervousness of the players. He took not one iota of blame for himself. But however dissapointing he can't be blamed for the fundamentals of these players. The U-23 generation are like a bonsai garden, and MaComie cannot take responsibility for that.  Of the players I am somewhat familair with, IMO only Tinto, Daniel and Murray, Hyland and Elton John might make a 2010 squad as subs. Doh watch Elton John slight.

I am not surprise that they losing, but that is a big score. To be honest, I don't think TTFF care much about Olimpic football. During the Pan Am games that squad should have been training and playing prictice games. TTFF did not focus on that. The whole admin. is on the election footing. football could wait. All the money gone into the election. They just throw in the squad and hoping them boys go pull it off, but they getting a rude awakening. TTFF just don't care. Forget Bejing.

South Africa not exactly looking promising either.
It's not.  ;D ;D

but it look promsing for ja though eh

I grow up in St. Anns and one thing I learn is a conversation with mad people the intellectually disadvantaged is pointless. Doh study he.
So this "intellectually disadvantaged" would be wrong in telling you that it's "grew".?
If you weren't "intellectually disadvantaged" you would recognize colloquial writing when you see it.

A 34-year old PFL player would most likely be a training cone in fast-paced international football.

Yes most likely the AVERAGE 34 year old PFLer would be a training cone. BUT if he is running harder than most, more intense than most and more skillful than most, who cares if he is in the PFL or is 34. Since when being in the PFL disqualifies you from being a good player. Yuh ever see Sheldon Emmanuel play. He could probably walk on we Senior team and challenge Avery or Nigel Daniel easy easy. Dončt forget 38 year old Latapy. He could still walk on the team too if he so pleased.  I dončt know if you have seen Oliver play but there is a good reason that people are baffled by that exclusion. And its not just the exclusion. Is the damn randomness with which the TTFF bases selection that does get my goat.

Peace

Trini 2010. It is impossible for a football organization to be as stupid as the TTFF is. Therefore the TTFF is not as stupid as it seems. ::)

Serously they could form an olympic team to beat Cuba and beat Barbados senior team with all the players that they left out, not including the senior warriors.

Carlon Murray, Findley, Shakes, Yohance Marshall, Jason Devenish, Patterson, Hyland, Richard Roy, Peltier, Makan Hislop, Josimar Belgrave, Abu Bahkr. Some are due to injuries or what not but lord almighty....enough is enough. Oh lord they cyah even call up Oral Bullen! :rotfl:

Chris Crocker is an openly gay Tennessee-based YouTube and MySpace personality and self-described edutainer who produces and acts in transgressive videos. Crocker lives with his Pentecostal grandparents.  Crocker, who laments his town's lack of gay culture, said, "The only gay pride parade where I live is in my bedroom.

According to Crocker, when his grandmother found out that he was gay, she initially "said that he needed an exorcism"

As of October 2007, Crocker's videos have received a combined 34.9 million plays on MySpace, and his vlog channel on YouTube is the 15th most viewed of all time in all categories, with over 42 million views. ------FROM WIKIPEDIA
