Football / Re: Jamaica Football Thread.
« on: November 12, 2011, 01:10:15 PM »
:cursing: :cursing: Why did this have to happen against T&T. The Reggae Boyz #1 Caribbean football rivals whom I very much wanted Jamaica's Reggae Boyz to meet in the HEX. Now my wish won't come true which means I will have to revise this poll since Guyana is not on the list:
http://www.socawarriors.net/forum/index.php?topic=54637.0

As for the downfall of T&T's football. I remember when a thread was posted about Jamaica's Reggae Boyz whom were in a similar, but not this bad situation.

http://www.socawarriors.net/forum/index.php?topic=28791.0;topicseen

And is it possible to get a report from BM and SM whom were at the match. ;D

That is crap. The T&T television stations should be ashamed of themselves. We saw all Jamaica's World Cup qualifiers when the Reggae Boyz played away.

And I especially want to see Barbados get a 6-0 cutarse from T&T basically putting them out of contention all together. ;D

This is one time I want T&T to beat Barbados and give them their second straight loss in the group. A 6-0 cut-arse would put me on a high. :flamethrower: them. :wavetowel: :wavetowel: :wavetowel: T&T.

For abusing my Jamaican sister. I dislike them. You would not believe. :puking:

Oye, oye, oye.....doh blight we team.....
Only when your Soca Warriors play against the Reggae Boyz. ;D

Every time i see this Jamaica thread i's wonder what it doing on this site. Why admin allowing this? What can this thread contribute to SOCA WARRIORS website? It eh have nutten to do with disdain for Jamaica (or maybe it does  ), this is just a question of logic. I all for Caribbean unity, integration, harmony blah blah blah but really, this site eh have nutten to do with yard unless socawarriors.net is a subset of reallyboyz or something of the sort. Allyuh fix this nah...please.

As you can see this thread was originally created by Flex himself!
I believe the reason he created this thread was to stop the irritating spamming of Reggaeboyz football information all over this board by fellas like Jamaica2099, RF and the crew!

It was the only alternative saving banning those guys entirely from posting on this board as they do sometimes post some useful information which saves the few of us who might be interested from having to visit the Reggeboyz website! :beermug:
So that was your reason from page 12 for this:

All you Reggaeboyz please promise us one thing!

If by some miracle T&T makes the Hex for another serious chance at World Cup qualification and Jamaica doesn't that you guys don't come back on this forum with any lame excuses for Jamaica?!

After that you either come here to support the Soca Warriors as this is the Soca Warriors Discussion Forum or you don't ever come back here ever!!

Can you Reggaeboyz honestly promise us that?!

My reason for posting that was simple!

To see if you guys have enough faith in your team to take on a simple bet and live up to a promise!

If you could understand English you would already have understood that so I could only conclude that you guys are certified cowards who don't have the balls to bet on your own team making the Hex while a $hit team like T&T (as you are always happy to argue) won't!!

It痴 simple really, what more is there to understand other than you guys being certified cowards if you are too scared to take on that simple bet with the promise attached!

You can duck and weave from the question as much as you like the evidence of your cowardice is quite clear!!
:rotfl: :rotfl: Is this what you call "Psyching the enemy." by calling him a coward.  :applause: :applause: :applause: Good Job. Excellent.

You are guys are some shameless cowards!

In sports especially football people who have faith in their team will normally take any sporting bet to demonstrate their confidence and faith in their team!

I have now lost what little respect I had left for you guys and would no longer waste my time posting in this thread as you guys have no honour!

Think I will stop wasting my time even reading stuff in this thread!!

I'm out of here as I don't really want to hang with you shameless cowards who don't even have the balls to take a sporting bet on their team!!

This is my last time visiting this thread!

I'm out!!
YIKES! ReggaeFan was right. What is that you want from banning Jamaicans posting on a Jamaican thread on a T&T forum? It seems whatever your ulterior motive it has backfired. ???
Anyway! Tell your Soca Warriors to drop a 6-0 cut-arse on Barbados for whatever insane reason they use to abuse one of our Jamaican sisters. Also to give T&T a firm grasp on the top spot over Guyana on goal difference.

And in case you should know I don't make bets. Never have. There are more moral ways to bet which still wouldn't make me place bets.

Jamaica gettings its arse handed to them. 4-1 in high altidude Ecuador.
T&T barely beat Bermuda today (the win I was hoping for) with their World Cup squad by only 1 goal. Jamaica scored 2 goals in a 5-2 loss against Ecuador without our World Cup players.

How many goals would T&T have scored in the same scenario?

Maybe Equador took their feet of the pedal and play some U-16s when they realized what jamaica really was.  We may not have scored 2 but we sure as hell would not have conceded 5. After all the last time 2 times a T&T team played Equador we tied 0-0 (at U-20 World Cup and last October where we tied 1-1 again at U-20.

You is kicks oui. Trying to say a 5-2 cutarse in a friendly better than a 3 points in a WCQ. Jokes
So it's much easier to equate U-20 players with senior. Oookkay! And win, lose or draw in friendlies allows our young Reggae Boyz to gain experience and Tappa fine tune the squad for next year. Nine months to experiment. ;D

I dont recall ever seeing anyone haveing issues with outsiders posting. You have only 18 posts, so I assume you are new around here, but I personally have been posting on these forums from back in the days of Mark Purcells "Free Kicks" soccer discussion board. You might have been a toddler back then.

Don't lie, there were two Trini moderators on RB board and some of your countrymen run crying for Lincoln to remove them. Plus none of the T&T posters are as ignorant, childish and lacking as knowledge as some of you are here.

You have three Jamaicans posting here on a regualar...funny that you all manage to allow just three man to get under your skins.
Make you really wonder. Doesn't it ReggaeFan. And I cannot recall a post when you spout curse words like they do at us.

Can you Reggaeboyz honestly promise us that?!  :waiting:

Can you do the same and don't blame the TTFF

You didn't answer the question!

And btw I don't visit the RBsite to post excuses if my team fails to perform as expected so why would I need to do the same?

And you're missing the point entirely! I can knock the TTFF as much as I want on this Soca Warriors Discussion board as it was designed to discuss all issues effecting T&T football!

I知 still waiting for you to give us that promise, see highlighted text above!!
I don't have to make excuses for the Reggae Boyz. From the moment they kick the ball in I laughed at the doubters who said Jamaica would only the group with only 0 to 1 point.
However, I know all the excuses that were made for your Soca Warriors when Mexico beat T&T 2-1 leaving them with 0 points in the HEX after 2 matches. One only had to be on the Soca Warriors forum after the game. ;D

You still beating around the bush and haven't made the promise!!  :waiting:
What yuh so scared of? Yuh don't really believe in your Reggaeboyz team as much as you proclaim? :liar:

This is your last chance to prove you are not a coward and are prepared to back your team making the Hex while confirming that T&T is a $hit team and was only lucky with the help of Jack to make the last 3 Hexes in a row!

I知 still waiting for you to make a simple patriotic promise, see highlighted text above once again!!
I get the gut feeling you are more nervous about your Soca Warriors than the Reggae Boyz. It's obvious that you have seen the Reggae Boyz impressive record since Tappa became our national Coach. More impressive is his record to date is better than Simoes and all before him.

(1) Tappa has won the Digicel Championship as a player and a Coach.
(2) Tappa has been to the CONCACAF Gold Cup as a player and a Coach.
(3) Tappa has been to the HEX and the World Cup.

So to answer your question: Tappa will once again reach the HEX and the 2014 World Cup as a Coach. And as RF pointed out about Pep. Tappa is only 39.

So just pray your Soca Warriors will at least do better if they reach the HEX. Because it will be a six game unbeaten World Cup qualifiers streak against the Reggae Boyz if they don't.

Do you understand English? I never asked you to make predictions about Tappa!
What I asked you for is to make a simple promise if a certain scenario bears out, that's all!
Now concentrate hard, here it is once again!

All you Reggaeboyz please promise us one thing!

If by some miracle T&T makes the Hex for another serious chance at World Cup qualification and Jamaica doesn't then please don't come back on this forum with any lame excuses for Jamaica!!

If the above Hex scenario bears out, you'll either come here out of respect to support the Soca Warriors as this is the Soca Warriors Discussion Forum or you'll don't ever come back on this forum ever!!

Can you Reggaeboyz honestly promise us that?!  :waiting:

Is this forum a socialist network. What is your problem with free speech. And I don't make promises so let the chips fall where they will.

I have no problem with free speech but you have now proven yourself to be a ReggaeCoward! :nailbiting:
If you really had faith in your team making the Hex and T&T not doing the same because we are a $hit team and don稚 have Jack to help get us an easy group anymore then you would have taken up this bet/promise at the drop of a hat!

Now I can no longer take any bragging you do about your ReggaeBoyz team seriously as you are obviously a ReggaeCoward who has very little faith in your team making the Hex despite all the bragging!

Can't blame you really after watching your team in the Gold Cup against the USA!!  :'(
:whew: That was close! After all that explaining my patriotism I thought I was being sentence to the gallows. :whistling: :whistling:

nAHH NOT YETTT...HOPEFULLY YA'LL MAKE IT TO THE hex AND AFTER PLAYING THE socawarriors...YA'LL WILL END UP INNNA DE GALLOWS! BOHW!
That's good to know since that's the only reason i am rooting for T&T to reach the HEX. Plus I don't want the HEX to be about a Mexico/USA clash alone. :bringiton:

J'aca seems to have three foci.

(i) going up in the rankings.
(ii) Being the best in the Caribbean.
(iii) Watching the Hex on TV.

They must really like TV.  ;D

VB
It also seems that T&T has three foci:
(i) Losing 2-1 to Grenada in the Digicel Championships and not qualifying for the Gold Cup.
(ii) Losing 1-0 to Grenada in the Digicel Championship and not qualifying for the Gold Cup.
(iii)Watching the Gold Cup on TV.

They must really like TV. :rotfl: :rotfl:

We like it even better, whe we see out team in the Hex.

How do you like watching our team in the Hex?

Do you have a tv?

VB
I LOVED it. Especially when Costa Rica gave the Soca Warriors a 3-2 cut-arse in your own back yard which flush all of T&T's equations of possible qualifying for the World Cup down the toilet. ;D

Eh Eh, you have electricity??  :rotfl: :rotfl:
Just make sure T&T tops their Group over Barbados, Bermuda and Guyana and try to reach the HEX again. Pummel Barbados especially since they now become Jamaica's new rivals with T&T.

VB
I LOVED it. Especially when Costa Rica gave the Soca Warriors a 3-2 cut-arse in your own back yard which flush all of T&T's equations of possible qualifying for the World Cup down the toilet. ;D

:waiting:
Can you do the same and don't blame the TTFF

The only reason I want T&T in the HEX is for poll purposes. Nothing else. ;D

yea thats the only reason i want JA there tooo...cuz even tho we not a top 40 team, and we havent been in a while we always seems to be in the hex,...Seems kinda ironic...

Maybe your next goals should be avoiding a last place finish next hex. And talking about ironies, its ironic that you have been making the hex with ease but cant finish top 4 in Caribbean...in order to get to the gold cup.
Also it's ironic that he wants T&T to be a top 40 team. Yet in two straight HEX T&T cannot go to a second World Cup before Jamaica. What's that about. ??? ;D

‎"We got careless at times and they made chances because they still have quality up front. But overall we are very satisfied that we kept the performance levels up." -Arsene Wenger 28/08/2011 after losing 8-2 to Manchester United

Imagine if they were down? would have been 18-2

Saw this today too:
From BBC: "Average age of today"s starting 11s: Man Utd 23 v Arsenal 23.6. Quality youth vs Average youth. The Arsenal myth exposed. Case Closed."

Also all the talk of shit Arsenal side etc etc.. yes it was weakened but if we told Arsenal fans that we would field a team with : De Gea, Evans, Jones, Smalling, Anderson, Cleverley and Welbeck before the season they would have licked their lips

8 f**kING 2

I quote the wrong manager. My bad. But yeah Wenger was still defending that shit. Stoke wouldn't get 8

Stoke woulda park de bus.

Arsenal kept playing.

You cannot compare the 2.

Even with the squad that played today, Aresenal would still beat Stoke and most other Prem League teams

Parkin the bus woulda been the smart thing to do. What did Arsenal gain by not doing that?
Pity maybe but not respect.

Oh yeah ah nearly forget.
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!
Because Arsenal believes in playing football instead of non-football even with a depleted team. Thus the reason for ManU not able to keep a clean sheet against the Gunners. The Gunners were not afraid to fall on the grenade.

Moderators, I respectfully request that this thread be changed to "ARSENAL BACKWARD". All in favour say "aye". Last season I commented that arsene9 and his "philosophy" (whatever his philosophy can possibly be, at this point) and men tell meh ah was talkin' shit. Watch rooney put away this penalty to reinforce my point. Arsene9 is done! He need to move on and start coaching youth teams since he like lil' boys so much.

You can farck off and die

GunnerStunner. As a diehard Gunners fan like you. Keep the faith and don't stoop to their level. It's better for all the pain to happen now after only 3 games. Rather than the past 4 seasons where we started off with a bang and ended with whimpers by April.
To all the Gunners whom have given up. KEEP THE FAITH! :bringiton: :challenge: :salute: :salute: :salute:

To Reggaefan, Jahkingdom and other Jamaican ites on this forum,
This concerns the thread and poll question: "Who boasts the strongest team in the Caribbean?"

I don't know how many of the Jamaican ites responded to the poll, but I did not. For obvious reasons.
Now one of the responses from a Trini was Jamaica is the Caribbean #1 by default because of T&T's football is in a slump. Which is crap since T&T could not beat Jamaica when we were in a slump at #116 and they were #88 the same period. However, the same Trini said that he would like to have seen Jamaica played T&T when Beenie was their coach, because T&T had a squad at the time which could have beaten all the Caribbean teams.  ???
But ever since Beenie left the job, T&T have not exactly shown the legacy that he left behind by dominating the smaller Caribbean nations, even when they had another Dutch coach Wim Rijsbergen and Colombian coach Francisco Maturana under whom which Grenada beat and drew with Jamaica in the 2008 Digicel Cup knocking T&T out of 2009 Gold Cup contention.
So the question is: now T&T have a German coach http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Otto_Pfister . Should Captain Burrell line up another friendly to settle this "dumb" default issue or wait until next year's seroius Digicel Cup Championship where they will still have their strongest squad possible.

Me! I prefer the latter. ;D

Jamaica beat up on Latapy FC and now they think they are something special? I was watching when USA WET dem with a scrape up side. Cmon Jamaicans you can't be rating up urself without beating USA...

There is nothing exciting about Jamaican football. nada nil.. zilch. We mite play now and lose but its never that boring to watch. The fact is in the last 5 years tnt has suffered. Imagine this India match was the first for us this year. We can't even say Jamaica better than tnt now because of the simple fact they did NOT play our first team since that match at the office in 93' where waves and waves of tnt attacks make the match look like a home game. Never before had i seen such a one sided match, a team defending for thier lives like that and the lucky goal they scored.

When I think of Jamaican football it takes me back to that match. Who was the more exciting entertaining team to watch? The one that defended for 90 minutes or the one that raised hell and attacked all game? I guess the football gods felt sorry for poor Jamaica that day and awarded them with luck. Because god only knows how the hell we didnt score 8 on them that day.
Tell you what Jamaicans learn to play the game, there is a reason why tnt is over there trying to help you out with grassroots. Get your own people certified etc and do your own thing so that tnt don't have to award you "big pros" that never beat usa in a game that counts.. with our time and money.

So with that one match a decade ago you still believe Jamaicans haven't learn to play the game. Yet you have more Jamaican Reggae Boyz playing overseas than Trinis. Jamaica with no grassroots programme. ???
And it was Whitmore FC that beat up on Latapy FC. Two former national players for their nations. So don't try and insinuate as if Jamaica's coach was foreign.

Its real disappointing seeing these results on a Soca Warriors Forum.

First Ja posters
Then a Ja thread
Now Ja stronger than TnT according to predominantly Trinbagonians on their own forum  ???

There is no way that Ja has a stronger team.  Yes they win more lately and had our number, BUT, they are not a stronger team...

Put our boys on point and we go hear a different tune...

You only see these kinda results on Trinbagonian forum....
(then again 2 man saying Martinique)

Reality check required! Go here: http://www.televisionjamaica.com/vd-11699-SPORTSCOMMENTARYAUGUST720.aspx

Nah ReggaePro,
You bringing a jamaican link on here telling me I need a reality check?
lol

Yes call me Reggaepro, I don't mind at all! Did you know that a Trinidadian called Lynn Taitt from my home town in San Fernando helped to develop rock steady in Jamaica in the early 60's which lead to the development of reggae music?!

See this link & learn some reggae history: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lynn_Taitt

And yes laugh at yuhself as you stick yuh head in the sand, just hope you doh swallow too much sand! Lol!

I posted that link to help folks here like yourself understand what Jamaicans generally think about the current state of T&T football!

I fully understand that it is a bitter pill to swallow but it is exactly the pill that some of allyuh here who fooling allyuh self need to get a wake up call!

Right now the Jamaicans have a winning record over us and full bragging rights as the undisputed number one Caribbean team so let them brag once they not lying and presenting the facts!!

When we sort out our federation and start beating the Jamaicans when & wherever we meet them on the field then we will automatically shut them up and have full bragging rights over them again!!

In the meantime let痴 stop acting like some thin skin sissies and allow them to brag as much as they wish provided they are presenting the fact especially regarding the present!!!
Yeah! I'm not a big music fan. :yawning:
Talk to me about football.

Nah ReggaePro,
You bringing a jamaican link on here telling me I need a reality check?
lol

So the reality of T&T not beating Jamaica in 7 match ups since May 17, 2001 needs a link. Alright. Since you use a Jamaican link for a reality check. Let me use a T&T link:

http://www.socawarriors.net/mens-senior-team/senior-team-news/fixtures-results.html

What any of this have to do with my point to Socapro?  And when did I use a Jamaican link?

Anyway, say what allyuh want, each entitled to their own opinion.  Mine is simple, T&T possess far superior talent and players when the discussion of football is present in the region.  That cannot be argued.  That is fact.
However with a mismanaged adminstration we are allowing minnows to believe they have a better team.  They playing better now, but do NOT have a better team.  Playing India was a good move, play a small team, put 3 on dem, instill some confidence and get it rolling.

So then according to some of the arguments logic on this thread, Paraguay is a stronger team than Brazil.
Does this have anything to do with T&T beating India 3-0 on Sunday. Classic. ;D
It was June 26, 2010 when T&T had spanked Antigua & Barbuda. Many Trinis went on a high and boasted, "Bring on Jamaica and we will give them the same cut-arse by adding two goals and make it six."
On match day two days later after Jamaica scored the first goal on 7 minutes. The whole pack stadium and parking lot was stunned. Needless to say, Jamaica easily won 3-1. 8)

Absolute nonsense.  So if people ran a poll asking which team was the best in CONCACAF..peeps here should say T&T?  Steups!

Regardless of the reason or reasons WHY Jamaica has had our number over the past 15 years or so is moot!

They have been the better team period!

They made it as CFU chmps twice over us, we did not even make it out the group stages!

They played in teh CONCAF Gold Cup we did not even make it there.

What is the point of this useless question?

They are better and in FACT the best in the Caribbean!
We've made it to the hex twice over them!

we've played the the CCL twice and they did not! and that's what you call ah better team??

bredder, the only reason dem shining so much is bc we have real muddafackers running our federation, i sincerely believe that we have far more talent than them, but they are better organized than us @ the moment.

for the sake of comparisons i would really like to see our federation make ah serious effort towards brazil bc i want tuh meet jamaica in the hex so bad with our best players well prepared under coach Pfister. then we'll settle this ting once and for all.

PS: ah wanted to meet them under beenie as well, but that never materialized. ah know if we meet and beat JA in the hex, there will be many excuses instead of congratulatory exchanges.

fack that, i still maintain that they JA are the better team right now, but only "by the fault"!
WOW! A true blinded T&T patriot who will spin anything to make himself feel better.
Jamaican clubs don't see a financial benefit in playing in a futile competition like the CCL where the prize is a just shiny trophy.
Keep singing about T&T being in the HEX more times than Jamaica. Chances T&T have had to actually qualify for a second World Cup over the Reggae Boyz. I truly can't wait to hear more about the HEX when Jamaica qualifies for another World Cup.
And since T&T has never beaten Jamaica in four World Cup qualifiers. I really wanted Jamaica to play T&T with "Beenie" as their coach. Since Jamaica was worst at the time with clueless Creston Boxhill leading the JFF.
