Should have had a pen, had a decent half and Cardiff showing some signs of scoring...Noone is a tricky player.

We leaving it late in the transfer window and all the players we are linked to are falling by the wayside, not looking good.

Here's to a fresh start kj. Leave the nonsense at Stoke on Trent and enjoy the sights and sounds of Cardiff.  :beermug:

Never been to Cardiff, have you  ;D

Lol...Actually, I have. Its not Bath by anymeans but it can hold its own.

He has now blown up any bridges leading to Stoke:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/stoke-city/10572746/Kenwyne-Jones-set-to-call-in-the-Professional-Footballers-Association-to-resolve-his-row-with-Stoke-City.html

Why HE blow up bridges. What should he do, just sit there and let them just advantage him. The guy feels as though the punishment wasn't fair, so he went to the people that suppose to advise him. See what Hughes saying that he has never seen anything like this in his life. Because KJ suppose to smile and nod. If he had done something more rash, it would have been another 3rd world lazy mentality.  But this is what he should do, right
What should he do? Act like a professional. Granted, I don't know what is going on behind the scenes and (it could be probable) that he is contracted to play a certain number of games or a number of other reasons but he is looking bad in the court of public opinion and it could influence other teams viewing him..

Just a opinion..

I thought it was strange for this to happen now and the move certainly would burn any bridges remaining with few supports at Stoke. In addition, considering a similar case has happened previously, a potential club may think that this can happen to them as well. Damage control is needed.

Nice win for the Gooners! This had draw written all over it and it was Bendtner...WTH?!?! and he pulled a calf muscle. Nice finish by Walcott for the 2nd. one as well.

Looks like Jones will be leaving soon. Not a single game during the busy period. Pennant looked like he played a striker role when he came on today, based on the glimpse I saw. Stoke looked like they dropped 2 points today.

A week to forget. City got some calls in their favour but were the better team overall. Time to regroup and take chelsea at home.

Again, he was an unused sub today. Crouch is playing well so it is hard to justify taking off a man who is in form. It does not look good at the moment.

Does scoring a goal equals playing well? Cause other than the goal Crouch really ain't do anything. Can't say ah man not playing well if he's not getting a look.

Stoke don't score often...if at all. Crouch is where he needs to be to put in headers and tap ins. Yuh can't take him off if he is scoring.

As for Jones, we will see what happens come January.

The CH played well and everyone is talking on the field and not leaving it for chance. This boy Ramsey making me eat crow! He is having a breakout season and Giroud is making his presence felt (even when he is not scoring). However, we need another striker to take the load off, Bendtener has never cut it and never will!

Great win for the Gunners!

It's almost as though he's talking himself out of stoke. He had an alright game today but the folks are afterward him regardless.

I am not a Ramsey fan and have stated he should be traded. However, he is one of the in form players and looks like he is finally becoming the player Wenger knew he can become. May it continue but I am not holding out on it.

Still not a Ramsey fan?

Nah dred but I am glad for him cause, at the end of the day, Arsenal benefits  :)

Stoke playing some decent football courtesy of Hughes and KJ is playing with a renew sense of confidence. He was rumored to go to a team in Russia (or Turkey) so it looked like no PL team was looking his way (I could be wrong). Best he stay where his bread is buttered.

By far, the best away performance by Stoke in a long time and its the first back to back wins in a while (I think). KJ is making the best of his opportunity with his two starts and may it continue. The 'donkey' that is Walters works his sock off and will be first on the team sheets because of effort and work rate. However, if he was replaced by a Darren Bent or Jermaine Defoe type player to play alongside KJ, there will be goals galore.

Wow, well ok, then those of us affected by the coup should be awarded as well. Maybe we all should march and or have a minute silence nationwide on the exact time that insurrection took place.

I am looking forward to the boys play again, be it friendly or otherwise. The chemistry was developing from a defensive stance and we were stringing a few, quick passes, spreading the field and using speed. We will need a midfielder with some craft that can change the complexion of a game but I like where we are going as a team.

59
Cyrus and JMW stood out for me. KJ, Glen, Boucaud and Molino had great games as well.
