The first shot he had shoulda been a goal, I hoped he would go high but the keeper made a good save. 2nd was a little more difficult and the attempted lob was way off. He coulda pull it back for the runner he had in the middle.
He actually got a vital touch for the 2nd goal, the defender touched it first onto Levi foot then it went to Gacinovic.
I though he had a couple good moments, he went past 2 men and got fouled, yellow for the defender, and his movement off the ball for those 2 early shots was excellent. For a first game back it was decent.

He got a block in but the highlights failed to capture him sprinting even once. Must be a conspiracy to make him look bad. The chance for groningen at 80 mins was some well-crafted jogging back boy, with 2 free opponents ahead of him. He knew they wasn't goin and score.

What an amazing crowd for a reserves game

Looks like Levi will not play vs Brighton this week, I'm very disappointed. He didn't train with the team today so he will not be recovered in time. I hope he is better soon.

Somebody need to shackle dem two Salva men who running through the middle, Moreno and Roldan. Plenty positives from us, our physical play is working well in attack. We just have to watch out for dem through balls and runs through the middle. Keeper need to hold dem high balls please. Focus boys

We sit back and allow possession too much, Curacao was allowed to complete passes over and over again. That first half was ugly. Several times Daniel Phillip was the only one pressing quickly which does not work unless others join in. Rampersad is good, he solid and physical. Hackshaw still have a belly.
Our wing play through Auvray and Telfer is decent, but since we playing the inverted wingers on each side I would expect more support from the wing backs in overlapping runs and central midfielders to play 1-2s off of. We have no attack through the middle.
In this game like in the gold cup I feel like a lot of players playing to not get tired; fraid to commit to runs because it's a long run back if we lose possession.
Congrats to James on his goal, looks like he had a chance for a second as well.

AEK: Livai Gassia is in for the rematch with Antwerp

AEK goes fully armed to the rematch with Antwerp (30/08, 22:00, COSMOTE Sport 2 and Live SPORT24 ) with the aim of qualifying for the Champions League groups , as Matias Almeida took Levia Garcia with him.

The 25-year-old forward from Trinidad and Tobago followed a special program in the last training session before the match against the Belgians and his availability will depend until the last minute. Cican Stankovic, who trained at full speed for the second training session in a row, is also expected

Abysmal, we are a shadow of what we used to be. I guess we just don't have the personnel out there, plus injuries. It's been very disappointing for me.

Credit to the Jammies who flying at a high level.

AEK were beaten by Antwerp in Belgium and will look for a turnaround in New Philadelphia with Matias Almeida getting some good news on Wednesday .

The tests to which Levia Garcia was submitted showed that he has nothing serious, since according to the diagnosis he has a pull in the quadriceps

That means the Trinidad and Tobago striker will be racing to be fit for the second leg against Antwerp next Wednesday (30/08).

The data on the position of the forward against Panseraikos
At the same time, Levia Garcia will sit out Saturday's match against Panserraikos (26/08, 21.30). In this matchup, Almeida's options are terribly limited.

Levi started and had a few good chances but unfortunately hurt himself on that last shot. He off in the 1st half. Hopefully he's back for the 2nd leg.

Levi got an assist in the first leg. Today he missed a penalty in the 10th minute of added time but luckily the highest paid aek man Vida put in the rebound for them to draw and win the tie.

In my book if he waited until after the qualifiers he would be better placed to make a decision and to bargain. He had no worries about aek appreciating his value. They know they very fortunate to have him. He's not even the highest paid at the club. Vida gets 1.8 mil a year.
The club come out the best in this situation.
I wonder what the buy out clause is

Until 2028? 1 mil when RC Lens willing to pay 2.5 a year? What is goin on. Please tell me this was strategic and not stupid.
Was this some way to void the agreement with Beitar?

I eh watch this one but he is staunchly against immigration from Caribbean countries, he says black Caribbean folks take away resources from what he calls "foundational African Americans".

He scored 1 great shot but missed a penalty

I hope this report saying he signed a new contract is not true. Why not wait until after the ucl qualifiers?

Levi may have to wait until they play their uefa CL qualifiers. The club up the asking price to 30 mil and probably want to ensure aek qualify before considering selling. Without Levi, their chances of qualifying take a hit. Levi would still be eligible to play in the group stage for another club.
It would be interesting if aek end up playing lens whether he moves there or not.

I read an article saying that Lens still want Levi but not willing to wait after Aug 15 which is the last day of ucl playoffs.
