« on: September 12, 2008, 02:30:22 PM »oh damn i didnt think jack would that far and mention de 2002 world cup. head for de hills...de floodgates about to open!!
He only makin heself look even more stupid since is public record that Keane was sent home as opposed to "turning his back." Add the fact that none of it was done in public and only became news when McCarthy and a few players spoke to the media about it. Jack is ah grade A clong!!
need to correct you on that nonsense about public record that Keane was sent home as if he was some innocent victim in the matter.
He was sent home after he did the unthinkable and verbally abused the Irish manager on the eve of the World Cup.
The general consensus is that unleashing like that on his manager and disregarding his teammates and the Irish world cup campaign in the process is tantamount to turning his back on his country..
That in fact is public record...
Carry on....
Boy gun from here eh, you feel you schoolin somebody aought?! He as a senior member of his team stood up to the manager (in his oh so special way) and it's not like it was an out of character episode either. RK always been hot tempered, its only noteable because of when it occured. Nevertheless he didn't say F away wid allyuh an allyuh shit I gone. He was asked/ told to leave so no matter what it is public record that he was sent home. Tantamount my ass!! If you say he's tactless ok but he stood up (again) in his own way and it wasn't appreciated. Despite the episode if he was kept on the team and called upon neither of us could say what he would have done (I believe he would have gone out and do what he did as usual on the pitch). So don't connect your and others theory to facts to achieve the notion that he turn he back.
I sure it ha rell people who if Stern get call and bench like tallest and decide cuss wey Pacho eh go vex. To the outside world it go look like he turn he back too wouldn't it?
