If there is a positive to takeaway, based on the highlights, it would appear our defense was up to the challenge. There were hardly any clear cut opportunities from either inside or outside the box in the clips. Maybe someone who actually watched can better assess.

Comfortably? I very much doubt, but I can see them competing. I think is a slightly downward move, but it doesn't mean that it isn't a good move for him all things considered.

Watch a few games and I bet yuh think different. In form Sounders beating most of those teams with no problem

Lateral move. Hope he get improved wages as a result nonetheless

Was it a lateral move when he went n the other direction?

To me yeah. I think Sounders could compete with and beat many of those Bundisliga teams comfortably. MLS and Bundisliga 2 on par, in fact MLS might just be better.

Again our defending to be blunt,is shyte, and in total agreement with the post above,we cyah hold a ball for 5 seconds.Honduras Under 17 are much more mature than ours.Let's be honest and say our home grown coaches are not what we need,we need foreign, full 'rass clart' stop.I am wondering if we are not wasting resources on these Under 17 and even under 19s,at 17 we still like 12 year olds, just listen to how we talk compared to foreigners.

That is shit talk. No warm up games whatsoever but you expect them to cope and compete in every game? That is Stern and KJ fault? You think they can teach proper defensive composure, positioning, and awareness with no matches to see how well players are adapting? You think competition is when kinks get ironed out? Steups! Even a foreign coach would be screwed in this set up so stop with dat dotish talk and place blame where it belongs on the federation that isn't doing anything! You ready to cast away our next generation of ballers for something that they have no control over? The difference between what they are accustomed to and international football is night and day. Yet somehow you want them to be better than the environment they being brought up in? I just doesn't understand these rants nah smh.

Don't know if I'm in the minority or not but to me Tim Kee did a lot with very little and helped brought our programmes back to life. So for me I have no opposition to a return of RTK. I used to read the complaints about him wondering if people were really considering the hurdles he had to doing his job.

Kenwyne Jones should have never retired, we don't have a strong or true center forward ........

Never miss the water til the well run dry! All these years people dogged KJ and now we actually missing his presence. What ever happened to Botswain who was supposed to be of a similar mold but supposedly more tools in the box?

Calm yourself down it's a valid question. You working hard, playing through the U16, U18, U20, and spying a spot on the NT, but it taken by someone who kept turning down the honour, it's a bit galling to say the least. I understand the opposite view - players earn their scratch over a very short period of time (relatively) and they have to look out for themselves - if another National Team will give them more exposure so be it. I'm sympathetic to that position, but don't pretend there's no alternate reading of it though and don't get your panties in a twist when the question is asked.

I am very calm. 1st thing first save dat macomehman talk, badman doh wear panty so make that the last reference to dat dotish saying!  Secondly, given your example here, at what age did the turning down start, 8 years old?  If a spot anyone been eyeing gets taken by someone playing at a higher level then they have 2 choices to pick from. Be resentful of that person whos radar yuh not registering on and has simply been going about their business. Or in the alternative, work on improving oneself. It isn't much different than in school days a new yute transfer in and take someone else spot because they more skilled. The lesson here is doh count egg in fowl bottom. Spying on a spot? steups, dan talk ting with sense eh!

DeLeon has been turning down the T&T team down for years, why the change in 2016? He realised he not getting into the USA team? I get that his quality would improve the squad, but it's a bit of a slap in the face of players who are actually dedicated to the national team.

That is asshole talk! Why somehow we expect players who born in nations with far better chances to play on bigger stages to want to choose T&T first? If they have a chance at their nation of birth squad why would/should they not want to exhaust that first?  Like allyuh on drugs or something oui. Steups. Playing for this shit show does nothing to improve player's profiles. If at some point a player has a change of heart, whether thru failure to make their national squad or otherwise, as long as they can benefit our program we should take a look.

I think Z Vanes and F Maturana was good.

Once DL gives a player like N Lewis who is riding pine in the USL playing time he has shown that he does not know what he is doing and he should be fired all the players who name I called should be given playing time.

Wait, so you championing Maturana who gave Hyland among others numerous caps while "unattached" but taking issue with DL capping Lewis?.  How is it not worse to call up players not signed to any club at all than calling up Lewis who is attached to a club and practicing within a structured football environment?

For a week now I have wanted to make a post, what ever happened to Trinity and Tranquil after their glory years in the 70s.

Trinity made it to the N. Zone Finals in 1980 in an aborted season.

Forty plus years is a helluva thing.

Mucurapo is not that big. So where exactly is Mucruapo East??

Trinity Moka won the North intercol a couple years ago. This is the same team int he video here defeating East Mucurapo.

I believe the Senior Comprehensives have all been adjustedin their setup(possibly have form 6's now and rebranded)
East Mucurapo is what you would have known as Mucurapo Snr. Comp.

Success happens in waves, even at the highest level of international and club football.
Right now the South zone is doing well with Pres and Naps being very consistent and Benedict's having a rejuvenated season.

Many of the north teams are in rebuild mode it seems.
But the SSFL mgmt and policies need re-evaluation. To improve and grow the existing product

In my day Mucurapo Jr/Sr. was on the same lot of land, right across from Fatima.

I findi it hard to believe they would rename two schools on the same lot so I guessing East and West are in different locations.

VB

yuh probably guessing wrong. Is Trini we talking bout. I willing to bet MJS is in fact Mucurapo Wast

(Whatever Misir said drew a sharp and prompt rebuke by the judge).

Justice Mohammed: The question does not arise.

(Misir appeared to mumble an apology before trying a different line).

Misir: Is there any record that…

Justice Mohammed: Don’t try that!

Misir: Alright.

It was always an odd move to me. I get that is RM and it hard to resist but, given the departure of CR and no suitable replacement anyone with sense would have expected some drop off. RM aside, you spend all this time molding the NT and abandon it at the doorstep of the WC? I want to believe that how the NT played was a reflection of him (Lopetegui) and if that is the case one way or the other his rep as coach was not going to improve based on performance.
