Since when players like Molino or Cyrus could influence a dressing room? We really giving these players more props than they deserve.  :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

In what country/club can a player of Molino's or Cryrus' "pedigree" cause a coach to lose his wuk. Steupss...If that really is the case then we in deeper mess than we realise

Unless of course you are saying that the PNM needs to pay special attention to football? If that is what you are saying then I can't help you there. I don't think the government, pnm or otherwise have any special interest in any one particular sport that warrants its added attention and interest.

Google is your friend sir. Go check the national budget and see how much was given for sports etc and then research some more and see how much was given to ttfa. It shouldn't be that hard.

Man City just paid £47.5 million for 22 year old John Stones. I don't think they care to make bargains.

Again his age is everything in this. MLS is a considered a lower league. Any player coming from there would be seen as inferior and would need to make major improvements in order to cut it in any first and second leagues in europe. They not gonna "gamble" on a guy whose only exposure has been mls and who is already over 25. This isn't about "gambling".

He will be 26 soon. At 25 Ozil had been signed by Arsenal having already played for such teams as Schalke, Werder Bremen and Real Madrid and having made over 50 caps for Germany in a world cup and euro cup. Age is everything.

His 5-7 years of top flight football is irrelevant. Any move to a european club isn't going to be to a 'top flight" club. MLS just isn't on the radar for major european clubs looking for talent. There are too many available options right in europe.

Look in most quarters mls just isn't viewed as a serious league for development and talent etc.

He's valued at 300 thousand euros on transfermarket.com.....When last clubs like Man City pay those sort of pennies for a player. Let's keep with reality here fellas. Not gonna happen. MLS is not taken seriously in europe. Plus the added complication of work permit etc. It just not gonna happen. At 25+ he is already to old to make a move to a top epl team from mls. Had he been 16-19 then he would have had a chance.

No "top 6" team in a major european league is even considering a 25+ year old mls player. :bs: :bs:

So yuh fire Hart who was building something for the last couple of years after poor results from two traditionally difficult teams and you hire a thing. A thing who last "coached" Bangladesh..Alluh sure trinis eh allergic to common sense? I honestly feel something in the water in this land not right. I does feel strange in trini inno but when I go away I does be ok. I feel is something in air.

Contro....Is not just football the "locals" failing at. Is basically every aspect of life in Trinidad. Hence the need for "who you know" and "links" in order to get things in sweet tnt. All of that just to protect the mediocrity that everyone know that they encourage but happy to benefit from. Even Angostura failing and in bobol.

Is not bout always doing things right...Is about decision making and being disciplined. These are not teenagers on their first overseas trip etc. These are hard back seasoned professionals. I rather you tell me they sneak away to go lay pipe at various locations. A Boat Cruise? Really....HAHAHAHA

Mario Balotelli broke curfew and was fined a week's wages of 150,000 pounds. The players on that list could retire early 10 times over and still enjoy comfortable lives. Those in Trinidad don't have that luxury. At 25+, they not even knocking on a door to Europe. So if they want to go and risks their livelihood and reputation for a "boat ride" hats off to them. I hope they have a decent pension plan to fall back on cause with that set of thinking I'm sure they lacking education.

My beef not with the coaching staff...I think the punishment was appropriate. I am really disappointed in the players' immaturity though...They too old to be behaving like this. We need to see if there is a correlation between lack of intelligence and this type of behaviour.

Nothing is more pathetic than having to stand outside their door to ensure that they don't break camp to go to a boat cruise. The sad thing about it is that most of them are one bad season away from ending back up in the Pro League. Didn't Jones get fined a couple years ago for playing in a minor league whilst contracted for W Connection. These guys are over 25 years old. That is olddddddddd

This still happening? For a f**king boat cruise? Men risking it all for a boat cruise? Men didn't sneak out to go check the gf or pregnant wife but to go on a boat lime? A big hard back 25+ year old footballer can't do without a boat cruise 2 days before a qualifier? You sneaking out at 25 years old to go party? We still calling these men "young". Pulisic at 17 years old make them boys look like amateurs. All those boys on tnt team wish hey could switch places with Pulisic and play for a big German team. We still don't understand discipline. Why are some people encouraging or downplaying this. What if there was an incident on the boat cruise resulting in an injury or something. How does insurance work with things like that. Those things not always safe. Does have fight and shooting after at times. Didn't a national player get shot at home after coming home from one? Those boys from carenage don't always keep the best company and they move in a group. You may have had nothing to do with anything but end up in the cross fire. SMH

Yeah but what does the parents knowing that their youth involved with crime has to do with our lack of enforcement for simple criminal offenses. What about the duty of the state to enforce the law. Why are you comfortable with placing all blame on the shoulders of the parents and very little on the state's failure to protect its innocent citizens. I guess the parents of terrorists should be blamed for terrorism according to your logic.

Sando, countries like the UK have more incidences of youth delinquency and pregnancy etc. The family structure and community is essentially broken over there. How come they are not riddled with crime like us. How many of our criminals are chronic repeat offenders. How many criminals who are killed had outstanding warrants or matters before the court? Steups

You talking as if most of these things lead to successful convictions. What world you living pal...But I guess you really don't live here so is happy pappy. What does posting soldiers up in laventille do? They have been posted before. It's all just window dressings. Failed politicians with failed initiatives. They don't have the testicular fortitude to do what is necessary at this point.

Bro, what you are suggesting is a long term plan for crime. If I am not mistaken what you are talking about is what most governments focused on in the first place. There is a lot of social services etc that is there and is being utilised to decrease crime. For whatever reason it not working..This whole talk about "crime culture" is foolishness. You can't claim to have a "culture of crime" in a country with a deplorable crime detection and conviction rate. Get real

According to Sando we need to find some these people and find out what went wrong...What they had for breakfast? Did they have regular access to the 5 food groups..All these murders occuring for years and we don't even know if some are being committed by serial killers.
That culture of crime is bs...Too much talk does take place in this country. Wayyy too much talk.

Law enforcement will arrest criminals, Courts can prosecute criminals, however it is society that BREED criminals. So a society with a CRIME CULTURE will continue to breed criminals.

You do realise that if you do the first 2 effectively then the last one will essentially be impossible to create right.

You're a sad apologist....That is your problem...Family this and family that? What does that have to do with law enforcement's failure to effectively apprehend and prosecute said individual before he becomes a menace to society? Where the family and community fails the state needs to come intervene. The state has been failing in that regard.

Seems like you are an apologists for the breakdown in family and community that started this whole crime culture in T&T. Not once i have said law enforcement and judicial system need not to be enhanced and improved BUT what you fail to see once the culture of crime exist in the communities you will continue to breed violence and criminals, which leads to robberies and murders. Now you can choose to swallow the truth painfully or easily. If you want to swallow it easily then you should look within the communities and ask yourself what has been the social issues for years?
.

I hope you do realise that "breakdown" happened all the way back in slavery days....carry on goldfish
