Leh we get real. The SSFL lack proper structure and time to preapre our youth footballers for the international game. They play too much in too short a period of time, and a lot of the coaches are not fit for that level. The SSFL is a moribund league.

Basically...Think the SSFL just prepare them for future scholarships and academic opportunities more than the professional scene..Have something to put on uh college application nah...

I mite sound ignorant but I feel we lookin at a couple of years into the wilderness with our youth football..We don't have the structure or finances to finance club youth football and like every year the SSFL on a decline...I honestly feel that sports on the whole is on a downslide probably with the exception of cricket..

Was I alseep when Trinidad and Tobago became a footballing powerhouse?...I really can't remember when I was awake that we had a HUGE talent pool to choose from...Was that around the Fifa 2006 World CUp because i was awake for that...2 unattached players?/..What so wrong with that? Since when we have players signing contracts since they're 17 and turning professionals?

I think motivation comes in may ways...Money, glory and most important family. Players who have a serious family life like wife and kids are more settled and focus. Cause they doing it not for themselves but also to provide for their family..It's understandable because most ppl don't see football for what it is...a JOB for the persons involved and just entertainment for us couch potatoes..They're getting paid to put on a show, we're just attending...
