 In the seventies I was a ball boy for Chelsea/Southhampton, Mexico/TT. I also saw Nautico, St. Mirren and Hull City.  In the sixties the old folks talked about the Brazilian school boys. They use to come. But things change. They can get more money in the US or Asia.

The other factor is Jack. What all yuh want me to say. He in everything.  Don't blame the gov't. They can do so much for football. If you all want greater gov't participation, then expect more political interference. There are other sports than need just as much assistance. Women sports in particular. T&T women have not won an Olimpic medal as yet. Women football does get shaft with ease. Women's netball??? Very sad. Field hockey. Hanging in there. I kind of straying off the topic.

Competition is not the problem. Money is the magic word. They can get more money elsewhere

All this thing about Fifa sanctioned tournament and insignificant tournament don't mean crap if you good, you good . If a team wants you they will find a way to sign you. Free enterprise. Capitalism and hipocracy work hand in hand. The two young guys who sign contract are on their way to prosperity(hopefully).  I am sure there are scouts  in TT right now. Jack and his people are always scouting for talent.  Mike Berry scouting. And that is the c team.  Every player in this tournament want to be contacted to go abroad. If the price is right. They gone.

I can't understand you guys. All you want to boo!! Jabloteh. They have supplied and will continue to supply TT with good players. I know Fenwick is eccentric, but Jab and co. have a point. It work out to the betterment not detriment of TT. A bigger pool of players with some international experience. Right now Jab, JW, AIA and NE are the foundations of TT club football. They putting lots of money to sustain these players livelyhood.. Give them the benefit of doubt. After TT win The cup, it would be great if Jab or JW qualify to play in Concacaf. Next year Jack team in it. There will be no conflicts with JP.

                                                  I agree there was no clear cut favorites, especially with the team TT has on the field. I rather it be that way, so that them boys will have to be on the alert and can't take anything for granted. They played a good second game, but the verdict is still out.

                                  Dreamer, you make a lot of good points. At least, most of what you said is true. But coming back to Denzil, I really don't know what to say about him. The guys on the board are not impressed with his performance, but someone says he is good to go to premier league. Then some say he should not be the captain. Then somebaody say he plaled superb. I  have to see that game to form my own opinion. I have no problem with him trying to be like Yorke. Who else should he emulate? We own homeboy. Eventually he will develop his own style. I agree he gets push off the ball to easily. Weight-room is the answer for that.

It good to see that talent is being  developed. The verdict is still out, but at least something positive is happening in that respective.

Club vs country debate. In this case I supported the clubs. Jack screwed up everything. The clubs have always allowed their players to play for the T&T. But these guys have a tournament that is equally important. If Jab or JW win Concacaf by some fluke they playing Japan in December. The club tournament should have ended. But it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. All this thing about, you only have a chance to play overseas if you play so much games for the national is not entirely true. Cornel was playing with Jabloteh when he was drafted. Look if you good and a team want you, they will find a way. England is not the only place to play football. Some of the players may have to be prepared to learn french, spanish, dutch, russian to ply their trade. If they really hungry, England cannot be their comfort zone.

                       I just read that Guad. has Joclyn Angloma on the their team. He played right back for France an couple years ago. He was a good player. He played a good while for Valencia(I think) in Spain. He is about late 30's now.

Good Evening,
                       Martinique  french Guyana,and Quadeloupe are French departments. The people are French citizens. They can play for france. They do get technical support from Paris and have had  decent sport facilities long before T&T. Any French West Indian who show potential in any sport will be sent to Paris.

                        It seems that everyone is worried about this team. but I keep stating that the new guys must cut teeth sometime. Sooner than later. Just hope those guys are focus and play with heart. the other thing about the locals not up to standard. That maybe true, but with the exception of DWight, Shaka, Chris, Latas, everyone else has played in the PFL at some point or another. So those agents(raiders) must see something we don't. MONEY!!!!

I think John Williams should try and cultivate a following in Chaguanas, Couva, Caroni , etc. Try and get his base support from Central first. But He runs his organization welll. I am impressed the way he runs his team. Jab, J. Public and AIA are also well organized. When you see how disorganized things are in T&T, the proleague  outfits are not that bad. They need fan support, "bottom in the seats".  One thing I think Connection should try is to encourage young East Indian boys to try out with the youth teams. There may be  "diamonds in the rough". You can never tell until you try. All the team should make an attempt cultivate young talents from the entire community.

Hello Coop, Guys,
                         It seems that some guys starting to panic about the make up of the team. When should the young and inexperience play for T&T. We hardly have friendly internationals. This is the ideal games for them. If we don't make it. We just do'nt make it, as painful as it is. Just back to the drawing board. You if these guys were to win this tournament, the pro scouts might sign some of them and the same club/country scenario will happen when is time for international friendlies and qualification.
