Gents give thanks, for all that you have achieved thus far.

Thank you to all those who got us to where we are today, including past coaches, players and staff.

It is a journey, and while we are not at our best, we are good enough to beat all the opponents put before us. Mexico will feel the hurt come saturday.

To all the players realise this...you are special, you are representing all of us in the diaspora and here at home.

Those in the stands who travelled far and wide and who spent their hard earned money and take pressure to see you, all they want is repayment in effort and commitment...which is why alyuh does get cuss when alyuh pull stones.

While it may be war on the field, dont feel those in the stands ent taking pressure too from the opposing fans.

Lastly, things home ent nice...its plenty death, suffering, corruption, Jack vs Kamla and ketch arse. Even those who have money...they taking real pressure, either to get the wealth, maintain what they have or they living in fear from bandits.

The 90 minutes you guys are on the field, give us an escape and when victorious a moment of joy to savor. You guys are the small blessing to help us forget the pressure down here and we appreciate every one of you. Thank you again for all your efforts and may you continue to be a source of joy and pride to your nation.

Williams get the same goal in he arse vs Cuba in d final

Dem men doh learn or wha...and worse yet the commentator call him out, he lie down like a bake instead of trying to pop up and make the second save. He sprawl out like a crapaud.

Also Carlos pointing and shadowing instead of putting in the tackle.

We playing better...we shut out Haiti. We looking ok, just a sub to make in d center of the field and we go be set

We could beat this side

FS,

Just a few things about yesterday...

1) Scalpers were selling tickets @ $10 and $20 dollars outside the gate. It was a white card with the central fc logo, not sure if these guys got them complmentary or what. But I paid my $30 at the door.

2) No vendors  :( ??? I really could have done with a pie or a stag. Even a water...eventually a corn soup man did show up, but a little refreshment would have been nice given the time of the game.

3) I really enjoyed that game, the quality by both teams were good and when the visitors stepped up the intensity the pace of the game increased. Good technique, control passing and action by both teams.

4) I also enjoyed Walsalls tackling and defending...very clean game, good winning of the ball and fair robust tackles.

5) I got a newspaper of some sort, a monthly thing with good articles about players and our national team. Good initiative.

6) Walsall had people distributing jersey kits, pennants and flags to children in the stands...very nice marketing move.

7) Noisemakers were a good addition and the "Central" chant was a surprise...people buy in once action happens and somebody starts it.

8) Good turnout of youths/parents and a family oriented crowd.

9) The Scoreboard was on and working...yes we got replays of the action.

All in all FS a great game and good initiative, those who were not there missed out big time.

Give thanks for the point...

Improvements noted in all areas of the field.

Haiti will run hard but we will beat them off experience like Honduras.

If Honduras wraps up the next match, I am hoping they field a reserve team when they play us and we catch them.

Again people keep your expectations low...and you will seldom be disappointed.

Article from Walsall side.

I think once our players show their worth they can get signed. Article says at least 5 of them will be allowed to train with Walsall.

I know we shouldn't rain on Central FC parade as they did all the work to bring Walsall.

But let the TTFF pelt some change behind them, pay Central FC some $$$ and the Pro League and the game in the HC change it to T&T vs Walsall.

T&T gets a good friendly against competent opponents who would play at a good pace. Players get scouted and they have the caps. Hart gets to work out some tactics and formations....and its a good marketing ploy to see the rebranded T&T in action under new coach and new kit.

Let them sell jersey like wind, let them pass out info...I mean it is just a opportunity right there for the taking.

But...let them pay Central FC all that is due to them. Central should also play hard ball and jam them for every cent.

Soca Pro,

What about Kes in 2011 the album with Wotless kinda brought about a techno feel to soca and now most tunes are going that way.

1st Klase I think was the producer with come gyal.

Then you had wine and hush/precision wine in 2012.

Machel's music then changed as well listen to Fog...it is a dance tune.

Then we have differentology with Bunji...that is a techno tune essentially.

I think from 2011-now they realise dance/trance music is the way to go and they jump on that train...moving away from the live band traditional calypso music.

But yuh see the spread yuh hands and leggo tune (Blaxx)...that is a nice riddim. Showing that it can be done once yuh put a lil effort into it.

Birchy position in the starting 11 done book!  ;D

And Theobold  ;D

But we really reach a new low...honestly we was never so shitty, never ever....none of the local coaches before, even interim men from Clayton Morris,Ron la, KJ, Muhummed Isa, Najjar, Edgar Vidale, nobody ...not even Corneal had the team looking and playing shitty so.

In fact looking at that statement...Hutson and Shabbaz cyar be compared to them fellas no way no how. They not in that coaching league.

I would even say the era during the blacklist was worse than this for the players, and under latapy tenure when we ent make Gold Cup as players were not paid etc and men was stranded abroad and ting.

But even then we didnt look bad so when men step on the field.

The fact is and remains...this crop of players not good. Beenhaker cyar help dem.

It come like yuh trying to cook a pelau...the chicken spoil and d rice have weevil (aging stars), the (youths and pfl players) come like water down coconut milk yuh make from the pack, with water from the AM Premium breakfast party and the lil punkin and peas (foreign based players) ent that special to hold the pot together. This pot also have zero seasoning either fresh or bottled.

TTFA feel that Beenhakker come like a Maggi cube or a end of golden Ray salt butter....he go help, but the pot go still taste and smell like shit.

We go come second to last instead of last in the group.... It's a help though.

For all d shit we play...we had one or two chances that we shoulda put away.

There were also times when we finally decided to come forward, take on men and pass the ball we looked a bit dangerous.

Hopefully we get a better result vs Estonia.

Quebec soccer federation defends turban ban

Sikh males, such as those seen here in India, don the turban as a religious requirement
Quebec's soccer federation has defended a turban ban for players in its youth leagues, saying Sikh boys "can play in their backyard".

On Monday, a spokeswoman for the group said turbans were a safety hazard.

Canadian Sikh organisations estimate the ban has stopped 200 children playing in federated leagues this year.

The World Sikh Organization of Canada said it was "deeply saddened" by the "unreasonable" decision.

The decision to uphold the ban comes despite a ruling by the Canadian Soccer Association allowing hijabs, or Islamic headscarves, as well as turbans.

'No choice'
In a conference call on Monday, Brigitte Frot, the director general of the Quebec Soccer Federation, was asked what would happen if a five-year-old Sikh player were to register to play with his friends.

It is incredibly unfortunate and insulting that, in a nation that prides itself on diversity, such discriminatory regulations are allowed to stand”

"They can play in their backyard," Ms Frot said, "but not with official referees, not in the official rules of soccer. They have no choice."

Ms Frot told reporters the federation had not conducted safety studies on turbans, as the organisation did not have money for one. She was unaware of any related injuries in the province's leagues.

"The point is we don't know and because we don't know we don't want to take any chances," she said.

The federation also said it was taking a cue from Fifa's turban rules, but the international football organisation has no regulations either way on the head covering.

Conservative MP Parm Gill, an Indian Canadian, criticised the move.

"It is incredibly unfortunate and insulting that, in a nation that prides itself on diversity, such discriminatory regulations are allowed to stand," he said in a statement.

"There is no valid reason for a ban on the wearing of turbans or other religious symbols during athletic competitions."

Quebec's federation is the only provincial soccer organisation in the country that has banned the turban.

The World Sikh Organization of Canada said it was considering a legal challenge but said the season was already lost for many young players, as the registration deadline had passed.

« on: June 03, 2013, 10:01:06 AM »
Long time, I woulda keep it.

But now...I ent saying is manna from Heaven.

When money appear so it hadda be somebody own and if it go missing they will find you...especially in T&T.

I find money on the ground many times...100 and ting. I does give it to charity.

Nuttin in life free...if I ent earn it I ent want it.

Lemme ask yuh dis nah, what if someone bought you lottery for your birthday and it hit, yuh go gey way dat money too??

meh boy, the ppl who taught us to be honest, was the biggest crooks. for instance the crown government under colonialism and slavery,

they stole from the land owners, the ppl who they brought as slaves to work the land for free, and also "income" taxation, it's all thievery.

breds, sometimes God does move in mysterious ways his wonders to perform. sometimes god does take money from some to give to some, that's his way of evening out the playing field, and if i saw ah lump sum of money i will hold on to it until other wise, when no one calls for it then it's all mine.

fack all that honest acolyte talk that we were brain washed with from the biggest crooks on the planet.

Just Cool...see d part in bold...lottery, yuh buy the ticket or somebody give it to you. Of course I ent giving that money away that is mine  ;) Dat is a different circumstance all together. I does buy meh lil scratch and cash pot...its a chance I taking with me exchanging my cash.

But lewwe say yuh find a bag of money in city gate or next to you in a Maxi....No way I interfering with that.

Lemme give you a true story...my elderly grandmother used to walk my cousin to school every day when she used to stay a 6 months in NY.
One day a man stop her in the road and say Granny look you drop a bag with money and show her a setta cash. She say no that is not mine and walk off.

The man follow her and say well...lewwe share the money, take it.

She again said no and walked off.

You believe a few weeks later they hold the man for robbing people, they used to lure them with the money and then take them by the atm to take out they cash.

See me....A man try a ting once telling me in town he go give me some air max sneakers for a $200 each if I give him some money to clear the barrel in the port. I was in meh school uniform and is in d drag when I was shopping he vibes meh.
I say lemme see the documents and the dotish imps pull out a Scotia Bank Deposit slip in crapaud foot handwriting saying to clear 50 pair air nike sneakers.

I run dat so fast eh.

Greed is what does make people do dotish ting.

I ent touching no bag of money in T&T I sorry.
