Football / Jamal Gay ahead of Knox and Joseph

folks.... To my knowledge Gay did not play youth football for tnt ( ??)...
he had a decent season for EL DO....now he is on the National senior team...
I want to know how he got ahead of Stephen Knox and Daniel Joseph....2 strikers i rate highly...granted they did not have big SSFL seasons...i heard about Joseph and some problems at Gustine....
maybe Gay showing more at the U-20 training...no disrepect to Gay....but he not in the class of the 2 players mentioned..
anybody have any info on this

Is long time now ah want to write this topic....
and i not afraid of tryng to find out why 99% of this forum turns into "Anti-christ" anytime the name "Corneal" is mentioned...
The thing is...nobody says why the "hate"....so i challenge you each to a man/woman to state your reason...
I will say mine now......I met Alvin and Anton years ago....and had many football discussions with them....not only coaching...football...stories , past players etc etc....
what i see is a family of people who live their lives for football.... ( like most of us in a sense....thats why we always here ent ??)...Anton is also a top class Pigeon racer....
both are past players and coaches of the country...
it cant be because of the lack of sucess of Alvin as national coach ...thats the Hate reason ??...serious?? .....did he drop you from a club or national team

yea...Stern blasted the preprations for the match....woke up early , went to tobago airport...delay...get to Trini..delay....poor prep...aimed at TTFF sounded like...

yea folks...sorry but i had to post this.....
Plus de man play footbal fuh tnt...and i eh know how to put thing in other sections and ting.....
But of course i was one of the 2-3 thousands in de oval to see the maestro one more time....and of course as only genius can...well.."look yuh century".....like nothing.....
was really an honour....sorry dey had to run the man out de WI cricket....and of course it was some of his doing also.....but a master son of the soil.....
I even manage a lil lime with Lara in the members bar after....sort out a lil autograph for "lilttle Miss magician"....and ah end up in a conversation with Lincoln Tiger Phillips.....and well yuh know i cant reveal that conversation.....but i will say he is excited and positive on the new coach's appoinment.....
and so while i on it...congrats to Chris Gayle and the WI team for winning the first test and giving a good showing in the second test...good luck to them in the 3rd test....yuh see...i tell allyuh i like Gayle, taylor, samuels and dem....is dem stinking britz and they big mouth football team..like if they have tradition and ting.......

I think Keano needs a better "First Team " coach.....dat team not keeping the ball at all....
Think Quireoz ( man Utd) Ten cate ( Chelsea)......is dem men that makes teams play....
and i not taking away from the managers job......but that Sunderland team not playing football....because they not "traning" football....was working in the Championship....but....big bizness here

ok...he was not in hott shoppe....
but i wanted to mention...i went the joe Public vz Jabloteh match....
now i know Noray from he Jabloteh days....and i was a fan...but not really a big fan.....
now the man make meh sit up and watch in that match....
first of all...he play center attacking mid in a 5 man mid for JP .....and was really very impresive....
his technique is very good....good movement...and quick decisions in tight spaces...he really looked the part...got some speed also.....after JP took the lead in the 80th min....Macomere put him forward .... just wondering where his head is at these days....time for a TnT recall maybe???.....
must mention the number 18 for JP also.....and i could not get his name....ah mean is oly 83 people in the stadium ( i did count them....)....
I guessing the player might me Terrance Mcallister...
let me describe him....short...decent build...very dark,..excellent tecnique....good passer...and tricky...was playing a holding role....i would like to know who this is??...any one know ??...

folks....I dont know bout allyuh......
But Sunday I spent the whole day at QRC grounds playing a 7-a-side football tournament....
I heard the MC for the day announce the WC draw and the possible group for TnT...then Small Mag call me and give me the run down....
And the thing is...not a slight feeling ...nothing at all...as if this thing not even there...
I dont have to ask any of you what TnT football means to my life....but i never felt this empty before....
Is this my reward for all the years of my totall support for football in my country....
this is my reward ...One man must say the key players not playing for TnT ...
one man must offer 5000tt dollars to my World Cup heroes and say take it or leave it ??....
one man en route to the WC Draw must say ..even if the bonus arbritration goes the way of the players..the TTFF is still right.....
is this my reward???.....no Internationals on FIFA dates ??....
no TV coverage for friendlies....
no warm up games for the women u-23's ??....
the u-23's embarasment..
allyuh talking bout WCQ group and players and picking starting 11's....
.even if the WC players come back...what frame of mind will they be in ??.....
you think they will give it 200%??...after they get thief and called "Greedy".....
We new Coach get caught up in the Local TTFF scene...death move...
check Don Leo how he kept all things Local at arms length...
but like Whim eh learn.....death move....
will the past players have respect for Wim.??....or is it a case of the Principal left school and a teacher in charge....riot...
the boss left work for a meeting and the floor supervisor in charge...riot....
dont know...but that is Wim's job....
I really feeling empty....even back in the days of tough groups and nothing to hope for...it was exciting....but i guess all has been revealed....crazy...i dont feel like this

Football / Joel Rahim TnT left back from late 70's ..early 80's

people...not sure how many of you know of Joel Rahim...
He, was for me an outstanding football player and again in my opinion ,the the last top left back for TnT....
no disrepect to Avery John, Faustin and others...
He went to Mod Sec in south and saw the school to the best years they ever had in the old CFL...
I saw many good games he had for TnT and he was once offered a Pro contract to play with Transavaal ( Suriname)...could have been his window to Europe...but those were different days
To my knowledge he still lives in Marabella ...not sure of his life after football....but i hear he plays the odd fete match....
to be honest he was my Idol...i guess you know how it is at school when as a form 3 student,, i was called to the Senior Intercol team, and rubbed shoulders with the stars of the team like Rahim and Verant Tyson....we also became good friends after....but i lost track when i moved to POS many years ago....

I know this thread will turn out to be a dis and dat and ole talk....but say what,,,,that what its all about
CIC started life in the lower division last week, with a 4-1 win over Blanchseus ( ah cant even spell it..lol)
Monday 17th...they were leading Belmont 2-1 with 6 mins left in de Savahana ( Timari central)..and a heavy downpour saw Belmont coach Mr Ron La Forest protesting to the ref about the conditions...and the ref stopped the game...
yea so...go ahead..I wont wish this on your favorite college teams....

I am the second biggest "Hardest" fan here...allyuh know who de first is...
well last night had a TV Sport News report with Hardest voicing his views on his sacking from Rangers..and yuh know what phrase he use bout 5 times ?> "God is de Boss"....
Me and Small Mag say is TI write de speech.....but Hardest saying Rangers should have called him in first and hear his side of the story which according to Hardest( or TI)...is that the Passa Passa Football was like "community Service"....maybe a point ...but this is Pro football son.....

Football / Big Magician match report Jabloteh vz Joe Public

yea...well is a small ting really.....nursing a friday night hangover so i went down to de Crawford to check out my squad jabloteh vz Joe public....
Got there in the 20th min of the first game Army vz NE Stars...DF leading 1-0...so first time seeing Army for the season...times really change yes...Army really fall off because of the Pro League....players dont have to go to the Army again to get pay to play...so they have to play with what they got....and they aint got much.....Anton Pierre .. C baptiste(now i am not sure he played eh...)....the new keeper since Cleon John gone looked good...commanding....really follows a string of good army keepers...
NE Stars....for me Glenton Wolfe looks the part for them...he is the skipper also....TnT needs to keep working with this player....Kendall Velox is the class player for them...and he has been around.....and sorry...me eh know what allyuh see in "Jaggy".Kendall Jagdeosingh....and i have seen him quite a few times...so is not like a bad day.....de man thin thin thin...badly need "ah food"...is real small goal type beatz.....and no purpose to his play....I am just not yet convinced....
well NE Stars got a dubious goal from a "handball" that the ref Brizan got all wrong...and then Kerry "Gold" Jamerson really started to put on a show....real gallery if you ask me....so he got sent off.....Army resorted to some real tough stuff and intimidation...thats always part of thier game...even at the north zone level..i see them do it...it works for them......Coops...you should tell me how much of that tactic is part of the army football presence....an army defender fell with a NES striker and instantly looked in real pain...almost sure he broke something....there was an army ambulance on site and even the army men with the stretcher was having a go and cussing the striker involved in the incident....i did notice the man that scored the Army winning penalty...ah red man...he looked pretty organized in a defensive mid position...got to find out his name......people..check this...dat football match was of a poor poor standard...really...this is my second look at NES....real poor play and technique ...poor fitness also...yes..even army too...and what are the positions in the standings for these teams??..top 6 right??....
Now the "big " match...Jabloteh vz Joe Public....15 min delay because "No Ambulance" present...is Angus Eve and some officials on cell phone making calls....both teams knocking some ball...yawn yawn yawn....i went and buy 3 pie and ah coke to try to sort out de hangover ....had a chat with my former "boss" Jimmy Blanc.......had a few laughs with Lasana Liburd ( who is Lie-Bird??..remember jack saying dat...lol..)....gave Chad De Frietas a firm handshake with the message of "keep Going" son....and got some strange looks walking around with my Angus Eve Number 18 Jabloteh green kit..yes given to me by the man himself.....
well de "ambulance " finally came..a white roll on roll off station wagon....probably with a stretcher in it...and i guess de oxygen tank would be the windows rolled down...so time to start....was really looking forwad to some of the "big" names... Dwarika, Saunders,Power for Joe public ( injured out)...and Cornell Glen, Peltier, Whitley, Daniel, Durance Williams ( injury,suspension and loss of focus)....now as we all know this match also had the ""Fenwick..McComie..Peltier saga attached to it"".....and the small crowd took sides with Peltier letting McComie know it...it had a woman bawling out " McComere"..McComere" as in Macomere man but making it sound as McComie..reall funny....
so i know most of the Jab players....but cant recognise all the Public players....
so Jab started with Cleon John in goal...back 4 of Devon Jamerson RB (kerry son) Ian Gray and Carlon Murray ( CB) and Cyd Gray LB.....RM Elton John... Trent Noel, Khaleem Hgyland, Wendell Joseph ( almost sure) in the middle of the park and Jason Marcano LM...with the Antiguan Peter Byers on top....The players i could make out for Public were the panyol keeper Figerourer..Keyeno Thomas...Abbi Mcpherson... Galsgow , Croc Pierre, Chubby Andrews, Kerry Baptiste.....( ah shoulda really write this last night yuh know)....
It took just 5 mins to see the difference in the quality of these players and the standard of play compared to the first match....glaring...
so is battle for midfield going on...counter attacks....and some rough stuff starting...not much goal mouth action...a couple dangerous corners from Jabloteh...and some trickery from Glasgow and Marcano.....Hgyland took control in Midfield for Jabloteh...with some good play..and long range shooting....and a public striker missed the best chance of the first half hitting wide after a one on one with the keeper....
a more intense second half....with Marcano bringing out a world clas save from de panyol....and Jabloteh playing without a right side as Jamerson and Elton John not coming to terms with first team football..( and ah see them 3 times for the season).....so yellow card coming out right through...with Kerry Baptiste getting a second yellow.....causing Glasgow to go out on the right side and Jabloteh putting in Tulla Guerra to replace Elton John...
.and so a another dangerous corner late in the game saw a player latch on to a loose ball and slammed a falling left foot volley.....i thought it was Wendelll Joseph..or Hgyland....but it might be Byers...lol..they all do look alike...not to mention the black electrical tape type numbers on dark green shirts.....

Hgyland...this is the revelation of the night for me...this kid really improve....i was never sold on him...MS compre and TnT u-20's...but this is a new man.....and he is wearing the Armband.....keep an eye on him...
Trent Noel...i know Faldo shocked a lot of people in the Gold Cup....but he is one of the consistent performers for Jabloteh over the past 5 years....good golfer too...
Wendell Joseph.."Sam"..i took a good look at the player you mentioned as the "best " central mid in TnT...well i am almost sure it was Joseph...he is tidy in his work....i bit slow ( not feet eh)....but solid at best...

Got there in the 20th min of the first game Army vz NE Stars...DF leading 1-0...so first time seeing Army for the season...times really change yes...Army really fall off because of the Pro League....players dont have to go to the Army again to get pay to play...so they have to play with what they got....and they aint got much.....Anton Pierre .. C baptiste(now i am not sure he played eh...)....the new keeper since Cleon John gone looked good...commanding....really follows a string of good army keepers...
NE Stars....for me Glenton Wolfe looks the part for them...he is the skipper also....TnT needs to keep working with this player....Kendall Velox is the class player for them...and he has been around.....and sorry...me eh know what allyuh see in "Jaggy".Kendall Jagdeosingh....and i have seen him quite a few times...so is not like a bad day.....de man thin thin thin...badly need "ah food"...is real small goal type beatz.....and no purpose to his play....I am just not yet convinced....
well NE Stars got a dubious goal from a "handball" that the ref Brizan got all wrong...and then Kerry "Gold" Jamerson really started to put on a show....real gallery if you ask me....so he got sent off.....Army resorted to some real tough stuff and intimidation...thats always part of thier game...even at the north zone level..i see them do it...it works for them......Coops...you should tell me how much of that tactic is part of the army football presence....an army defender fell with a NES striker and instantly looked in real pain...almost sure he broke something....there was an army ambulance on site and even the army men with the stretcher was having a go and cussing the striker involved in the incident....i did notice the man that scored the Army winning penalty...ah red man...he looked pretty organized in a defensive mid position...got to find out his name......people..check this...dat football match was of a poor poor standard...really...this is my second look at NES....real poor play and technique ...poor fitness also...yes..even army too...and what are the positions in the standings for these teams??..top 6 right??....
Now the "big " match...Jabloteh vz Joe Public....15 min delay because "No Ambulance" present...is Angus Eve and some officials on cell phone making calls....both teams knocking some ball...yawn yawn yawn....i went and buy 3 pie and ah coke to try to sort out de hangover ....had a chat with my former "boss" Jimmy Blanc.......had a few laughs with Lasana Liburd ( who is Lie-Bird??..remember jack saying dat...lol..)....gave Chad De Frietas a firm handshake with the message of "keep Going" son....and got some strange looks walking around with my Angus Eve Number 18 Jabloteh green kit..yes given to me by the man himself.....
well de "ambulance " finally came..a white roll on roll off station wagon....probably with a stretcher in it...and i guess de oxygen tank would be the windows rolled down...so time to start....was really looking forwad to some of the "big" names... Dwarika, Saunders,Power for Joe public ( injured out)...and Cornell Glen, Peltier, Whitley, Daniel, Durance Williams ( injury,suspension and loss of focus)....now as we all know this match also had the ""Fenwick..McComie..Peltier saga attached to it"".....and the small crowd took sides with Peltier letting McComie know it...it had a woman bawling out " McComere"..McComere" as in Macomere man but making it sound as McComie..reall funny....
so i know most of the Jab players....but cant recognise all the Public players....
so Jab started with Cleon John in goal...back 4 of Devon Jamerson RB (kerry son) Ian Gray and Carlon Murray ( CB) and Cyd Gray LB.....RM Elton John... Trent Noel, Khaleem Hgyland, Wendell Joseph ( almost sure) in the middle of the park and Jason Marcano LM...with the Antiguan Peter Byers on top....The players i could make out for Public were the panyol keeper Figerourer..Keyeno Thomas...Abbi Mcpherson... Galsgow , Croc Pierre, Chubby Andrews, Kerry Baptiste.....( ah shoulda really write this last night yuh know)....
It took just 5 mins to see the difference in the quality of these players and the standard of play compared to the first match....glaring...
so is battle for midfield going on...counter attacks....and some rough stuff starting...not much goal mouth action...a couple dangerous corners from Jabloteh...and some trickery from Glasgow and Marcano.....Hgyland took control in Midfield for Jabloteh...with some good play..and long range shooting....and a public striker missed the best chance of the first half hitting wide after a one on one with the keeper....
a more intense second half....with Marcano bringing out a world clas save from de panyol....and Jabloteh playing without a right side as Jamerson and Elton John not coming to terms with first team football..( and ah see them 3 times for the season).....so yellow card coming out right through...with Kerry Baptiste getting a second yellow.....causing Glasgow to go out on the right side and Jabloteh putting in Tulla Guerra to replace Elton John...
.and so a another dangerous corner late in the game saw a player latch on to a loose ball and slammed a falling left foot volley.....i thought it was Wendelll Joseph..or Hgyland....but it might be Byers...lol..they all do look alike...not to mention the black electrical tape type numbers on dark green shirts.....

we talking bout solving the impasse.....
did anyone stop for a minute and think what frame of mind the players will be in if they come back....
I think the damage is done.....the trust is gone....i cant see the players giving 100% again in hard qualification games with the past in the minds.....when we 1-0 down in cost rica and honduras...and yuh need that little extra...some of the questions could surface,,,"What i doing all this for"""...
to get robbed again???.....
is like geTting back a "wuk" after de boss rob yuh....like going back with ah gyul after she horn yuh.....yuh feel that trust there

I cant go in too deep...I going away for a week..so is short...2 main things... the 3 young Jab players, peltier, hyland and guerra....we must wait on official word on the situation with portsmouth...because..last night corn curls play...and hyland (80min)...no guerra...and last game hyland came on also...so we cant take any word for it now....by the way...peltier caused trouble all night....
Hardest.....all you can expect from the man....slick passing.....fakes.....and of course the dissapear from the game......and de rangers team totally overweight and unfit...
but hear me good....you all have to go and see PETER BYERS in action...thats the Antiguian striker Jab sign....very direct,strong,fast,2 footed, high work rate......i just need to see his heading ability...

yea people....noticed jabloteh training session at convent ground, so a ball hoe like me went in and check it for 30 mins...
full compliment...with Terry barking out orders in a scrimmage....
Angus Eve there also in charge of the reserves...had a good talk with Angus...he pointed out some of the youths that they have some high hopes for...the left footed ex fatima player Marin....Jamerson ( Kerry"gold' Jamerson son)...Elton John....they willing to be patient with them and bring them through...
you have to see the level of organization and intensity of the training to fully understand why Jab pull the players out of mistimed national sessions/matches....
ok here is the part the forum wants to know... Peltier, Guerra and Hyland WERE ALL THERE ..JUST RETURNED...with the word being "they all got through"....
the players and staff reffering to them in kicks as "the englishmen".....
from my chat...it looks like they are part of the Pompey future plans...acadamey and youth and reserve football....dont go expectng to see them in the EPL next season...unless of course they really light up the place...i gave each one a bounce and a congrats....they seem very happy....
Jab will keep them fit and in training...but no PFL play for them...they even sat out the scrimmage....but Angus said they will get a lil 5 mins...
now Jab have real youths on the 2 squads...so i can see the signings of the 3 players being used to push the other youths to excel....a kinda " look lads...if you keep working hard...you might get out there for a trial like them"....
Cornell Glenn....yea..Glenn was there doing rehab training with Ian Gray ...Gray have the same injury..so they were working together with a trainier....some hard work...Glenn looks fit for a man out the game...and he is running laps at good pace...to the point where he said "Gray cyar keep up with me boy"...Glenn even kicked a few left footed volleys ( like a keeper dunk out nah )....but no ball work per say....againg i give him a lil bounce and wished him a speedy recovery...but he could not say how long....Angus did say that after 2 operations...he is doing well but the knee is still very "stiff"...
well yea...just thought i would share some info with you all....cool...fry bake and fry carite in the kitchen waiting...and then off the play a round of golf....cheers

Well not really a match report...but...some points...
Me and Small Mag went ...saw 5 mins of Rangers v Tobago....first ting we look for was hardest....was looking for 10 but he wore 11...good news...he look like he lost a few pounds...could be the rangers kit...but we later confirmed it when he sat in the row just below us watching the jab/connection match....well he was watching and on his cell phone at the same time....ah maco de call and i did hear him mention TI and Barcelona....maybe it was a 3-way call with rikkijard...(just kicks TI)
Well de Jab v Connection game....yuh know me and small getting kicks how we could drive in de stadium..no probs. no ambulance ( and a man had to be taken away...come on skeen and romany)....comparing it to a big world clash....ah mean..these are the top 2 for the last 6 years or so....say what....we even recalled celebrating and going into the jab dressing room some years ago when Terry won the title...partying and celebrating with Elcock,Eve and Terry...champagne and water cooler pouring over terry....can you do that at United,Chelsea, Boca or Harbour view ( can you RF??)
anyhow.....so is 11 trini from Jab vs. 4 starting trini from Connection....now me eh know the Connection players too well cause i am a Jabloteh fan...but following the team sheet.....in my opinion....is still the imports doing the stuff for Connection....Earl Jean is ah boss...so much experience....joseph at the back....and de host of brazzilians...tops...cant see why Seabra was MoM....but all dem thomas, de leon, hector ( dat cyar be your name breads)...long way to go..sorry...looooonnnnggg way.
the Connection goal looked like a foul on the keeper to me...but durance should have been more phyiscal in the play...the ref let it stand.....oh yea...it was a female ref...and i had to teach small mag the ethics of the male/female diplomacy...he just could not see it....he saying the clash too big for a woman...ah start calling him Mike Newell...
Jab now....Cyd as skipper....hear nah....what a professional....i have to admire this man...a former laughing stock....capt TnT and his club....still the number 1 right back in the country...ah remember in Germany waking up in Munich and hearing cyd out for the Paraguay game...de whole bus discussing how we going to deal with that....this is the same "goat" Cyd we talking bout....history(and tapes) will show it was the worst defensive performance by tnt in the WC....anyhow...Cyd playing center back for jab....in the second half he played at right mid and then finished the game as a striker...is fuh true....and then well...he got a second yellow..( Small Mag blame de woman again).
right, next WC player....Mr Aurtis Otis Seaton Whitley....allyuh check this....now i cant reveal my sources but...Whitley was giving jab some real pressure last season post world cup....that Vietnam contract thing seemed like a " let's send Whitley away" ..and get on with our job...now he is back and straight into the starting 11...( recall terry put him on the bench for the CFU cup final)...now that could be 2 things...Whitley came back and said sorry to the staff and started trainig like his old self or the jab staff/management fraid him...but now to Whitley the player......watch meh...dat Vietnam coach want ah slap in he face for trying to disgrace one of our WC players....oh ".he have to teach Whitley de basics of de game"....and some of allyuh c#nts on this forum buy de man story....jab beating Vietnam national team 5-0....anyhow (calm down)...he start a bit slow....trying to be casual (big player nah)....but then started to show his class...some rasping drives...passing, one really nice mazey run past 3 men...( long time "inch" beat and ting)...and then he should have put away a good chance....if the Vietnam ass did say he doh like this player's attitude then i might read into it some more....but i hope Aurtis settle down and fall in love with the game again.
Mr Jason Marcano....i following dis kid for a lil while....if yuh like yuh football fancy,...well dis is yuh man...dribble..shake...all over de park....but for now..thats what you will get...lots to learn...i cant recall him shooting last night...and he was one of the strikers....some nice passes.....but dis is one to keep tabs on.......ah guess you wont like to meet him in ah small goal....de man real thin too...like he nickname would be matches, sticks, soul or dada or someting like dat....and de voice...in ah empty stadium (150-200) yuh jess hearing dis fine fine girl like voice screaming for de ball...real funny....ah could see Redknapp and dem Cardiff coaches say " what terry send fuh we here boy"..ah skinny ,girl voice dribbler"....but i backing him to come good in the next 2 seasons.
