Mango Chow

It easy to break it down to option A and B when yuh living abroad but it not so simple.

It is not nice to insult all of us down here saying we like it so.

1) You cannot get local channels on Direct TV so no news, gayelle, synergy, win tv etc. that alone is a bonus for flow.

2) Direct TV in TT comes from the latin american feed so most of the programming is in spanish

3) CNC3 a local newsstation and tv6 have the rights to most sporting events in TT WC, Under 17 etc and EPL games. see point 1 above.

4) We in the caribbean, we have rainy season for 6 months of the year....flow does not have "Searching for Satellite signal" when it rains.

5) Flow cheaper

So the above are 5 reasons why we in Trinidad like it and stick with option "A"

Lets sing along shall we..."If better can't be done...let the worse continue"

Touches thanks for answering this Mango Chow fella because the does be living aboard and be making ignorant statements  and when you tell them anything they come up with some bull shit answer.
Then they does want to be talking about they are Trini and the know little about what is going on in Trinidad

what bout Baptista, Kalou, Rocha, Assou-Ekoko, Davenport, Boa Morte and Obafeme Martins?
these fellas yeah they need to be on the list Kalou has had limited playing time for the season but has produced when he have gotten a chance also he in Sheva's pop down shadow.
Boa Morte went to West Ham and had to adjust but have been playing really well in the last 3 weeks and plus Fulham has struggled big time since letting him go.
Finally one of Favorite strikers (after Stern John) Obafeme Martins have always been a good striker but with all the injuries Newcastle has had this season alot of the time he has been playing as a lone striker and that has been very hard but he has preformed very well i look forward to him and Owen becoming a formidable striking partnership next season.

randi patterson is at the nyc red bulls

any one know the difference between the Supplemental Draft and the regular draft?

In the NBA....I believe the regular draft players have guaranteed contracts whereas the supplemental draft players have contracts to work out with the team with the potential to get signed full time, but could either move to a farm team or get cut completely.

Maybe is similar in MLS
Congrats to Daryl
Congrats and well Osei my former schoolmate

I think what had happen is that they missed the combine because they were in Training camp so they mightn't been considered for a regular draft spot but i am hope after there performance in the Digicel i think they can push for a regular team spot.

Lead us to the championship fellas

I am sorry but Gary " Bound to miss Glasgow is the worst player to strike for T&T in the past two years. Is best they had bring back Mc Farlene he might not be fast but is a power house of a striker.

What will T&T do when Stern retires?

It is unfortunate that in our year of our glory and at the time when we have to  be aggressive in laying a foundation for WC2010 we have promises to our heroes that are not being honored. The TTFF is capable of righting its ship and still has the opportunity to do so. The players have only asked to be treated with respect, to be free of exploitation, to allow transparency in accounting practices, to expect honoring of the contracts that they signed and to be paid whatever was promised.

TTFF has a history of inept management and lack of decorum in dealing with its players. With all due respect, please remember that the TTFF is not a private enterprise, and the public is entitled to an accounting for all moneys received and spent. We are also entitled to know the terms of agreement made between the Warriors and the TTFF. Please find the courage to come open with accounting of revenues and expenditures. Please reveal the income from TV rights and explain where it has been distributed. Please honor the contracts.

If this situation were a one time occurrence, then, we the supporters would say okay lets move on, but this is a continuing pattern over the last 15years. We cannot afford to see our game, and more so our heroes that got us to the ultimate dream, get disrespected in this way.  Our stars are fast becoming role models and as such Yorke, Latapy, Edwards, Shaka, Stern and the rest of warrior voices are being looked upon to set the standard for the coming years. We stand with them.

This is the tipping point for us as fans. We are resolute in our support for our socawarriors. They are our heroes and the best ambassadors for our country. They have sacrificed careers to prove their loyalty to their country and we are die-hard fans who are prepared to sacrifice to do without their services in order to see a historically recurrent injustice corrected. It is impossible for them to give their heart and soul on the field while exploitation, dishonesty and misrepresentation goes on behind their backs.

This is also a critical juncture for the TTFF. Our appreciation, love and respect for our players and the sport is not something that we want you to take for granted, and we trust that you do not want to see the collective disappointments that we have accumulated over the years, brought to a head.

Again, while we appreciate all of  your hard work, with all due respect, please do the right thing.

Respectfully
Jason O'Connor

Football / Rivaldo vs Ronaldinho
« on: September 29, 2006, 04:33:16 PM »
I was just watching some clips of Barcelona in the late 90's early 2000's and it brought back some real good memories and it go me thinking who was the better and more domaiting player while playing for Barcelona.
Rivaldo or Ronaldinho, I like Ronaldinho but i think back of those days when Rivaldo used to grace the 10 for Barcelona i think he had more presence and drive that i think Ronaldinho hasn't shown on a constistant basis.
Think about the two 6 goal thrillers against Man Utd in the Champions league in 1999-2000 season or the excellent hat-trick performance against Valencia on the last day of the 2000-2001 seaon ( that helped Barca qualify to the champions league).
I think Rivaldo gets my vote

What do you all think.

......at least yuh know SOME geography, yuh know where the savannah is.  QRC is NOT on Serpentine road, padnah, but I understand that this is an accomplishment unprecedented in your Trinity experience, and yuh might be a little giddy so ah go give yuh some slack.  Congrats.
Quote

You have to be one of those dumb QRC jocks,
Yes I know QRC is not on Serpentine Road, Unlike you in Trinity we get a well rounded education.
But in case you did not know when QRC plays CIC they call it the battle of Serpentine Road.

Troy 8)

Your education, little troy, however "rounded" it may be (I don't know how well) clearly lacks definition and refinement.  Your response is so poor in structure and grammar that it could even mislead a lesser scholar (a trinity boy, for example) to assuming that the person you are responding to is actually a trinity student.  Once again though, considering that YOU are experiencing a rare "period" of unchartered success in the SSFL, it looks like I will have to cut you even more slack than previously expected.  Next time you waitin' for yuh maraval bus by QRC, though, yuh could take a minute to go inside the school and ask anybody (the security guards, even) if they would take the time to show you how to write a proper sentence. We of the "Q" are very benevolent and would be more than happy to help a dunce in need of "a well rounded education".

P.S.  I assure you that the "they" you are referring to that call the QRC-CIC rivalry "...the battle of Serpentine road..." or whatever, aren't too many people that are from QRC...if any at all. Now, run along, Troy.

chow...ah eh wha get involved in allyuh business eh...but if yuh criticizing de man bout grammar and ting de lease yuh could do is check yours.. ;D

Fan, boy, when yuh get to my age, yuh could use literary license as yuh see fit to cover any blemishes in the language yuh use.  Lil' Troy eh know 'bout dat yet.  ;D

I am a person that don't normally get into the slander and petty arguments that you are doing but I think I will have to make an exception his time.

You are a an even bigger jacka$$ than I first thought you were you are one of just one of those fools waggonist that come on the webiste since the world cup  and does want to start trouble go back under the rock you were hiding under all the time in New York and stop starting trouble be for you dumb a$$ get deported.
