Ronnie was the most athletic and talented T&T player I have seen.  Maybe tied with Gally.

I asked my brother, who goes back to the 1950s, this question, and he cannot remember any pure Chinese playing football for T&T.  Richard Chinapoo is the closest I can recall.

Sorry to hear about Dexter's passing.  He was a really nice guy.  He was one of Baltimore's top players.  RIP, brother!

Nah!  I have been trying to give John Williams the benefit of the doubt, but this takes the cake!  This is the epitome of arrogance.

Michael is a real class act. I know that Jack had put him in his black book.  However, he is the type who should be coaching a national youth team.  Congrats Mike!

Deeks, for some reason I am seeing Trevor Smith's boots hanging on the barb wire on top of Harvard's wall.  After that tournament, TFA ostracized Trevor.  Trevor was my CIC "A" Colts coach in 1969.  I liked him a lot.  His life went into a whirl wind.  After Jimmy's 1971 rebellion against TFA, they made him an outcast.

I believe this was the 1969 team in qualification for the 1970 World Cup. That's a wicked team, but obviously, we did not make it.  This tournament generated the "Burnt Boots' fiasco.  I played a little bit with Jimmy in 1972 for Maple, but around that time, things were going down hill for him.  He was so skillful.  Never saw Bert Grell play in Trinidad, but he was my biggest opposition in the All Stars-Juniors rivalry in Washington, DC.

Deeks, thanks for the correction. Yes, Glen was a very good keeper. I also heard arguments for Hayden Duprey, Allan Cupid, and Danny Williams.  Danny was my rival, and he was extremely good.  I feel so honored to be on this list.

Preacher, I was not giving kudos the new TTFA.  Actually, I am not impressed with some of the decisions they have made so far.  I cannot understand how they fired Randy Waldrum.  I was just giving support to Alvin Henderson being on the Technical Committee.  Thanks.  Have a good day!

11
Preacher, if you are saying that age does bring wisdom is completely false, you have to be a very young person.  Also, if you are trying to find someone with integrity, you must get to know Alvin Henderson.  I believe you would be impressed.

12
Sam, just the another day I knew Alvin as being young.  Before you know it, one day you will get old.  I learned over the years that age really brings wisdom.

13
Sam, for you to make such a statement about Alvin Henderson, it is obvious you do not know him.  Alvin is one of the most solid heads behind the scenes in T&T football.  He is also very fair and does not have any hidden agendas.  If you were to meet him, you would gain instant respect.

Phillip came back on the Wednesday before Carnival.  He is hoping to get two or three players.  He saw other good players, but they did not have the grades.

Richard Braithwaite was a lovely person.  He liked plenty ole talk, and he was such a gentleman.  Just a couple months ago, he and I were talking some chupidness via email.  Richard played a major part in the early goings of the 2006 World Cup campaign.  RIP, brother!

TTFA has no money.  They are at the mercy of the government.  They need a development department for strictly raising funds, but even at that, I do not know who is going to put a large amount of money into TTFA.  The big difference between this current administration and the past is the issue of ethics.  I do not see Tim Kee and Sheldon Phillips as dishonorable people.  They just have a lot of limitations in what they are dealing with.  It does not matter who is running TTFA, they are going to be faced with a lot of financial challenges.

I find Lasana Liburd only tries to cause confusion.  To me, the ticket prices sound quite reasonable.  Out of curiosity, what is the price of house to see a movie in T&T?  What is the price of a big mac meal in T&T?  Go T&T girls!
