Bottom line: Liverpool found a way to win, when they were not at their best. That's what good teams do.Two words: lucky bastards. Make that four: unfortunate Swansea.Luck is when preparation meets opportunity. That's why we have a GK to bail us out. Swansea didn't score - bottom line! Brendan Rodgers showed his tactical acuteness and switched things up at half time, and we controlled the 2nd half.
Re: the second half and Rodgers
What tactical nous was necessary? Liverpool was oscillating between playing tata and not playing at all. Swansea with WB not transferred to Man City would have had allyuh purged.
Is Can listed as a defender or an enforcer.

So six months later this matter is unresolved.
It doesn't matter who takes over the TTFA, when ANBODY has access to a huge budget (this includes all sports bodies) there must be a formula in place to ENFORCE accountability.
The FA is a prime example of what happens when it isn't. I think the Treasurer/Accountant for every body should be handpicked by the Govt. This way they know where THEIR money is going. And if the bodies refuse. Then no damn money for them.
If this had been done years ago, JW and dem coulda never gallery with ppl money so.
VB
Glory Glory f**kers. play till the end always !!!
That should help keep yuh warm when allyuh facin teams like Metalist in Europa league next year
How come no calls for LVG head.
So how much Sunderland got for throwing the game?
Some Guyanese people showed up with a trunk full of that stuff.
Be that as it may, a lot of Americans have rallied to Waldrum's call. This is real embarrassing. If the TTFF didn't have the money to fund the build-up camp in the U.S. for the tournament, why they they send the girls stranded like that? For the coach to tweet like that, it must have been real desperation. What really is sad though is to see monies go to waste with corrupted, unaudited programs like Lifesport. A little fuss was kicked up, but nothing will be done with the audit reports on the corruption that existed in the program. Yet, legitimate causes like this one go unfunded. Something seriously wrong with Trinidad. I know ah gone off on a tangent, but every day that pasts gets me more disgusted about the state of affairs in that country.
Is not that they send the girls stranded... Sportt and the MoS agreed to fund the trip but it only come thru last minute. Allyuh know how hard it is to get USD in Trinidad, so all they could get on the eve of the flight was the $500 dollars. Is not as Waldrum make it seem like that is all that they was going to get. The rest of the funds had to be converted thru the MoS process... which it finally was. Waldrum panicked and/or the TTFA did not communicate the situation/plans to him, making him think all he had to work with was the $500.
It all makes sense now.
Hopefully we can use this embarrassing incident to our advantage in unifying and motivating the team.
If we eventually qualify for the world cup, we could look back and view this as the defining moment.
God works in mysterious ways.
This is a very good squad. It doesn’t get stronger than this for T&T. Glad to see Cato finally getting a run. His incredible speed will be an asset with a striker like Jones playing alone upfront and Peltier on the other side of the field.
Our depth at striker is worrying as Jones is the only proven scorer we have (no offense to Caesar) and all other candidates for the job are guys that are in and out of the team and really not bring much proven ability. For this reason I’d like to see Shahdon Winchester start to get some experience with the national team. He needs to get a 20 minutes off the bench to start to get some international experience under his belt. He is scoring for his club and although I’m personally not fond of short strikers, he has good speed and improved strength along with surprisingly good ability in the air considering his height.
