Not making the trip for this game is Fulham striker Bobby Zamora and Bolton Wanderers defender Jlloyd Samuel. Zamora sustained an injury on Saturday while Samuel missed the deadline on Friday to arrive in London and pick up his T&T Passport.

 “Unfortunately neither of the two of them will be available for this game. Bobby Zamora received an injury on Saturday. This was confirmed by his club physiotherapist for Fulham Mark Taylor. They immediately contacted us because flight arrangements had already been made. The Trinidad and Tobago High Commission had been very cooperative in the process to get their passports. Even Bobby’s father is already here in Trinidad for the game,” Team manager David  Muhammad said.

 “In regards to Jlloyd Samuel he was out of the country on preseason training. Everything was put in place but he missed a deadline to collect his Trinidad and Tobago passport on Friday. We could have still had flown him in because he still wanted to come here and be part of the squad. The problem with Jlloyd is there is a mandatory 72-hour period for the registration of a player with a passport number and we could not register him if he did not have that passport in 72 hours. We would not have been able to play him based on the rules. But both players have already expressed their desire and zeal to participate in future matches for Trinidad and Tobago."

Well, well, well.  So we going and win this game with an unfit Dennis Lawrence, we captain who don't have a club either and Akile Edwards at Left back.  El Salvador going and destroy A. Edwards, run through we midfield and have Ince displaying is Zoo like antics at his defense.  It really hard being a Soca Warrior yes!!!

oh okay so Julius James was brought back to the MLS but I still not include him in my Warriors team (i guess my info outdated  ) cause to start him now is experimenting IMHO when we trying to win this game hands down.

Just Cool, don't know if you realise that Silvio Spann play in the last 2 WCQ games, so yes he is fit.  Julius James is still not tested at this level (down to no scouting by TTFF) plus his team loan him out to a USL team for the season.  Whitley is washed up homey forget about he and Skilla was part of the last 2 WCQ games. 

My apologies on the Hyland omission but I think you lacking a bit of information about certain players.

oh my bad I forgot to add Scotland to my list.  Anyway I am going on who is currently at a club and playing. Dennis Lawrence is still looking for a club, which means he is not fit, while Bakr is playing regularly and played with Dog in the Mexico game (i think it was Dog he play along side).  He didn't do to bad in that game.

El Salvador is ah shit side and one of the main reasons we didn't win that game was down to fitness.

These are my call ups based affiliation with a club, form & fitness level local & foreign:

Keepers:

Clayton Ince
Marvin Phillips

Defenders: Carlos Edwards, Avery John, Marvin Andrews, Bakr, Brent Sancho, (Dennis Lawrence is a big maybe as he does not have a club)

Midfielders:  Birchall, Trent Noel, Hayden Tinto, Silvio Spann, Skilla, Colin Samuel

Forwards: Kerry Baptiste, Stern John, Kenwyne Jones, Cornell Glen, Kendall Jagdeosingh

Yorke CAN'T be called for this game cause he on permanent vacation and I his fitness level for international football is horrible.  We need to win this game and I don't see have an unfit Yorke is going to help us when we need everyone fit and running on that team to give us a chance to win.

Start XI should be:

                           Ince

Carlos    Bakr     Andrews (or Sancho)  Avery John

wow! that's the best we could do. from playing Venuezuela A & B, Paraguay, Costa Rica & Brazil to Chaguanas Allstars.  lawd! is what 2 mnths to go before that U20 WC start.  we need to keep playing quality opposition (i know it cost money but shit put the money into that program 2010 is not realistic right now).

wont even bother to get excited about this at all.  would rather we play Venuezela (or Jamaica) who right flicken dey but Jack aint spending that kind of money on a faltering campaign.  Fete match sweat is not good enough preparation for an international game.  Costa Rica coming prepared for we especially after them play USA on June 3rd. 

Latas believe in what he doing so I guess we as fans have to put that faith in him.  God speed Warriors!!!

seems like the same old story here boy. Avery, Dog, Stern, Spann, Yorke.  The old boys regime (not so much Spann, but still).  I understand d need to get results now but damn son!  If we playing Lawrence, Dog & Avery in that 3 5 2 system, crapaud smoke we pipe.  That 5 man midfield have to be working and clicking on all cyclinders cause we will get open up like ah can of sardines.  Latas I putting faith in you breds but I only seeing the same old names creeping up.  Well i guess is all about who Latas trust right.

Fellas this is a scrimmage match, so doh lose no sleep over it. However, I would have rather us play a team like Venezuela (who just as close as Tobago).  Don't know why we never get friendlies with them.  But seems like all the money being invested in the U-20's and righfully so.  Bless up!

I hate to say it but Latas still look good (bar it be a training session). At 40 the man touches still sublime and is only fan and beat I see men getting they. Anyway I still don't him to play, just coach.  Like he say is all about who fitting into the system he what to play and the best players will be on 24 that goes to Tobago.

Glad to see that Dog is back training in T&T. However, I think it's a gamble to play him against Costa Rica as he hasn't play international ball in over 3 years.  We should definitely stick with Lawrence & Thomas as the Centerbacks.  We problem is Wingbacks and Midfield. But bless up the Dog nonetheless.

LATAS I really hope he just dey to make up numbers and not part of the final squad. Lawd of mercy!  Look how I flying down to Trinidad taking ah boat from the Thursday to go up Tobago and going to see the game on Saturday with man like Silvio Spann playing.  Spann if ah see yuh in the stands I go buy u ah beer man, just stay away from the senior team.

right now Kenwyne lacking confidence BIG TIME!!  but he also need to work alot more on his craft to be a potent striker. imagine at age 24 he can't trap a ball properly and his first touch is atrocious.  he needs to worker harder either by himself or with a personal coach i.e. yorke, on the fundamentals or else he go playing championship ball right thru.  Kenwyne still a raw talent.

if is true that Wolfe curse Latas after the USA game, then how much respect the foreign based players going to give him as head coach.  I just think alot of those players may not be receptive to the changes he is going to be making. Not trying to sound too pessimistic, just trying to look at the big picture.  Like how is Latas going and call he boy Stern nd tell him boss we don't need you again but we go drink ah beer in Zen after the games.  I backing Latas all the way but will the "big boys" them especially man like Yorke (he twin) be willing to listen to him.
