Football / Re the U 20 WC in Argentina

I have a roommate who played football in Nigeria. He is studying in Toronto and playing College soccer here. He has trials with two European clubs this summer.
He is 23 and told me if he had stayed in Nigeria he would have been on the present U 20 team in Argentina. ;-)
He added that is cousin is a starter on the team and is 25 LOL.
He said one of the reasons FIFA can't ascertain these things is that many Nigerian don't have proper nutrition so their bones don't reflect their proper age. Whereas I understand that, his family is comfortable and certainly well fed but when he casually told me about the ages on the team I had to laugh. I don't feel so badly now about the cut tail that those African teams give TT and Canada.

Clauzel says that MSC beat Trinity 5-0 in this Nationwide KO tournament. Christian Rodriguez who played for Saints that year agrees.
But the Capt and Vice Capt of MSC say they believe the score was 5-2.
Anbody here was at that game and remembers. I think Slates and Fishs migt be able to chip in.

I was talking to Earl Spiderman Carter re Ian Clauzel and the Mucurapo team of '78.
He started to rave about Dubisson, saying he was the man who used to provide IC with the goals.
he said I have never seen midfielder run with the ball so fast at their foot except Archibald.
I also heard someone else say he had a nervous breakdown or went mad. Anybody remember seeing this man play.

Ian Clauzel has agreed to do an interview with me.
I think the former Dread Dribbler of Mucurapo has a story to tell and I am looking forward to the interview.
I will be honest and tell you that I was a youngster in the late 70s and never saw him play. But even people who did not follow football in those days knew the name Clauzel.
If you have any memories of him or questions for him please say. I will do my best to put forward your questions.
