We needed Guat and CR to get as much cut ass as possible. That really helps us close the gd gap.

We went two goals forward yest. whilst Guat and CR went 2 and three backwards....Sweet.. :)

3. 2 new Center midfielders who were completely out of the picture. (not BsC fault - player personal grievience, is no fault of the coach) Everybody saw where the problem was in past games. We looked at all kinda people, even bring People outta semi-retirement, and now, Birchall and Whitley, and there is still Spann.

Is not the same team, some players might be same, but there mindset was not. After Costa Rica, they knew they were capable, 2 addt. midfielders, pushed them towards a better frame of mind, addition of any  new, and knowlegable coach, sky is the limit.
As I said, BeenE was in a win-win. We were the ones who had it to lose.
Yet if we had him at the beginning,
1. he may have refused, at the time
2. He would probably not have been able to conduct the same kind of Camps/tryouts.
3. What team would he have selected? I couldn't tell yuh

U read meh mind breds.

It reminded of how I felt during the GC in 2000 or after the lix we laid on Canada and Mex that same yr.

It makes ur day just a little easier. and quite frankly we were overdue for something like this.

I just realize something...cricket finished in J'ca abt. 5:00 pm...which I think is 6 O'clock TT time.

Therefore, vibe cah start broadcasting in TT until 6 ish.

So maybe in hindsight dey change de fu^%$%^ time..and tie up ppl who reach early.

Shit I had to run down to internet cafe at fu^$%^% midnight for this mofo...starting 12:30 am my time...and now I might have to wait an extra hr for this...

Look what man is do for ftbl eh....oh well.

I almost sure dey change de time to broadcast on radio after the cricket.

The Express says 6:30 but if ur ticket says 5:30....LORD!!!!!!

I'm using IE and it tabulated everybody's correctly except for CR.

CR was the last team on the list (not on pts) so perhaps it can't tabulate correctly for the last listed team.

Allyuh fellas take a good look at the wins and draw and add it up.

Sam I'm a cunny who can spell and remember.

Others were fed up during the last WC encounter for the same constant clicking and scanning...

It eh hard...just more tedious...u are entitled to ur opinion and me to mine.

The difference is I don't think u are mindless dribbling fool for differing with me.

I not trying to cause any ruction here...but this clicking in shit is drive me crazy when u want quick updates on a game...is like we going backward for immediate info.

If that's the case maybe we can go back to the old warriors forum just for the game updates to get a quick thing..

No offense Flex.

I for one hope to be listening to the game on the radio...I eh have time to click in and out like dis...and wast time to look and see what ppl. writ b4 me.

I will post my updates on another forum...that can be viewed qucker.

Again - no offense Flex...but when u looking for quick info...this clicking in and scanning is real pull stones.

And I understand ur need for not wanting to mess up de board.

Football / still vex about Spann
« on: May 31, 2005, 02:34:06 PM »
Is it just me who is still irked abt. Spann being left out.

The fact is we need men who can take it to the opposition and cause probs.

Spann in mf, would give us the additional luxury of using Yorke up front should we get fed up with Stern.

He is also good on the dead ball.

A sat. midfiedl comprising of Spann, Birchall in the middle...with Tiger and Edwards on the wings...nicely supporting Yorike and Jones...

No Sealey or Glenn to come on the second hlf and cause probs..oh well...Hector Sam and Theobald should do the trick.

Ha ha ha, man! don't make me laugh!

Here in Panama, specially the Football Federation have more information of your suqd that you can imagine!

I see the two videos of the poor games your squad played with Bermuda and a documental passed in a local channel!

What's up doc?

I think if you see our local online newspapers you probably think that We don`t have any idea of our team!

Bye

I'm glad u saw the Bermuda game...we wanted foreigners to see that... ;D

Guess what we have seen ur games too.... ;D

Max G I'm curious as to why u think there's not staff for the HC stad.

Perhaps a long time ago...but I know there is an admin. staff...last time I checked Mark Litrin, an ex QRC footballer was the Marketing Officer.

For my sake enlighten me nah.

Max G I notice u said they should have built it next to one of the existing facilities.but you did not say WHICH  one.

We can not concentrate everything in POS.

We already have the JP Complex, Hazley C. Stad.  and QPO.

The other areas of the country need developing. Just outside of the second largest city is not a prob. the land was prob. cheaper than POS land too.

It's not that big a deal to drive down there. Let POS ppl drive for a change...and yes I'm a town boy.

it will boost the economy of th South for years to come, with all the construction/events to be had.

Traffic will not be congested if it's just outside Marabella as Sam told me.

Maybe there was a better location...but something of this magnitude, I'm glad it wasn't built in congested POS.

Right next to Marabella or even Arima, I have no prob. with that.

how can we drop cox?????? he had a fine second half of the season for gillingham and he coulda really added depth to our defense, at the very least!i wouldve liked to see him still in camp. i hope he does not take this as the final straw and comes back because he really can add alot. why is rojas still there?????at least we can say goodbye to mr phillips.

Cox wasn't dropped -
The regulars from the squad that took on Bermuda all made the cut with the exception of Gillingham defender Ian Cox who then made a decision to return to England this weekend.
Team captain Dwight Yorke is scheduled to arrive in the country on Sunday -

Looks lıke de youth had his own reasons.

I want to assume Spann get leff out becz with the 24 hr. odd travel the Coach figured that wasnt' enough time to evaluate him. But I'm sorry, becz  based on the CR game, he should have been a certaintity.

Dwarika is an enigma, so I eh know wht to say. If u guys have seen him play recently...vent your view.

But Glasgow over Glenn, I still cant understand that one.

We need speed in both halves and somebody to run at the opposition and make smthng happne.

Glenn could have been crucial in the second half.

How could a man go home for a week, train with the national squad and get overweight. He eh seriosly blaming TT for that??

As for automatic picks, he might mean exhibitions...he can't serioulsy expect to START in front of players such as Stern, Jones, Yorke continuously?? But I could understand not wanting to leave the club, travel for 14 hrs. to ride pine for an exhibition....well it look like de youth need to sort out some issues.
