Ricky Hill,

These are viable choices.

Football / Yes, the vibes truly gone
« on: March 27, 2005, 04:43:06 PM »
Sorry fellas but the negatives of this new forum really starting to get to me.

On Fri.  for the first time in the five years that I've been visiting Flex's site, I foung myself getting fed up when visiting the Forum.

Because, with everything being contained in the Gua. TT game thread, I had to enter, then scroll down and figure out what to read first, in terms of who hd the most interesting post.

Also, I had to click in just to have an idea of what was being said.

Now in the old days,  u read everybody subject...posted by whom...and BAM...u picked the post u wanted to read first.

This is a prob. I've experienced on Dave's ESL Page which uses similiar type of forum.

What really gets u is when there are loads of post, having to quickly scan all b4 u choose which to go after and in what order.

I like the modernt technology of this new forum...but as rightly said before, "the vibes gone," the  same character is just not there.

Flex, I eh criticising, becz I know how hard u work...and of course hindsight is 20-20.

But hopefully this is something we can fix up.

Becz if is one site that is like my second home, it's the Flex Forum.

Football / Re: Mex vs USA on Telemundo and ESPN 2 now
« on: March 27, 2005, 03:04:45 PM »
However, USA looked real good on the right, a lot of plays with beasley and  Donovan.

Or was Mex. simply weak on the left.

Donovan a very composed and intelligent player, not flashy but effective.

Football / not really
« on: March 27, 2005, 02:55:43 PM »
The same players, not really.

Back ın 2000, Yorke was more or less in his prime.

Latas and Nakhıd were much more dangerous than today.
Dwarika was a major threat ın the mıdö. and not the enigma that he ıs now.

Angus Eve was younger, faster and better.

CR played the second hald with 10 MEN!!

You could imagine if we had 10 men in Guat...who knows..we might have defended bette4r.

Football / Re: Whats the status with Dog, Glen and Sealy?
« on: March 27, 2005, 01:58:10 AM »
not a bad side...don't realy know much abt. Seaton.

How good will Thobald and Glenn be coming off recent injuries?

They're not interested in Boucad right now...I don't know why.

Would like to see Nix in the mix..his speed and skill would be nice.

Don't take my picks to seriously as I havent seen some of these guys play recently.

But for Wed.

Pierre                                    Dog/Sancho                                             Avery

Edwards                                   Theobald/Spann                                      yorke

I'd like Bouc. but he eh coming

Football / Re: $200,000 bond knock out Stokely Vale.
« on: March 25, 2005, 07:44:44 AM »
They should be happy, when the league first formed it was 750 000 dollars as bond.

Maybe they should call James Bond?? ...  :D ;D

Football / but flex
« on: March 25, 2005, 07:18:49 AM »
it might be better to use the old board, u could see updates faster, here u might have to click in all the time...just my thought.

Or go to the damn chat forum??

HOW can we listen to this game on the Net ?? .... Any info?

Football / Re: PALOS - Radio link for the game
« on: March 24, 2005, 08:36:45 AM »
Well I found the link...homeview..but no mention of the game.

Anybody know what radio station bringing this game.

Football / Re: Timeout fellas. This new forum
« on: March 24, 2005, 08:22:21 AM »
Both sites certainly had their advantages...

This one is more modern, but as one man put it, "the vibes gone."

Hindsight is 20 20. I'm sure Flexos will listen to our input, and as usualy will continue to impress us with his changes.

That option RF talk about sounds quite attractive.

Football / PALOS - Radio link for the game
« on: March 24, 2005, 06:23:01 AM »
Will that radio station u suscribe to be carrying the game?

If so can u post the link, so man can subscribe..

Football / Re: Scott Sealey scores again
« on: March 23, 2005, 11:19:56 AM »
I'm sorry to hear that, we needed minimum three men to keep them off balance.

Glenn and Theobald were two.

That's why I wanted Nixon in the mix. He would have been great to bring on in the second half.

Football / Re: Scott Sealey scores again
« on: March 23, 2005, 10:21:38 AM »
Is Sealy comaprative in pace to Glenn and Nixon?

I'm assuming that he is.

Football / Re: Doubt over Andrews for Guatemala game
« on: March 21, 2005, 06:23:52 AM »
oh boy...two defenders...a forward and a midfielder..

And all of them were crucial for this game.

Football / Re: Warriors assemble in Miami today
« on: March 20, 2005, 01:27:22 PM »
VB...it get to de point whey I wouldn't be surprised if dah "honduras game" was jes a bone dey trow at de public to mek dem feel as if dey doin sumting wit regards to team preparation.

Maybe dis game was never likely to happen but dey release de info anyway.

Remember.....dis is de same TTFF who couldn't organise ONE single practice game fuh we Under 20 footballers before dey U20 WCQ's in de States.

How much time you read where dey announce practice game only fuh dem games to fall through?

Think bout it

I can only hope u are wrong.

If this is true, then they are only digging a bigger hole for themselves.

Oh well...we catching ass as usual.

Football / Touches
« on: March 20, 2005, 12:33:59 PM »
Touches u forget to mention in those same months..

The win vs. Hond. was VERY lucky.

We drew with an American B team that had already qualified and was coasting, allowing it's younger players to get a sweat.

We played ALL OVER JA and catch ass to score, going down 2-1.

But I believe if given a chance to put something in place we would have done allright with Simoes.

But boss after Ports...I would have accepted just about anybody with open arms.

Football / Re: Warriors assemble in Miami today
« on: March 20, 2005, 12:29:16 PM »
I eh de biggest TTFF fan, but let's use a little common sense here.

The match get cancelled with about four days notice.

In some cases tickets have been bought already for players to go to the US.
Where is the money going to come from to bring another team to plays us in the US??

U think J'ca, Haiti or Cuba going to pay for that themselves?

It would have been nice though, if Jack coulda swing some clout and organise with an MLS team to play us.

I understand Hond. wanting to cancel the game, but there should be a rule of how many days before. They have basically screwed up our preps. at the last minute, and there's not much we can do about it.

Football / Re: Trinidad vs. Guatemala
« on: March 20, 2005, 04:42:40 AM »
No boss. was only in Greece for two days.

But making a quick trip to Bulgaria in about two weeks..

Is this professional?
Was a contract signed??

Then ppl. could just f6%$ off when they want.

Oh well...I guess if I was getting yankee dollars I might try to buss  a skulls too.

Football / Re: Trinidad vs. Guatemala

For those of u close to Toronto.

Check the latin pubs in little Italy...those men DON'T joke when it comes to ftbl.

This will be on St. Claire Ave at the intersection of St. Claire and Dufferin....East on St. Claire.

and my advice is go early...becz men is line up for so to get in,,,depending on the game.

Football / Re: Warriors in Miami
« on: March 19, 2005, 02:55:19 AM »
The average cost per ticket should only bea $1000.00 US, even if some tickets
are more, bear in mind that players are also coming from TT and the US and their tickets will be less.

Thus an average of 1000 dllrs per players seems logical.

Factor in travelling to Guat. and double the figure, that's $2000.00 per player....30 ppl....60 000 dollars.

But if everybody travelling F. Class...well what ah could tell yuh.

Jokes / Re: Allyuh have to see dis
« on: March 19, 2005, 02:47:27 AM »
Give de white boy credit.
He throw down the lyrics nice.

Football / who to throw out
« on: March 18, 2005, 10:27:05 AM »
I wouldn't throw out anybody.

I would let the boy train with the team and then decide who to throw out.

Dwarika was left out after training...ah could live with that...he eh playingn no ftbl.

Roug..seems to be over the hill...at least they give him a chance.

Rahim...I just don't understand what happened with that man.

But Bouc. was the find of 2004...being on the bench is not reason enough to drop him.

Football / Re: T&T put faith in foreign legion
« on: March 18, 2005, 09:38:17 AM »
Just this week I was wondering about Cox

Can anyone tell me why they are ignoring Boucad??

Football / palos
« on: March 17, 2005, 02:09:32 PM »
Palos u crack me up dey yes.

quite frankly if we are to do without Glenn and Theobald..our potency will be greatly mitigated.

I would be pleasantly surprised if we get two pts. from these encounters.

And that's just not good enough..if we serioulsy expect to qualify we need minimum four.

Oh well...ah hoping as fu^%$%& usual.

What about Track & Field / CLEMENT NOT INTERESTED IN TT
« on: March 13, 2005, 06:09:07 AM »
As said by others, Clement is not interested in representing TT.

They tried like hell to get him for the World YCs some time ago, and the man made it abundantly clear that he was ONLY interested in representing the US.

« on: March 12, 2005, 06:59:19 AM »

I finally get around to asking about Rasim Kara.

Actually met one of his proteges who played for Turkey at U-16 level.

Bottom line is the man is now a coach in the Azerbaijan First Div.

FK Khazar Lenkoran is the club.

Football / Re: I depressed as Hell
« on: March 12, 2005, 06:11:20 AM »
A year ago I certainly wouldn't have classified him as "irreplacable," however, after the load we have constantly put down in the mf for the last year...unless somebody have crystal ball, I would really hate to do without him.
