Well it's the January transfer window and I'm not hearing or seeing anything about Peltier & the others being linked with any clubs. Portsmouth probably would have used him with all those African players missing for the next few weeks had he been signed.

Any news??

I think he has to wait a year to reapply for a work permit

He certainly does, wil be interesting to see if we go for him again

Hi, yea we are doing quite well at the moment. Our academy team is matching our first team as well so if someone is given the chance to join they will be given everychance through academy under Paul Hart.

Looks a good prospect. Lets hope if the TTFF give him a bit more backing if needed than they did for Peltier.

Hi again, does anyone know how much % the sell on clause for Kenwyne Jones was?

Redknapp to plead trio's case.
By: James Pearson (Sky Sport).
[/size]

Harry Redknapp will make a personal appeal for Trinidad & Tobago starlets Lester Peltier, Khaleem Hyland and Atullah Guerra to secure work permits. The trio impressed while on trial with the South Coast side and have been offered deals to stay permanently with Pompey, but one major stumbling block remains.
Work permits are required for any non-EU players to play in England, and, as yet, the trio are awaiting a verdict from the Football Review Panel to begin their careers in the country.
Agents Paul Mohamed and Steve Davies of DMC Sports Management, who brokered the deals, are confident their clients will be given the nod, although other avenues are available should a negative result be delivered.
German outfit Hertha Berlin and Dutch outfit Ajax have shown an interest in the trio and may revive their interest should the players fail to win their fight to play in England.
"We have been informed by Work Permits UK that leave to appeal to the Football Review Panel has been granted," Mohamed told skysports.com.
"We expect the panel to be convened sometime next month when Harry Redknapp and Paul Hart will attend to plead the case for the players.
"We are confident of a positive verdict given the undoubted talent of the three players.
"In fact all three are currently in a training camp with the Trinidad & Tobago National squad in preparation for the Concacaf Gold Cup in the USA next month.
"All three players are delighted at the prospect of joining a progressive Premiership club such as Portsmouth and working with people of the calibre of Paul Hart (director of youth) and Harry Redknapp.
"They enjoyed their time with the club earlier this year and are keen to build a career in English football.
"Given their talent and the confidence Portsmouth have in them I don't think it will be long before any of them appear in the first team."

If someone can help I can get all the T&T starlets entering the FIFA U-17 Tournament onto the football management game Football Manager. I dont know whether the FIFA website will have this later on.

For every player of every squad though I would as a minimum require though

First Name
Last Name
Date of Birth OR Year of Birth
Position

Extras if known

Current Club
Height
Weight

No its not that, I just trying to gauge what level of players they would slot into now.

Because even though they are young the years between 16-19 is where you develop most and all 3 are over that age threshold

Skysports.com understands Portsmouth are closing in on the signings of Trinidad & Tobago trio Lester Peltier, Khaleem Hyland and Atullah Guerra

The San Juan Jabloteh stars impressed Pompey boss Harry Redknapp during a recent training stint at Fratton Park.

The midfield trio are regarded as three of the brightest young talents to emerge from Trinidad & Tobago and Hyland has already featured for the national team.

A number of clubs are thought to be chasing the three players with Ajax and Hertha Berlin expressing an interest in them.

However, Portsmouth are determined to land the exiting trio and have offered them four-year deals to move to the South Coast.

Agents Steve Davies and Paul Mohamed of DMC Sports Management have helped broker the deal and Davies revealed Portsmouth have begun the process of obtaining work permits for the trio.

"Portsmouth are very keen to sign the three players after they impressed during their time at the club," Davis told skyports.com.

"Harry Redknapp is a big fan of them and he believes they can have a big future in the game.

Hi there,

Finally got approval to post here.

Don't know whether any of you play the game the but I do the research for Portsmouth on Football Manager 2007. Part of this process involves trying to find out little bits of information.

I have followed this thread for the past couple of days and a couple of things stand out for me.

Is there confrimation he has Dutch Citizenship, if so anyone have a link saying for definite that he has?
Does anyone have his Date of Birth?
Also his league history, appearances and goals?

Don't know whether any of you have seen it but alot of people use this site for getting their regular sports news

http://www.newsnow.co.uk/newsfeed/?name=Portsmouth (select whatever club down on the left hand side)

Has anyone got any videos of Peltier in action at all?

Cheers

Andrew
