I actually understand what he is trying to say(though I don't fully agree!)....he is saying Dwight could have handled the situation better as the racist comments aimed at him were quite lightweight compared to most racist taunts that occur in football matches. Trust me I have witnessed it first hand on a few occasions and what was reported in the press that happened to Yorke is quite petty in comparison. Yorke should not have jumped over the advertising hoarding and had it out with the fan as it could have made the situation much worse, especially as Blackburn fans already think he didn't give 100% for them on the field, some fans were just looking for an excuse to get their own back. The issue I have with the
idiot Sullivan is he thought his view on the episode important enough to express it in the press.....that is why he got no support from his collegues. Who in their right mind is gonna fully back a person that makes statements publicly which make light of racist abuse. Racist abuse is Racist abuse, major or minor I have no issue with Dwight taking the matter further just the way he handled it initially. It is obivious Sullivan has personal issues with Yorke(We all know his opinion as he has given his views on Yorke since this incident)....its a shame he had to use such a topic to take a pot shot, the man is (as the British say) a

Rodney, Racism is Racism whether it is lightweight or blatant. This is what people fail to realize. If you give someone an inch they will take a yard." racist comments aimed at him were quite lightweight compared to most racist taunts that occur in football matches"
This is back in the colonial days type of mentality.....
