KND- I agree give it to Sports , but spread the Facilities around with that amount of money , not in one place in one area. That is all men are saying.
Another thing - How many athlethes made it big and trained and stayed at home. Big Fish in small pond- Ask Dwarika.

I see People using the word Vision
The Good book says- Where there is no Vision the People Perish
Well= Vision must be practical, attainable and must be of benefit for the greater good. The question is- Not where the money is coming from , but where the money is going to.
The money will be better spent in building Communities- Where was Latapy unearthed. Logie, and others. Ask WES Hall how it was done.
Politicians like monuments- to say I build that- Remember Wrightson Road and the plaque.
Hey dont let politicians divide us in this Forum.

LOts Of potential, yet to shine. Maybe he needs more playing time. It would be great For T&T if he links well with Chris in midfield for Portvale

Will someone in T&T get a form and nominate TAllman & Flex for a national Award. This is the best Damn Sports Forum in the Entire Caribbean- pulling people or should I saw uniting people from all over the world and keeping us abreast of all that is happening with T&T football.
If I dont get it here first, it is just not available.

I now know why I have never taken To Man United- Thank you Palos;
It is the RED Devil Thing. We are not friends- Like Solomon, I pray for Wisdom and Understanding. This Free will thing and the choices one must make , create a conflict with this Devil thing. I prefer to deal with Red Worriors.
I started off with Spurs and then when my nephew made Arsenal First team at age sixteen- David Rocastle. I became a Fan.
Then that idiot George Graham sold him to Leeds and that was that.
Well, I have a soft spot for Chelsea, so you know where I am coming from.
If the truth be told , the only club I was ever passionate about was Malvern- when General Franco captained the side, with the likes of Berassa. Niles, Hodge , Lamkin, Jap Brown,

Then My hero Buggy Haynes era- That man gave 100 percent. It was blood, sweat and Tears.
If this T&T team could play with that passion- Germany here we come.

My My - How the truth offends. Respect has to be earned in every sphere of human endeavor. After the Gold Cup fiasco we are the lightweights in the hex.
Now as a player that statement should be a motivating factor to silence the USA.
But it has to start in the mind. In fairness to Arena, after he saw the last twenty minutes of our fight in the first game, he did say that we would take some points in the hex. Let the points start with USA, and I dont mean One but three.
ITIS TIME WE SHOW THEM THAT WE ARE WORRIORS

Well, I see that you are giving Gally !0,000 a month for three months to win some trophies. Let us see what will happen at the end of the InterCol season. I heard the prevailing logic was - Look what Maureno did with Chelsea, so pass the bread to Gally.
What about the pool of Players, are you going to buy players if you follow the Chelsea model.
Is this a new thrend in Youth Football. If it will bring results,eg- make the switch to international level- To God be the Glory.

Those were the 40's and 50's boots. Say what they were excellent for protecting one's ankles. So a old Malvernite told me.
What happened to the rubber boots that we played Mervina league in the 70's.

Hi Sam
If the Jacob in this creative poem is the biblical Jacob, then I must add that at least Jacob climbed a ladder and was going upward.
This team climbing downwards after the Goal Cup.

Alberta Trini- You seem to have a very analytical Mind. A wonderful gift to be endowed with, and I know that Discipline and hard work has brought you to this point of your being.
Think on this- In a book"From Good to great ", the writer is of the view that one has to get the right people on the bus before the Leader can drive the bus.
I am not.sure that we have the right people on the Bus for this W/Q campaign. It seems to me that we also have to ask some people to get Off the bus.

Part of our Football culture problem is that THE GOOD IS OFTEN THE ENEMY OF THE BEST

Money- The lack of commitment, shit that they play- they should give back the money to TTFF. Had I been the manager, the only players that I would pay would be - DOG- Jack and Giraffe.
Listen man- It took me two hrs on the road to get home after the first match against Honduras. I got home 2.30 in the morning. Vex like hell, because -no heart and Soul. Now I hear they asking for money.

They dont even deserve to be called Professionals, with that kind of performance.
I was home last week and saw some clips of Noray and Johnson. At least they look Goal hungry, that is what we need up front.

Jack at least put his money where his mouth is. In Fifa you have to respect Jack and he has done a lot for CONCACAF. He can be annoying at times, but who pays the piper calls the tune. That is the reality pf the situation

« on: July 18, 2005, 02:40:55 PM »
Plan- What Plan. The man's job is to get us to the World Cup.
The players will come a couple of days before the game, Bennie will explain how he wants them to play and hopefully , they will get a result.
Then it on to the next game. He already knows his line up, so his competence is in the use of subs as he did against Panama.

I agree Tallman- We were competitive and for the last twenty minutes we had a confidence that I had not seen since the strike squad days.
Maybe we need a mental coachfor the rest of the WCQ.
