I agree Feliziano with your post, yet had Trinidad taken their chances against Honduras and panama, we would have made the second rounds.
Added to that we have been giving up soft, stupid, asinine goals

Brilliant - Alberta Trini. I think Leo wanted to see new faces. I also think that he believes Stern John is our best forward and hopes that he will get it right, hence the reason for the captain"s armband.
Iam concerned like you that for every two steps forward we are making two steps backward. It is too much a  hit or miss with this side.
I started the game  with confidence that Honduras was good for two after Stern throw away a sitter and Chris Goal.

When Honduras started to exploit our weakness and they were so obvious,It looked like we were good for three. We seem to have improved in the defensive area and fallen down in the offensive department.

Let us see if they are looking in the Mirror. Maybe they need a Psychologist coach.

Everybody else had a decent game- Not the game I saw and confirmed by Tallman at the end. Jack, Dog, Andrews , Birchill, a little hope in Samuel.
That was it. Maybe the 9'oclock start had them lazy. I still wonder about Leo's choice of subs. We needed Glen or someone else to run at the defence. Palos made a post re the Canada Game and he was spot on, it seems that the Coaching staff did not see it.
We have to pray that Edwards and Yorke stay fit, else it is later for we in the W/C

TRINiWings- I am in total agreement with your Report.
Jack and Tallman were outstanding. Birchell played his heart out.
We need Two forwards who will run to goal and a midfielder who will do what Samuel did on a regular basis.

Man getting ready to move. Orlando posse just show up in my yard. A pee stop they tell me,and want to know if the madam cook pelau. I told them on they way down South stop of at Joy, as the Roti shop close down in West Palm Beach.
Men drunk already. I had to advise that they cannot take Rum in the people stadium.
Trini"s sweet for so.

I am an Argentina fan- After Argentina destroyed Brazil in the WC preliminary, I said like the commentators that Argentina will win the WC.
Well after seeing the Brazilian Samba at the Confed Cup, one has to ask Questions?. It has to do with Form. Grouping and Injuries in the Final Round.
Let me here say that with the luck of the draw , if T&T make a good showing at the Gold cup, we just might be the Camerroon of the next W/C

The man want the wuk. I am reminded of the arqument about Local  vs Foreign coach, and this nonsense about Culture. Check it out the Teams and countries that are doing well. all have foreign coaches.
I am upset that one of the posters have compared Sanchez with my Chelsea coach. Morinho has a proven track record and is cut above the others. Cockroach has no business in fowl party.

The Politics Getting in the way. If Jack was PNM - Seabra would be a citizen today. Small mindedness. We major in Minors and think we are first world. Just look at what USA dowith talented foreign players- ADu is a case in point.

Well I am glad that Spann and Sam , we share something in commom. Great minds think alike.

Well done Fellas- At least the man has options. Hope to see the forumites on Wednesday. Sorry that I am missing the Rest of games in Miami as I am leaving for T&T on Friday.
I will be with Touches and the local posse on Saturday.
Remember to make some noise

Now That is Role model- Some Firms need to sponsor the man to go around the Schools and just tell his story. That- being Poor is not a reason for staying poor nor is it an excuse to steal.

I agree with Santa Cruz- Hit the ball from outside the box. When Argentina beat Brazil 3-1. the shots were taken outside the box. In the Confed Finals, argentina was passing the ball in the box.
It is also good for the game to have goals rather than boring draws.

Please Maradona- like the original Maradona, it seems that you just drank a cocktail and make this post. Stop wasting time.
He is not even an average coach. Parents control who will get pick and who must bench.
Please give us a break.

In Total agreement with both posts. I am at a loss as to how Alvin arrived at this big position. His claim to fame is that he played football and cricket for the West Indies.
Maybe it is time to give the young posters on this Forum, a little play.
Start packing- Touches, Patriot , Triniwins, Tallman, etal.
I will check out Jack at the hilton on Tuesday and make a case for new blood.
Stay tuned.

Football / Re: If we qualify would you Welcome Latapy ?
« on: June 23, 2005, 01:48:40 PM »
Fellas- Forget the emotion. When we Qualify we want the best players on the field . If Zamora is scoring goals and performing at a high level, by all means bring him in.
What did Simones do with Jamaica- Remember the arqument, every tom, dick and harry with a Jamaican parent got called, if they were playing at a higher level.
The best team is what we are loking at- save us the emotion, that is why it is called a Sport

Football / Re: With Beenhakker is TnT a top 20 side?
« on: June 23, 2005, 05:28:48 AM »
AsK me that Question after the Gold cup. Firstly, Beenie will have the men for a week. Secondly by now he would have seen most of the core players and thirdly the players confidence is very high.
This Gold Cup is a bench marker for where we are, and a good dress rehersal for Germany.
What did Bertille say- Building one brick at a time. Good philosophy, his problem was that he did not know which brick to place where.

Let us be grateful and say Thank God we have three Goalkeepers fighting for the no 1 spot. Ironically, our TD was one of the best in Concacaf and coached in the USA. maybe some one should ask him- who is the best presently.
have we forgotten that shaka did shit between the uprights against Guatemala, and was dropped against Costa Rica,
Leave the coaching and selection to the men on spot.

I am of the view that Ince was scared to go to Mexico, thinking we would nave gotten six, and came up with that lame excuse,
Time for talk.

I already ask my sister to bring forward her son"s  wedding in England so that I will be able to kill two birds with one trip. My brother plans to make the lime.
Who knows I may even take Touches so that he will give the Forumites some serious reporting.

Football / CORNELL GLENN A must against USA
« on: June 11, 2005, 07:17:52 PM »
I saw Glenn against Colorado today and he was running at the defence and showed good positioning to get his head on Crosses. We need his speed up the wing. It seems as though he will start with Stern up front , with Yorke in midfield.
Then Scotland is also in the mix.

The More things change the more they remain the same,

Lets get on with the Loving and leave the judging to God.

This T&T team gave the nation something to shout about last Sunday.

Let's show some gratitude and keep the positive vibes.
