we need another striker to play with glenn next game...jones wasting too many chances...

KJ has been our best player over the 3 games and you want to sub him? And Im not a KJ fan, but this tournament he has elevated his game big time. All of our goals in this tournament was either directly or indirectly as a result of KJ. He definitely need Glenn next to him, but to play without him is nonsense talk!

Agreed he might not have been the ultimate best player but because of him we are dangerous up top. A goal and an assist is not a bad game by any means. Still can't win without him at this point.

Boucard and Molino need to start, both players had a good game. Molino actually taking on players. That is what we missing in our game.

Ent??  Whole tournament dey playing like dey fraid....

Definitely Molino, Glen and Boucaud was the difference in the performance.

it hard to compare theobold to latas, but in watching that 7 minute video how many times you see latas turn backwards towards his defense or make a backward pass? Even when he is facing his defense and receiving a ball from them its always an attacking turn or an attacking run. never have i seen theobold do this, yet he is our center midfielder. horrible.

Jan was poor tonight and was poor in the first game too, outside of the late reflex save. That first goal he got against El Salvador was poor. The free kick was down the middle. His reaction was poor because he set a wall and couldnt see the ball. the next time he saw it was when it was whizzing past his hand and down the middle of the goal. tonight that first goal was poor as well.

Not that i against lateral passes but it is not the best answer to T&T problems at the moment.

55% possession and 0 shots on goal. that says it all. Bunch of negative football....being led by a negative playing midfielder!

on another note roberts and hyland real shit down dey self, and our central defenders was well beaten for pace.

when we play teams with speed we have to counter attack, not lead the attack.

i believe stephen hart got it wrong wid jamal gay, he has no quality whatsoever!!!

and then again we suffered two injuries. it's like somebody went and shake ah boule on that field last night, can't believe how unlucky we were.

PS: jovin jones is ah great find, hope he's healthy for the next game. and yeh hyland was poor yet again.

Only thing i can agree with yuh here is that Gay is shit. Hyland was our ONLY midfielder in the game. He needs help. He cant always have a player next to him, he needs another midfielder in front of him. Theobold needs to come off and put someone who can make positive passes alongside Hyland. Roberts playing out of position and still had a decent enough game despite his horrible miss. KJ played as good as he could. Daniel and Carlos were disappointing tonight, but overall, I cant stand theobold wearing my national colors!! Jones is a player...was our best player tonight.

The only person besides myself who was talking bout this Haitian team was BrownSugar. I told you all this Haitian team too atheletic for our slow play. Hyland needs help in the middle and we need some with skill and pace to work off of KJ. Zero creativity in this team currently.

As I said after the El Salvador game, if T&T coming to play that slow ball, bad passing game they will get punished. Haiti change their high press from the Honduras game because they know all we have is a long pass to KJ, so they just sitting back waiting for that and they picking it off easily. On d flip side, we have no answer for Louis in their middle and he doing what he want in this game. If they don't pick up the pace in the attack we will lose this game. Hart made some good adjustments last game let's see what he does in this game.

Its been a 7 year stinker brethren. Never have I seen a player who is as negative as him! I can't say I have seen him play a good game for T&T. NEVER! I can't understand how he continues to get picked!!

Its definitely going to be a pro Haitian crowd, but in terms of the game, I'm curious who going to stop that Louis boy from Haiti in our midfield. Definitely not Bleeder! This game is a trouble game for T&T. The only thing we have going for us is Haiti don't have a proven goalscorer on their team. They totally outplayed probably the best team in our group and totally took them out of their game, especially in the first half. It will be interesting to see T&T try to maintain possession against this Haitian teams speed, high pressure and physicality. We can't afford to make the amount of bad passes we made in the El Salvador game on Friday or we will be punished. On the flip side, we need to continue the offensive play we had in the 2nd half of tonight's game.

Dang them Haitians lack ball sense.  Our players actually making better decisions than them.  But you can't match their physicality and pace though.  That alone can take them a long way. 

And their willingness to attack. T&T can take a page out of the Haitians book.

Theobald is like Daren Ganga; technically good, good discipline, not bad vision... just not good enough in his actually influence over the game. He doesn't penetrate in attacking and he doesn't sure things up in defence. He is a good passer, but I wouldn't put him on the field over Birchall. With Birchall at least I know I have someone who will strike the ball at goal occasionally. Although I know he hasn't been in good form recently. Just feels like Theobold hasn't been in good form... ever, except for that one time versus Greneda? Look, I know he isn't a bad player, I don't dislike him. But Captain? I feel like the captain should be hittin men frequent in the tackles or have the opposing keeper worried. Theobald does neither. I just don't think he's good enough.   


Otherwise though, great game. Massive improvements since Peru. The defence definitely needs to sure up. But i'm happy. Hoyte was good, as was Edwards (though he should have been way more clinical infront of goal) Hyland was strong, skillful and confident. Daniel was great, though he made a couple too many mistakes, Jones was all fight and did very well to make that goal. Williams wasn't bad in goal though I think he could have stopped both goals (though they were both good) I did very much like Mitchell in the back and I was surprised Jones in defence. Powers was very good at time, a few too many mistakes though and our left back is definitely suspect. Still great improvement, looking forward to the rest of the matches.

I cant disagree with anything you saying here!! Theobold does nothing for us besides play negative football. 90% of his passes are backward or lateral. He so negative he got an opportunity in the middle of the field to take space in front of him, an El Salvodor player was 5 yards behind him and anticipated him turning back, so he did, and Theobold turned the ball over. It was a great opportunity to ignite a counter attack. I'll take Birchall any day once fit. Hyland was a boss in the middle...i really enjoyed his game today along with Daniel. Probably the best game I've seen from him in T&T colors and it wasn't a great game by any means but he was effective. Carter was a goat! Carlos needs to play the entire game. When he was on we had our best chances, when he was off we had nothing offensively. I was mad as hell with how we played the last 30 mins of the first half. Hart made some key adjustments in the 2nd and we looked very dangerous offensively, which was a joy to see. Good outing from the boys.

Much better 2nd half offensively. We have alot of work to do defensively. Good outing though. Best goal I've seen from KJ in T&T colors.
