It's a pity that Celtic game is on a Sunday, that game is on the 6th and Bahrain is on the 12th. Those old legs could do with an extra day of rest.

as a Waggonist ... I agree , I reckon the other 4 games are more important for Falkirk as they are the sort of games we need to win to avoid relegation , Falkirk could let Latas travel early and let him have a rest ahead of the play-offs by dropping him for the Celtic game - a game Falkirk will probably lose  :-[

but ... as a Falkirk supporter I'm tied between the thought of a Latapy inspired Falkirk possibly winning against Celtic or letting him go and improving our chances of seeing a Falkirk player take the field (and score  ;)) on the World's stage .

Can Leo Beenhakker request he doesn't play on the Sunday ?

welcome falkirk posse.

denzil theobald from the T & T national squad might be joining you soon.

Falkirk FC's playing budget means Denzil won't be offered a contract until January if at all !

how's David Atiba Charles been playing ?

Ned wha yuh talking about clashes.  Yuh ever hear bout FIFA regulation?  And besides,Jack Warner will exercise he authority.

the '' smillie was supposed to show I was having a wee joke - there's no way FFC would let Latas miss those games , I'd love to see a Falkirk player take the field in Germany .

Any dates set aside for the Bahrain games ?

FFC might not let you have Latas if it clashes with an SPL game

I'm guessing Densill won't like our weather much - currently 54°

so what's he like ? where in midfield does he like to play ?

Falkirk's midfield is pretty strong just now , he'd have to go some to break into the starting line-up at the moment , we could do with some center-backs though - who's the next Dog ?

Latapy has been playing just behind the front two this season in the position Strip has put him in above .

I can't say I've seen him make a defensive tackle in 3 years at Falkirk .

ok latapy back....keep in mind he is 37 years  now...older than Yorke and he could only make it in 1st/2nd Division Scottish Club...not too impressive,

*ahem*

Russell has never played in the 2nd Division , he's spent 3 seasons in the 1st Division - on two occasions his sides (Hibs and Falkirk) won the league at a canter and he was named Player Of The Year - the other season was when Falkirk played all their home games at another ground whilst their new stadium was being built .

he is currently ripping defences apart in the SPL .

here to help  ;)

Has anyone seen Falkirk this season to give us  a report on how good our boy looking?
yes - I've seen him dominate the midfield in 4 SPL games this season - including the game at Celtic Park where he outshone their big money new signing Shunsuke Nakamura - the Wee Man is on fire at the moment , he scored the opener in our win over Livingston .

Russell has been playing just behind the front two and most of the play goes through him , sometimes he tries to do too much when the easy option would've been better but that is just nit-picking , he might be playing at a 'smaller' SPL side but you can still see he has quality .

what's your chances of qualification - it would be outstanding to have a Falkirk player in the World Cup - good luck  ;)

Edit just a quick edit having read through some other posts - Russell has been running his socks off for the entire 90 minutes this season - there can be no doubts about his fitness or ability to last an entire game
