« on: July 12, 2011, 11:47:45 AM »
Funny thing is that Latas had this assured option in front of him before choosing the national team role.

Hope he looks at the stint here as a learning experience rather than a setback and takes the lessons gained in stride going forward and hope his stint here served him in good stead.

All the best, hope he returns to contribute to the NT again in the future.
Alyu good yes, after what Latas went through here alyu still talking about come back to coach national team, what lessons have he gained, you eh see all those guys who leave these shores don't come back and the few that comes back are not appreciated
I'm glad you all know he had other options and choose T&T which means he cared, his heart was his country and the peeps he loved, anyone would be disappointed in situations like this,Coach to Coach Breds i wish you all the best with what ever plans you have for the future, coming back to coach a national team should not be in those
 plans.

Football / Re: Warriors June 1 friendly off
« on: May 08, 2011, 04:47:23 PM »
It's for years now that LP's recommendations and efforts have run opposite to the direction taken by Look Loy, Corneal, Shabazz, and Groden. If there is an official change to the TD post  it only comes long after he was marginalized and undermined for years by that same group. But, that seems to be how folks like it. The deterioration of the national programs since '07 and recent confusion of the June friendly is clear sign that LP hasn't been a key player in the TTFF for years.

if i was the T&T...assign good assistant to my staff...defend  and midfield...ah think we lack in that area....possession of the ball another thing...play faster and play off the ball...but start with building from the back....so my first player Lloyd Samuel lead the defend with Chris Birchall and Carlos Edward to lead the midfield and Kenwyne Jones to lead the forward

You don't think its funny that so many players have been discarded and so many coaches have been sacked over the years but not a single high ranking TTFF member has ever had to resign? Think about that.

No coach no matter how good or independent they are can do anything now for T&T other than win a few games against minnows. I would question the motives and mental capacity of anybody who wants to work with the TTFF at this point. If you want to join the old boys club den go thru. If you looking to make a difference or are motivated by patriotism you will be sorely disappointed because you will gain nothing and be hung out to dry. Better to check St. Vincent, Grenada, B'dos, St Kitts or go/stay in N. America. Let the TTFF rot.

Zandolie..yep  you are right,i been saying the samething...cause lastnight on 7pm new i saw cornmeal giving dutch coaching instruction course and shabazz as well....it's all a mary go round

TTFF is a closed family of go getter....no shame what so ever....is the same people year in and year out even went they fail...they get a next go around....like socapro say enough is enough...but like i said...all have to drop dead first before any major change .... so people get used to it....WE GOING THOURGHT THE DARK AGES WITH THE TTFF...nuff said

I will always feel it for the boys on the field but the results speak for themselves

WE ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH, let those who compete and win be the ones to represent the region at all levels

We have to keep losing, the proof will always be in the results, the administration needs to go

and you really think they don't know that...they f-ing do...but with no heart and pride they not saying or doing anything to better the team that respresent Trinidad and Tobago at all level...and that a damn shame...these men seeing and reading the same thing we are....but don't have a clue but decided to stay cause it's all about a pay check at the end of the day....where is Lincoln Phillip...knowing he being around U.S. soccer...but his mouth is shut...Camp...he like never had a clue....as long Jack in charge he will be there till he drop dead...look- roy and cornmeal....these guy play the game local and internationally...yet still being out dated by the game and the funny thing about it...none is saying anything or doing anything with there head in the sand...WOW WHAT A F-ING SHAME...cause they know it all about getting pay at the end of the day....

Ive stayed away from posting for a while because Im disgusted with the state of trinidad and tobago football but watching those highlights confirmed for me we dont have a clue what it takes to be a power in world football anymore...and what is even more disappointing is that our administration doesnt have a clue either. I mean basic elements of the game were exposed in all of those five goals we conceded....and they going to move forward doing the same things on the senior level! pitiful is all i can say!!

Anyhow i wish them the best moving forward....where that is only time will tell. :beermug:

dread...only headache after the third goal.....and i telling myself where is the TD in all this...why we keep making the same mistake over and over again and no change...the people who are running TTFF from Jack  all the way down don't care about the development but care what go into there pocket....cause you can tell me you seeing ta ta like that at all level of the game from U15 to senior and not say or make serious change or even stop all international game and start over from basic up....TTFF ADMINISTRATER DON'T CARE  AND THEY HAVE NO PRIDE...IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY EVERYONE IS GETTING AT THE END OF THE MONTH....it's only after someone get firer who is part of the administration you may here they say this and that and they doing thing wrong but while they are in there they not saying anything cause everything is safe...and that the bottom line

fellas i now get it...from the head of TTFF to the players don't have a cue to solved there problem...just reading post message on this forum...have me thinking that it not about the game anymore...it's all about the MONEY, MONEY , cause TD Lincoln Phillip  ain't saying anything..... all he does it seem is to collected a check...Jack the big fish of TTFF and Concacaf...is there for the money...he don't care if T&T qualify at any level of international football...cause why would he waste money on each national went he and everyone else could see that we are lacking in alot of area....and keep hirein international coach to try and solved the problem ...and hold on to coaches who has fail...still give them a change to fail again...and the president Camp...Jack right hand man.....is not doing anything...but wainting for his check....FAN'S OF TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO FOOTBALL....FOOTBALL IS DEAD IN TRINBAGO ....EVERY YEAR THE STANDARD IS GOING DOWN AND DOWN...and the people in charge all they doing is chancing the coach to solved the problem

Alyuh want Jack to dish out marchin papers...but that won't solved the problem...what the TTFF and Lincoln Phillip need to do is shut down TTFF with all level...and start from the beginning...teaching coaches in Trinibago tecnique of the game...and players...how to keep the ball...running into space...hold possession of the ball...etc....just total basic

Football / Re: Thread for the T&T vs Mexico U-20 Game (01-Apr-11).

The main problem is that we (T&T) are very slow in all aspects of the game.  Slow to close down opposing players, slow to tackle, slow to get back, slow to pass the ball, slow to run into the open space, slow to trap, slow to think and move period.    Mexico is running into our half in numbers and our guys are jogging and looking around.  The guys were able to play ok against cuba because cuba was also slow and lacking intensity, but Mexico is on a different level.  3-0 to mexico and we still in the first half.  This T&T team is not ready yet.

yuh think!!!!!!!!!!! it seem everyone know that except the player's and coached...WHAT A SHAME

Cuba already beat them at U-17 level in T&T. But its a whole new day and a much different team. Go T&T

its seem to me that Trinidad and Tobago team and i mean at all level have a problem keeping a lead...why that so hard for these guy's who represent a country can't understand that.....don't they know everyone have to defence went it come to playing a team like this or any other...and i mean the whole team not just the defenders...i know its a friendly...but a friendly say alot as a real game ..what you do in practice is what you do in game ....and another thing...POSSESSION IS KEY TO WINNING...you have to be hungary for the ball all the time...and i know they know this...but they not doing it...ACTION SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS...oh my goodness?
