How old is Lakyle? I am very familiar with Man City U18 and EDS but have never heard of him from U14 to Reserve.

Lakyle is J'lloyd Samuel's son. He's very young. He must be like 10 lol

T&T Couldn't beat my spice boys but you know I love both teams  ;D

Should have been up by 5 in the first half for T&T. But T&T throw away chances!

Wincester alone should have had a hattrick and Williams two.

Second half continue the same, Lewis miss a breakaway, and a tap in the ball dropped at his feet and Hector blast a sitter wide also.

Frustrating! But good football playing wise, possession and penetration just TT have no strikers for the top level

My statement stands  ;D

would've been better to beat them at home but 4 points out of 2 games is good considering the opportunity. That is how much points I would've expected T&T to collect+

Seriously, T&T have got to take this now. Will the stadium be packed for this? What is the feel amongst the people in T&T right now?

Nice. Nothing wrong with having something like this as long as it doesn't start interfering with national teams and trying to exterminate them!

If the man is enjoying his life than fairplay to him. If he is taking care of responsibilities then he is doing his job as a man but I can't help but think how good this guy could've been. At Sunderland he was a decent striker heading for good things and now his ability has plummeted! He think he is capable if getting 15 goals (no more than that) a season in PL but it just seemed like he stopped trying. I've seen his first touch in front of goal mess up or blast the ball over the bar so many times now. Sad; Potentially I think he could be a really good player.
He's the same player as at Sunderland. In fact, he works even harder now. But Stoke is a one striker team and Crouch is a 'better player', so he have to chill or move. This '90 appearances' and 'every 6.7 games' don't account for how most of them games is pigeon sweat. Based on goals-per-minute, he's actually the most prolific of all Stoke strikers. All of them have poor stats, though. So I doh know why single him out. KJ or no KJ, Stoke doh score. Among the worst across all 4 divisions.

We'll agree to disagree, and I know how stoke play. Single out KJ? Is thread is about KJ not crouch, no singling out. If there is a reason for 'singling out' anyone well I leave you to work out why *stares a thread title* Some of the first touches I see him take and missed opportunities I wonder what happened to him. If stoke is the problem, then move on. If he doesn't want to score goals and defend become a centre-back LOL

I was referring to the article singling him out, not you. Out of all Stoke strikers who all in a mess.
Well you quoted me and made references to what I said i.e sunderland so that would be the reason I responded  :beermug:

Played it so much I was on the additional research credits for a few years as I got the information for a few Caribbean Islands (Antigua and Grenada, mostly, of course for those who know of me). Got to visit the office because of that which was quite amazing when it was located on Upper St, Islington but they moved down the road now. Got a free copy of the game every year; It was the least they could do of course. You have to understand I was about 12 so this is going back a while.

Like another poster said, I would love to play it now but it just takes over your life. Every game I used to start, I used to have to on the editor and add second nationalities to certain Caribbean players just to widen my options if I wanted to be an OECS nation; With Trinidad and Jamaica I didn't need to do that. I'm not a kid anymore and other things are just important. You can win all those trophies but what is the return? Lol

Just imagine you found that in your clothes. Just nasty. Lucky he plays for a Premier League club where he can just wear some training gear home. If that was for your Saturday side I would be calling someone to bring me a change of clothes.

Kenwyne need to move to move to a team that tries plays attacking football. I know I might get cuss for this but this maybe a blessing in disguise. P.S. His wifey is hot. I might get cuss for that too but anyhoo

Pulis is a devout Christian apparently and should know about Deuteronomy 14:8 if he is 'Devout'. As we know Rasta's tend to make reference to the Old Testament, In my many experiences, hence me bringing that up[. Hopefully Pulis explains Deuteronomy 14:8 to Mr. Whelan et al...

Looking for a Trinidadian Wife so I can stop travelling to Roti Stop and Roti Joupa for Doubles and 'Buss Up Shut' so when I find her and make some children I'll let you know. They'll be born in Grenada and eligible for England and Antigua as well so you'll have to fight it out with all those countries  ;D

Met alot of people last couple of years especially this July and August but I'll just post the Trinibago ones since it makes no sense posting the other since it's not Stern John or TNT related. I know that these people are just people you guys know to most of you lot. Bit different to an outsider like me and a Football, Soca and T&FNut (The latter is an obsession lol)

Second time I've met RT.

Gordon and Gordon. (You know De Jaguar (Kirani James) had to Lalonde since he's from Greenz :D *ducks from flying objects*)

I met him at Notting Hill Carnival the other day! I would post the picture with the legend (yes he is a legend to me) but I don't want anyone to know my face lol)

Very brief but you could see he was a cool guy.

They did it because the Jamaican team is preparing in Birmingham. They were good videos I watched them this week when someone posted them on Facebook.

I don't know where to begin to respond to all that.

I respect your opinion because I know you know Ryman League and are there amongst it.  You know I like the Ryman League and NPL, etc. with all the Caribbean players and I don't get much of a chance to watch it other than highlights.

How long was he playing there though?  A year about to my knowledge, its not like he was cutting his teeth there for years, it seems more like just a case of the Fire missing out on whatever ability he had.  He played for one of the better college teams in the country here, I know for a fact that there are scouts at their matches so he must've had some connections here, if not there.

Maybe there aren't as many players getting scouted below the Conference North/South but I've seen stories on Sky about players who are younger and maybe in their reserve teams...West Ham signed a guy last year named Paul something in these circumstances.  Theres also this guy Aris Guerin-Lokonga who recently had a trial at Sunderland...never even heard of the club he plays for (and thats saying something).  Even from the internet (Sky Transfer Centre) its clear that there are at least some scouts out there in the Non-League with all the "non-league hotshots" being tracked.  Of course there won't be scouts out at every game considering how many matches there are between tiers 7 and 10.

Yes 1% make it, some end up going to jail (half-Grenadian Ashley Sestanovich), some quit to shoot (behind the camera) porn (Kieran McAnespie), some just give up and maybe play Sunday League, some who are good enough get ground up doing hard labor during the week and can't play to their potential, and most seem to just play out their careers down there and if they're lucky scrape in to League 2 (like Jefferson Louis).  I don't respect DJ Campbell or Wade Elliott any more because they made it from at one point playing Non League for a short time.  Beckford may have started at Chelsea Academy but he played for I think 3-4 years for Wealdstone before making it back in to the League with Leeds.  DeMerit played at one of the top soccer schools here and then played for the Fire reserves, its not that different just a different country.  Furthermore he had a college education, so I doubt he was going to be living on the street if he didn't make it.

Its not just the media hyping it up.  There are people who when I tell I can't stand any US "fans" or players they say "well what about Jay DeMerit even you have to admit thats an amazing story."  These are people who've never heard of League One much less anything below it yet they are certain it is the greatest story of perseverance since Rocky.

One guy I am impressed with is Marvin Bartley currently of Burnley who bounced around the lower leagues before signing for Bournemouth who were in League Two at the time...as I recall he was working as a window fitter prior to signing.

On an unrelated note, it seems Enfield (and Enfield Town) gets its fair share of Caribbean guys, Ellis Remy (Montserrat), Ryan Edgar (Dominica), Clydie Roberts (Guyana), Furlong, and yourself being examples off the top of my head.  Edgar and Roberts are both Defoe's cousins as well though I don't know if they're related.  Looking at some of the names in Town's current squad Wesley Beckles must have some Caribbean blood, maybe Aaron Cato too.

Okay, I hear your point. Mines still stands though Lol  ;D

*Edited* too much personal info and wasn't responed to anyway :)
