Meet wasn't in Clermont, but rather at Gatlin's training track.

KAB will go in the 100m and Cedenio and Lalonde in the 400m tonight at the Inaugural Racers Invite.

Richard Vs Gatlin Sunday in Rio over 100m.

You think Richard challenging Gatlin for 1st? It will be an accomplishment for Richard if he run under 10.10 .

As Deeks mentioned, things look bleak for TT.. In fact MLA just came last 11.48 in Birmingham. She is still struggling with the flu. Still trying to find the form if 2014/2015.  Some good times better come soon as RIO is less than 70days away.

No. Never expected an actual race between the two.
Gatlin won in 10.19 (-1.0), RT second in 10.29.

Richard, Bledman, Burns and Callander might have a belated Olympic gold coming their way.

The meet is supposed to post results on their FB page, but 3 days later and they still stickin'

66
Per Monsieur Boldon's twitter account, Richard ran 10.08 legal wind over the weekend.

67
She seemed pretty upset, but if everything was I place, why wait until this week to deal with the insurance issue??

One Mr Boldon already ripped her a new one on twitter. I suggest trying to work with her and try to repair the great damage that has been done, instead of the crab inna barrel tear down behaviour. It does no good.

68
So the grand games has turned into the Grand Crash...shame!

69
Richard's race from Guadeloupe. Can't find a bright spot in that run. No phase looked good.  :-[ :-[

So Lendore improves on his performance from JA, while Richard..... ??? :banginghead:

71
Top 3 from Guadeloupe

Kirani- 44.15
Taplin 44.54
Javon Francis 44.77

72
Richard goes up against Degrasse and Powell tonight in Guadeloupe. Lendore, Mikel Thomas and Janiel Bellille also running in the same meet.

73
Bledman makes his season debut this Saturday in Germany at the Adidas HQ. Will be up again Blake, Weir and clubmate Ashmeade. Pretty stern test for an opener.

Keston Bledman opened his season 2 weeks ago in Clermont where he ran 10.28 seconds (1.7) in the heats at the Pure Athletics Meet.  He didn't run the finals.

Thanks. Missed that.

Richard Thompson at the Longhorn Invitational in Texas

2nd in the 100m - 10.21 (3.2)

4th in the 200m - 20.98 (3.9)
Much better than last week, but still a long way to go.

With that kind of wind, sub 10 and low 20.x would be about right.. Where is Bledman? Anyone know if Burns retired? My cuz seen Brown at Larry Gomes some weeks back. So I know he still training for trials.

Those were tailwinds GOP, so no where near sub-10

Hackett has run once or twice, but the times were pedestrian. Could  go back and find it if the masses care.

78
Now realizing Bledman hasn't shown face yet. All the other notable athletes in his club sans KAB, have made at least one outdoor appearance and a lot of them have 2 under their belts. What's going on???

Torpedo came a disappointing 4th (21.74) in the 200m. I don't think it happening this year with an opening time like that. Regardless, best of luck to the Torpedo.

You Beat me to it. All I can do is SMH. I just hope he is healthy.

Ato will finally let the torpedo out of his silo this weekend. He's down to run the deuce at the LSU Invitational.

Nice piece. Looks like he's willing to struggle through wh KAB wasn't. Hope he takes the deuce seriously. A goal of 20.2 doesn't fill me with confidence. Sub 20 is where he should be pointing his compass.

Hope It works out for her. One thing that will make the transition easier is that she is returning to familiar surroundings that she didn't leave to long ago.

OUCH - Braylon Taplin opens with 44.41

http://finishedresults.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/SunAngel/160407F082.htm

He's Lendore's training partner, so I wonder where he is, in the equation.

Khalifa St. Fort Turns Pro!

Johanna Gretschel
Mar 23, 2016

Khalifa St. Fort of Florida told FLrunners.com on Wednesday afternoon that she will forego the rest of her high school eligibility to accept an endorsement deal with the Caribbean-based Flow Communications.

The former UCLA commit is the Pan-American Junior Champion and World Youth Championships silver medalist for 100m. She owns PRs of 11.19 for 100m, which ranks No. 8 All-Time for athletes under 18 years old, and 23.5 for 200m. St. Fort has competed unattached from her high school, St. Thomas Aquinas, for the past year and trains exclusively with Ato Boldon, an Olympian and NBC analyst.

"Today has been an amazing day. I get to start the new part of my career as a pro and I'm so happy," she said in a video interview submitted by Boldon to FLrunners.com.

The announcement comes on the eve of the CARIFTA Games this weekend, where St. Fort will represent Trinidad and Tobago. She won a bronze medal at the senior level IAAF World Championships last summer for the island nation, per her efforts on the 4x100-meter relay. St. Fort will travel to Grenada for the meet this weekend, where she will contest the 100m and 200m.

"She's doing it before CARIFTA because they have a huge campaign coming for the CARIFTA Games and the Olympics," Boldon told Todd Grasley of FLrunners.com. "This starts the Khalifa brand moving. Win or lose CARIFTA, it's a win for her. Her value is in her brand, not just a race."

St. Fort is not working with an agent and Boldon will serve as her advisor for the time being. She is not currently sponsored by a shoe company.

St. Fort's American professional debut will come next weekend at the Texas Relays in Austin. She will race the 100m.

"My thoughts are to train harder, work harder and do everything I can to put myself in a good position to be on the biggest stage in the world," she said.

No cedenio in the final, but we managed 3rd in a new NR of 3:05:51. The lane draw killed us more than anything else imo.

Cleopatra Borel finishes 4th with a season's best. Her best placing at these champs
