Football / Re: Peltier: “I have no attitude problem.”
« on: May 14, 2013, 04:12:41 AM »
You guys would not believe how unprofessional the TTFF and their coaches are.

They cannot see beyond 5 days of planning and doing anything.

The players are not happy and never is but most of the times they do not say anything because they are afraid they get blacklisted.

Peltier deserve some credit for telling them as it is and the players are happy he did.

They talk to you like you are nobody, they never have refreshments and if they do its minimum, they embarrass players if they take an extra juice, their coaching methods are outdated.

The list goes on and on.

Football / Dennis Lawrence Thread
« on: May 14, 2013, 04:06:32 AM »
Dennis Lawrence might be T&T coach soon.

Someone told me that Dennis Lawrence might be T&T coach soon. Possibly after the Gold Cup.

Whether he accepts or not, that's another question.

He turned down a chance to be T&T assistant once.

Hopefully, Sheldon Phillips can convince him.

I just heard this.

« on: April 06, 2013, 04:47:05 AM »
Went to the game yesterday.

A lot of cards pass in the Army vs Central game. Central lost their keeper to and lost their game, I think 3-0.

Army just gets through the league with fitness and muscle. The team is technically a waste and the coaching is terrible. They play a very poor brand of football with no ideas on anything and I have been watching them a while now.

Army looks like a poor T&T national team who just eliminate their midfield and just kick the ball up the field with no idea what so ever.

Seems W Connection can only beat T&TEC this season ( ;D ) , they won 4-0.

Football / Re: How did you rate Russell as a manager
« on: March 25, 2013, 04:09:51 AM »
IMO Latapy might still be manager today given 3 major resources: more control over his selections, time, and quality friendly matches. I don't know how much you can expect from any national team manager who doesn't have access to those things. Given all that and the terrible state of our national football federation when he was managing, I don't think he did too bad.

Amen.

Its hard to believe that you were the same guy who wrote me the other day and had a problem with Latapy coming back to coach T&T.

Sigh..

As for Latapy, how can the federation give him all these tools when Latapy himself didn't asked or wasn't even worried about obtaining these requirements. The man was to laid back and the TTFF took advantage of that.

However, Latapy does have experience and knowledge and could just be a good coach one day, maybe he should consider being an assistant first, like Denis Lawrence at Wigan.

126
In the end, the Under 17 team will get the field and if they don't then some will have to suffer to save the persons involved faces.

This is all part politics and Jack Warner is man who is always thinking of ways to make things work in his favor.

127
I heard this is a big bluff.

Tim Kee and his friend Jack Warner is trying to make the public feel that Jack Warner is not close with him and the TTFF.

Unlink both Warner and Tim Kee they trying to do because a lot of people starting to see them together, so they trying to disguised their friendship.

Do not believe this guys and off course Lasana will make a meal off it. He took the bait !!!

Football / TTFF and their Conflict of Interest.
« on: March 12, 2013, 04:30:14 PM »
You have to understand the politics, money and power sharing between the clique here.

Alvin Corneal, Anton Corneal, Dexter Skeene, Ken Butcher, Jamaal Shabazz and Edgar Vidale who is Alvin Corneal's brother in law and Raymond Tim Kee. The plan is to keep others out. When Alvin Corneal was national coach he made Butcher his assistant and when Butcher was parliamentary secretary at the Ministry of Sports, during the NAR govt. he made Alvin Corneal his Sport Adviser.

Andre Baptiste has good intentions but he is best friend to Ken Butcher and Ken is Alvin's partner, he knows what is going on but his hands are tied. Tim Kee as stupid as he is, he is being controlled by the Corneal's because he played some football for Maple Club when Alvin Corneal was coach. He is presently an executive member of Alcons.

As it is Anton can do no wrong but if someone else who wasn't part of their clan was there as technical adviser then there would be checks and balances.

That is Conflict of Interest.

When I listen to the Tim Kee debate the other day on i95.5 I was disappointed by Tim Kee and I side with Gally for going in hard.

Tim Kee and Gally only spoke on the telephone never did they meet in person. He told Gally one thing on the phone and told the news something different. Tim Kee wanted to hire Gally to work for free as some director of coaches or,,, do the job on UTT's salary, either or.

Furthermore, Tim Kee and I spoke after T&T's qualifications for the Gold Cup and he criticize the national team's performance but said something different to the media even though we all saw the games. This is such a two face act.

The other day I saw him having a drink with Jack Warner and he was a bit tight, he told me that he refuse to do the interview for Flex because he did not like how Flex handle him. I asked him to explain, and he just shake his head and continue doing what he loves doing, scotch and coconut water.

Ever wonder how all of a sudden Anil Roberts flinging money on the TTFF, the very next day Watson left. Jack Warner is a wicked man. They may not catch him but hopefully his son will pay the ultimate price.

I can't say more because of personal reasons, but with this guy they call Tim Kee, he playing on both side of the fence and sooner than later he will fall flat on is face.

129
I support Gally 100%.

Tim Kee and Jack Warner are personal friends. They drink together regularly. Tim Kee look the bottle, believe me when I say that Jack Warner still has a hand in T&T football.

Tim Kee is looking for handouts and he doesn't or is to lazy to think how to help T&T football a level up.

He wants everyone to work for free while he takes the credit.

They do not want to hire a good marketing team instead they rely on government help and they continue to hustle the public.

Football / Re: Jack Warner sons arrested?
« on: January 22, 2013, 05:29:39 PM »
Ok, I got some confirmation on the situation.

Jack elder son has been arrested in Miami for quite some time now and is still in jail.

I thinks its either for fraud or money laundering.

Is younger son is in T&T free (for now)?.

The info Truetrini posted was probably someone else or another incident ?

This one is different as he got arrested in Miami.

132
Backward step again and look how they fired Wallace, same old pattern.

Someone right here on the forum mention Tim Kee is bringing back Russell Latapy as coach.

No I starting to believe it.

« on: January 10, 2013, 07:08:42 PM »
I went to this training by Fenwick and you can see the players confidence is high especially with Byers around. I spoke with him after, nice fellow. Central FC will do good under Fenwick because he is strick and can get the best out of the players.

But I believe they need some time to gel as they look a little scrappy at times.

The team spirit has definitely been lifted.

« on: January 08, 2013, 10:44:22 AM »
I am surprised Devorn Jorsling is still on the T&T team.

Apart from his sloggish play and lack for goals, his attitude stinks and is bad to have around the younger players.

I remember he was sub in Antigua for one of the games and while he was coming off he was cussing very stink.

One of my friends spoke with Glen before the match against DR and he wanted DR to embarrass T&T.

He kept saying they cannot pay me enough to play for T&T again.

Both him and Angus Eve was laughing they belly off when T&T lost to Antigua.

Sounds bogus

Even Molino was calling out Eve...

Football / My view on the game vs Haiti [7-Dec-12]
« on: December 09, 2012, 05:55:57 AM »
Vs Haiti.

I think Theobald slows down the team to much and he could never give you 90 minutes, he is never fit.

Cyrus looked out of depth and unfit, Kern Cupid would have probably been a better right back, Cyrus looks more comfortable in the center.

I really don't understand how can a coach pick five center backs and one wing back for a tournament.

Cyrus, Gonzales, Power, Mitchell and Moses are are strong center backs and cannot play wing back effectively as was the case with Cyrus, had Haiti had a better wing player going forward we probably would have conceded on Cyrus side.

David and Jones are excellent players, they fight really hard, Jones is really a talented player and shoots more at the goal than our strikers.

Molino is not linking up well and looks short of match fitness. He is still a great player and his attitude is really something else, he is always trying to lift the players around him.

Kevon Carter is under confidence and has been for the longest, not the player he was before the injury and this is what ticks me off, we pick most players because we like them or because of past reputation.

Keyon Edwards was a poor sub to bring in especially since we were trying to win the game unless the coach was deciding to throw him in defence and send Jones more forward?

Guerra and Peltier was disappointments. Guerra plays like Keon Daniel, one minute he can do great things and then the next he seems lost on the field, but he tries hard though, he gets in a few hard fought tackles. Peltier seems unsure as well, maybe he does not want to get hurt? He never shows up for big games.

Going forward from midfield, the team looked decent and with the formation T&T is using it is affecting the team balance especially in the final 3rd.

Our coaches saw ways to adjust the formation especially in the second half and didn't do so, Jamal Shabazz came in and said he scouted Haiti and so he know how they play and what to expect which was totally off to what we saw vs T&T.

T&T had Haiti to beat in all aspects of the game.

Plaza can't get a shot off and when he does its really poor. We have three slow forwards with the same style of play on the team, they also rely on service and once the service is cut off we will never score. They are like boulders on the field.   :D

This is why you see Jones and Hector scooting from outside because our strikers are not mobile. These 2 were trying to make things happen.

As a striker your instinct should be to shoot, shoot and shoot, our guys are confuse with the ball at their feet and pass it off quickly, they do not think for a second, lift your heads, take a shot, something could happen.

And now that the TTFF hired Jamal Shabazz the team seem to not respond to well, there are to many broken plays and no follow up from players, the movement off the ball is crazy and strikers do not know how to keep their positions well. To much hand in the soup.

Why fix something that is not broken, that's the expression I got from certain men that I cant reveal, because sooner or later, guys will bump heads, someone has to be higher than the other and while Jamal seems to be nice on camera, his inside intentions is about him alone.

This is our cup to loose guys, I saw some of the other teams and they are nothing over T&T. They will improve though as the tournament go on, I hope T&T does the same.

Glen will be missed but at this point in time we need positives around the team and he does has a chip on his shoulder. Even if he didn't score his style of play would have enhance the other striker around him.

Glen thinks his pick should be automatic because he is T&T's 4th all time goal scorer and the current pro league top scorer with 4 goals which is nothing to brag about as Guerra,  Edwards and Modeste have the same.

Josimar Belgrave already have two hattricks for his club this season in all competitions to.

But one can expect to see more Caledonia players on the team, asked Shabaaz why Rundel Winchester wasn't even considered, even for training, this kid is a player to watch and needs to join a Pro League team soon. He should be kept close to the national team to see if he matures.

Our coach need to stop having the team play nervous, just give the guys some confidence and let them play comfortably. They look tense and unsure.

I spoke to Charles yesterday, we will see two strikers start today.

The 4-5-1 formation should be revised, we have stagnant forwards and no midfield service, a blind man could see this.

Play with your strength and not your thoughts, use the players to their strength, our coaches unused them.

You are right Tallman.

One thing about David John Williams, he doesn't mind sending his players out on trials even if they are unfit.

Neil Benjamin was unfit and wasn't prepared for life aboard or else he probably would have gain a contract. The club liked the player but not enough to sign because mentality he was more shell shock.

DJW means well, but he needs to prep his players more before sending them out and if he have to send young players they should also be accompanied by an adult.

I will not be around but just wanted to stop by and give my best wishes to Flex the man who made it all possible and off course Tallman who came onboard and save the SWO from going down.

2 great men who should get a medal for what they do for T&T football, but with Anil Roberts there, that will be impossible.
