Beckam making 50 Million per year. He have to play. Is all about money here. That is no joke salary. Is blood, sweat and tears. LA eh paying him that kind of money to rest on de bench. Once his is fit to play, he have too.....50 Million per year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Galaxy is only paying Becks 6.5 mill ah year not 50 mill. de rest ah money coming from sponsers and marketing, becks is ah brand name so every jersey dey sell he make a certain percentage on it, should he leave the club stand to lose more money than him.

Donavan play yesterday in Sweden fuh de US team.  Beckham play yesterday against Germany fuh England.

2 long ass flight to get back to go and run tonight?

Madness.

Becks look like he pick up ah lil knock coming to de end of de game, yuh 2 stars just come back from ah trip in europe u go play one de whole game, plus i think becks play de whole game for england. this coach stupid bad yo. use up all he subs without takeing becks out de game. now i sure he go be out for ah next 2 weeks again.

They playing on ESPN now, game almost done. Chivas up 2-0.

All i have to say is this Galaxy team real facking shity dread, Beckham doh know what he get he self in here nah, he look like he want to pull out he hair on de field here. An de commentators saying Galaxy coach is one of the better coaches in d league, well if he is de best no wonder this league sucks. They need a new coach and new players around Becks or i will personally tell him to buyout his contact an cut his losses, this shit aint making no sence at all. England must be well laughing at him now.

ok now de score is 3-0.

Freakazoid, I live in DC. I don't know where they get them stats from. They wrong. When Redskin played there the games always sold out. People has been waiting donkey years to get set for the skins.

When it come to football, them stats dubious again. I saw 4 WC games there, also sold out. I saw Barsa played. I saw Brazil/Germany, Brazil/England. The MLS final. Cosmos with Pele. Then Cosmos/Fort L:auderdale Soccer Bowl. They exagerating Beckham pulling power.

DAMN......da was how looooooooooooooooooong ago ??

Anyway, da game was shit, LA deserve to be in last place playing like that. Becks best sit out de rest ah this season an start fresh next year. plus why would u send ah man out to play who has a bum ankle in conditions like that, one skate tackle or bad hit an da was it for he.

In case allyuh miss de article e-man posted some weeks ago......it supposed to be CONCACAF turn.....but england can get it if Jack gets sweet talked. This could either be him telling them he eh bargining.....or......letting them know up front that they need to come real good.

I interpreted it as Jack setting himself up for a payday, that's about it.

exactly, if he could get it to come in concacaf region he go make ah shit load of money. ur think de scam he pull for last worldcup with he travel agency was something, this one will set up he great great grandkids.

Tevez deal got cleared, he's on his way to Man-utd.

 :beermug: ;D

West Ham have revealed they have reached agreement for Carlos Tevez to leave Upton Park and complete his protracted move to Manchester United.

The settlement ends the threat of High Court action between West Ham and Tevez's representative Kia Joorabchian.

West Ham will receive a £2m fee for Tevez's registration.

The 23-year-old Argentine striker is understood to have already passed a medical and trained with United on Friday morning. ;D ;D

So basically West Ham are forced into selling Tevez for somewhere between £1million and £3million???
And Darren Bent went for how much?? Anybody else see something wrong here???

West Ham do not own him... Kia Joorabchian does...  West Ham wanted £6 million and Kia wanted them to get less than £100 000 because of the feud

But  everything is settled and Carlitos  coming to Utd 2moro..

yep.

lol nice..

i hope he was stay fit and training all this time he was off,

Football / Tevez deal just needs approval from Premier League now......

Premier League - Tevez saga nearly settled
Eurosport - Thu, 02 Aug 21:48:00 2007
West Ham are expected to announce on Friday that they have agreed a deal to release Carlos Tevez from his contract and registration.

The move will allow the Argentina striker to pursue a move to Manchester United.
The agreement, which still needs to be formally ratified by the Premier League and Football Association, will see the Hammers paid between £1million and £3million in compensation.
The deal will also mean the settlement of the £30million lawsuit brought against West Ham by Tevez's agent Kia Joorabchian.
Talks ended with an agreement between both sides and the league and the FA should sign off the deal - Premier League lawyers have been kept up-to-date with the progress of discussions.
Joorabchian should then be able to try to sew up an agreement with United to allow the striker to join up before the start of the season.
In the unlikely event of either side having a last-minute change of heart, then the only other avenue would be a lengthy High Court battle and there has been an acknowledgement that that would be in no party's interests.
Manchester United have already indicated a desire to take Tevez on the same sort of loan package that saw Argentina midfielder Javier Mascherano move to Liverpool last season.
That deal took some weeks before it was signed off by the Premier League but with that transfer having already been picked over by the lawyers, a similar deal for Tevez should go through much quicker.
The agreement with West Ham brings an end to a long-running and painful saga for the club that began when former chairman Terry Brown signed Tevez and Mascherano under banned third-party agreements last summer.
The club were fined £5.5million as a result by a disciplinary commission in April and that led to an unsuccessful legal challenge by Sheffield United, who claimed they should have been docked points.

i must say, colin samuels playing good. he showing some nice touches, playing with heart, good look. one thing though, he needs to play stronger on the ball for someone with his size. at times he waiting on the ref to give him a foul when in fact he lost the ball by not holding his own. the crowd in toronto real infectious, they love the soccer up there. toronto is a big market and i expect more teams in the future. good game tonight, the mls as really stepped up. on another note, i do not know what they see in this marlon haywood boy from aston villa, just a lazy lad with size
I watched Harewood last season at Villa and he's a real terror when he's on.  He had a lot of injuries this past season though from what I recall.  Bear in mind that this is still the pre-season for them.

RD...yeah they loving he and Wynne up front, and I agree.  Dem two men does real run and hustle ball.  I think what Samuel needs to do is just round into proper finishing form and you'll potentially have another Stern on your hands.

yeah once he starts taking more shots on goal an scoring, he'll be a king in Toronto. dey have ah stronge fan support up dey boi, everytime i see highlights when dey have home games it always seems to be sold out or close to.

Eddie is ah coward.....and if he think its best to hold out for a bigger an better team he'll be playing in mls all he life. he's 23 now, yeah thats young still but look at de average age of most of de players rippin up europe, dem is around his age or younger and there skills an talent running circles around eddie. he could of used derby as a stepping stone.
