That was a hell of a game.

Leicester is the real deal. We'll see if they can hold on.

Great spirit from arsenal. I thought they had the fight in them since the Chelsea loss, but now they getting weapons back. They still missing cazorla though.

Alexis was awful today. Still  :wavetowel:

Happy New Year fellas! Keep up the good work! Yaya goal was fantastic. Glad he lost though!

Implosion against Southampton was horrible but still, top of the table, for now. Keep it up Arsenal! :applause:

Cech man of the match but we gave as good as we got. Better even. Well done Gunners. A point in Munich and we're back in business!

Such a magnificent performance. Why can't we play like that all the time? Theo is becoming a fantastic striker.

Real strange start to the season. Creating plenty, well balanced, experienced defence but horrible finishing. Today we should have scored much more than 2 goals.

Barely saw him play this past season but hopefully Cech still has the goods. Welcome to the good guys!

Sanchez is about 1.5x the next best Arsenal player.

Like yuh doh watch Santi Carzola or wha hoss?

Sanchez, Cazorla, Koscielny. Then everybody else on that side. Ozil has to do better.

Concerned about the lack of goals recently. We have a final to play.

He added that Arsenal "need new direction" and manager Arsene Wenger "needs to change his style a bit."
He could well spend some of that money on Nigerian football.

I could swear that Arsenal already have a new direction and Wenger has changed his style.

Not the most exciting game. Chances few and far between on both sides. Say what? When we win our game in hand we back up the table. Hope we win 3-0 though. Goal difference needed.

2nd by a point, a game in hand and through to the FA Cup Final. BOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM!

Do we face the Villans or the self important, classless, petulant blowhards from Merseyside?

Great performance today by the boys! Beating Liverpool is almost as much fun as beating United.

Bellerin showed why he is the future of Arsenal, and then showed why he isn't the present.

I love to look at all the old posts about how Ozil is rubbish. I just love them.

We still cyah catch a break from United's opponents though. Need some distance, and then to beat them.

The build up for Newcastle goal was absolutely delightful. Bakes, you are correct that Newcastle were unfortunate not to get a point from their endeavor today.
Arsenal lost the midfield battle in the second half but were equally unfortunate not to be out of sight by half time, slicing through Newcastle at will late in the first.

The team couldn't get out of their half in the second period but dealt well with Newcastle's attack with strong penalty box defending and excellent goalkeeping.

Oh and Arsenal now lead the league in set piece goals. Who would have thought?

Hard fought win. Excellent first half and reliant on good defence and goalkeeping to hold on to the win. Team looked tired in the second half. Still 3 more points!

Januszaj... what a disgraceful dive, rightfully punised by the ref.  Di Maria with a bit of the infamous 'red mist'... deserved second yellow and early shower.

The sad thing is, both of them had beat their man.  :-[

Watching it again now, Januszaj had lost the ball when he decided to go down.

United (apart from Young), almost never get pulled up for their diving. Rooney in particular because he's England's golden boy. Glad they got some payback tonight.

Things move nice for us this weekend. I knew United couldn't maintain that standard.  Now for Pool to do us a solid with Southampton!

2 seasons ago they beat us at the Lane in early February to go 7 points ahead. We overtook them. Same with the season before that. Far too early to start worrying about that.
