« on: February 05, 2007, 04:15:42 AM »
well ah mustbe spell it wrong but i didnt christen dem.

from what ah know de french does take all kinda badman from all over de world and make dem part of this special elite force that "supposibly" badder than any other special opps. even the israel army, and in the military it does have nuff talk bout how dread de israli army is.

anyways back to de point ah de thread.

here on base at camp lemonier, djibouti, africa. it does have different tournaments like football, basketball and de most competitive volleyball. all different countries stationed here on this base like kenya, britan, france, spain. almost every country who have ah army here on this base.

boom back to de vollyball tournament. i gone to check out the british girls (ah go send jeffers de pic and he go paste it here) and see dem men in ah set ah tight pants. i laffing and dem getting vex so ah intelligence officer from britan telling me dem go beat me up and send me to my tent crying all kinda thing. ah aint dig no horras cause all ah we have gun and me aint scarred to shoot and run.

to make ah long story short fight break out with one ah dem and ah marine. and all who know marines know dem is de baddest thing since bakr, ah small man from de french foreign legion beat that to ah pulp and still had time to jump back on de sand to serve. de man hit him ah cuff and make he teeth pierce tru he bottom lip (if yuh see blood).

after ah talking to one ah de french men and he telling me dem does train in every different kinda terrain. snow, jungle, dessert, and urban street gorilla warfare.

i used to fraid isralli forces now these fellers have my full reepsct.

the journey countinues............................

Football / James Scores First Goal of Season to Lead UConn Over Marquette
« on: October 20, 2006, 03:39:47 PM »
MILWAUKEE, Wis. (October 19, 2006)-- Junior All-American Julius James (Maloney Gardens, Trinidad) scored his first goal of the season to lead the No. 14 nationally-ranked University of Connecticut men's soccer team to a 1-0 BIG EAST victory Thursday over Marquette at Valley Fields.

With the win, UConn improves to 10-4-2 overall on the season and 8-1-1 in the BIG EAST Conference. The Golden Eagles fall to 1-14-1 overall and 0-10 in league play. The contest was originally scheduled to be played Wednesday, but was delayed until Thursday due to inclement weather and unplayable field conditions.

The teams battled through a scoreless first half, but James got the Huskies on the board with a spectacular goal at the 51:45 mark on an assist from sophomore O'Brian White (Scarborough, Ontario). The assist was White's team-leading sixth of the season and he also leads the Huskies with 20 points on the year. White beat a Marquette defender and sent a centering pass toward James in the penalty area. James volleyed the service with a bicycle kick past Marquette goalkeeper Matt Pyzdrowski into the lower right corner of the goal.

UConn freshman goalkeeper Matt Sangeloty (Farmington, Conn.) earned his fifth shutout of the season and was not forced to make a save in the contest. The Huskies outshot Marquette by a count of 8-5 on the day.

The Huskies return to action Saturday, October 21 with a 7:00 p.m. contest at Morrone Stadium in Storrs against the No. 6 nationally-ranked Fighting Irish of Notre Dame.

Men's football Captain Julius James named to M.A.C. Hermann Trophy watch list
UCONN Huskies

STORRS, Conn. (August 17, 2006) - University of Connecticut men’s soccer player Julius James (Maloney Gardens, Trinidad) has been named to the 2006 Missouri Athletic Club’s Hermann Trophy Watch List for the second consecutive season. The complete list of 25, announced by the Missouri Athletic Club, was compiled by a panel of coaches from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).

In his sophomore season at UConn in 2005, James played and started in all 21 games, helping anchor the nationally-ranked defense that allowed an average of just 0.56 goals per game, while posting 14 shutouts. Powered by the sophomore defender, the Huskies gave up just two goals at home during the regular season and 12 overall, going undefeated within the confines of Joseph J. Morrone Stadium. On the attack, he scored two goals, one against George Mason (9/9) and another on the road vs. Notre Dame (10/8).

James received numerous accolades for his performance in 2005, including SoccerTimes.com and Soccer America First Team All-American nods, as well as NSCAA Second Team All-American recognition and First Team New England honors. In addition, he was named the BIG EAST Defender of the Year, as well as a conference Defensive Player of the Week on two occasions.

The list also features fellow BIG EAST players Greg Dalby from Notre Dame and Rodrigo Hildago from USF. The remaining talent on this year’s watch list is spread geographically, by position and by class. There are 13 seniors, nine juniors and three sophomores, and only three schools (Clemson, North Carolina and North Carolina-Greensboro) have two players on the list.

The winner of the M.A.C.’s Hermann Trophy will be determined in voting by NSCAA Division I member coaches. A list of 15 semifinalists will be announced in early November, with three finalists announced in late November. They will be invited to St. Louis on Saturday, Dec. 2, for the announcement of the winner at a press conference to be held in conjunction with the Men’s College Cup. Both the men’s and women’s winners will be presented the prestigious crystal soccer ball trophy at a banquet later that evening.
