Both of them (but especially Nick Webster; the Limey) kept going on about the crowd only supporting the team when our playing twisting up men on the fieeld... Webster is a toon-toon.
Don't pay too much attention to them idiots

i think our problem today was speed, we played the game too slow, we dribbled when we should have passed, the simple pass was ignored trying to be extra creative, taking extra touches on the ball. Carlos had an ok game but he was victim to the same problem, he knows he can take on the bahraini wing back but sometimes you have to mix up running at the defense with an early cross or two to keep the defensive back line guessing. every time he picked up the ball 2 and 3 men started to cover him and reduce his effectiveness, carlos is a great talent and works very hard to get into attacking positions but its unfortunate to see all that hard work then a final ball that never sees a red shirt, the two real menacing crosses came from birchall and spann but carlos is our primary wing outlet though. we really missing a left footed midfielder at least to give some kinda balance it was most evident today with latas having an off day. As Beenie said, take heart from the fact that we got a result today while not playing our best, i am sure he will make the necessary adjustments and have everyone ready for wednesday. Our backs are against the wall and we will come back strong. Our destiny is in our hands.

This was a good analysis, here are my 2c

. We did not impose any tempo on the game; we were too slow and deliberate in our buildup
. we could have mixed the speed of our attack (fast/slow as needed.) BAH cannot cope with pace and trickery
. Despite Carlos having a great game on the wing, there was no end product
. defensive midfileld: the anchor role was absent. BAH are a counter-attacking team and too often the ball distributors had too much time too work. Also, around our box, they had too much time to operate. It is good that they are limited technically
. Everyone wants to criticize Avery, but ask yourself: If BAH overloaded on Avery's side (which they did), where was the cover and help from left midfield? Again, the defensive midfileld play was not up to scratch against a poor team. Beenie actually singled out the work of "me mum" as needing improvement...
. Off day for Latas... no probs; pressure for BAH in the next game
. Stern isolated
. Shit support in the crowd.BTW, don't pay attention to the FSC commentators; their analysis is full of cliches. Nick Webster, for f*cks sake!!!

POSITIVES:

. the "big three" and the team as a whole can only improve their performances
. we did not lose
.  even playing below our potental, we have more class than BAH
. the team shows an ability to adapt
. belief is still there in the whole camp
. we are all praying for our Warriors

You say our destiny is in our hands, but God will also guide us there; keep the faith :-)

Their captain got the second yellow and he misses the game wednesday.

That was the #10 right?

yes

mohammed salmeen
Salmeen was good (seems skilful). If he and the No 3 player are out for the next game, great advantage to us. Hubail was not good today...

My Take on the game:

1.  The ref did a horrible job.  Now I see why people have been complaining about Yorke being hacked down in the Australian League.

2.  We need to get back to possessing the ball, and pressing higher up the field.  I though we sat back for a while and allowed them to penetrate our defence with the through passes.  Avery was especially vulnerable to those.  He neither got to the ball or followed the runner.  For a while, he reminded me of the Avery that I played against in the colleges league--grit but not much technical ability.  He needs to get it right because he was the weak link in the defence tonite.

3.  Stern John is isolated up front.  If you're going to play a target forward, then the team needs to relize that they have to push up to support the guy.  How many times was that ball played across the goal and there was no one in the box to get it it?  We seemed too afraid of the counter.

4.  Jack needs to sort his defence out better.  The marking was poor and he was definiitely not communicating enough with his defenders.  Frankly. Shaka commands more respect from the players, and they seem more composed when he is in goal.

5.  It's a one game final on Wednesday.  We need to just think about winning; we have nothing to lose at this point.

To add to this, I would like to point out that the work in the middle of the park on the defensive end was not enough. Despite Birchall's GREAT goal, if he is the primary holding midfilelder, then BAH had too much time in and around the box, and not enough was done to break up their (sparse) attacks in the middle of the field.Their midfielders weren't closed down/harried enough and this gave them confidence.
My only comments on the offensive side of the field are about Latas (sub-par game), Carlos (needs to be more agressive because NONE of the BAH team can handle him), and generally we need to force the tempo pf the game; BAH cannot cope with the pace and skill of T&T. This is our offensive advantage and we need to press it home in Manama.

Bless...

What game you watching....look at the goal that scored against us. Freaking donkey Dennis Lawrence, just looking at Andrews challenge two players. Then in the middle of the field he falling down. Thank God Whittley was on point. That Bahrain team was retarded.....but you know what was even worse, we were more retarded than them. The entire game was a barn burner. We did not look like the team that beat Mexico a few weeks ago. I don't know what happenend but we need to fix it before Wednesday. It was the worse footbal ever. If you all want to argue I can send you all copies of the game. The good part is we got a tie.
Great support by the way  >:(
All the team lacked was tempo in attack... Bah is a limited team in attack; we can overcome them with more discipline.

what u have against Avery? You listening to those commentators? Avery wasn't that bad today. Even though me mum scored, his work as defensive link wasn't so good.

Fact is dey only have 23000 seats available, take away 3000 for coporate sponsors, dignitaries and some blocks for men who come down from de us every game.

20000 tickets to sell to 100000 people, mus have de majority disappointed.
Even if dey was selling 1 ticket ah man, de tickets woulda still run out in de first 2 hrs of dem going on sale.
In de stadium I reach 4 oclock an it had 500 people an ah sure everybody who was there from that time get tickets, the lines were orderly by trini standards so de pressure dat man describe in south an de velodrome I did not see. People jump ovr the stadium fence an ting but by then it was too late.

Ah had posted that we should get to de stadium early to make sure.
It probably has been mentioned before, but one way of (possibly) weeding out waggonists would be the introduction of season tickets/supporters passes. If you are a season ticket holder, you get first choice on playoff tickets. European/US clubs have similar schemes. Once you resort to gameday/pre-gameday selling, you are subject to supply and demand and all the problems that come with it (bobol, chaos in the line etc.); this can't be helped.
My 2c
