You should have seen how New Zealand mash up Jamaica. TnT could even qualify for the tournament.

Angel, gyul, when I sweating, if I see somebody fighting up (male or female) I does ease off. I eh go tackle dem hard or mark dem too hard. However, if yuh playing good yuh go have to forget de ease up. No offense. Dat is just de way I play. If yuh like de sweat and yuh does enjoy yuhself, go back and play when yuh ankle heal. If yuh cyah take de jamming, cool yuhself.

Humm and an honest 2 cents it was. Doh worry I appreciate honesty. So I had a severe sprain. I am just grateful that it wasn't fractured liked the other one. So I had a week home to thik about whether or not I was going back on the court when I healed.

Now if I could do it after a fracture to one ankle I certainly could do it again with just a sprain. But I am one to take advice and I will be very careful with whom I am playing against next time.

So thanks for the advice and encouragement everyone.

Now its just to walk without a limp.

Hey thanks Trini Cana I just needed to know that I am not the only girl that goes through these things but the guy and I are co workers so it wasn't as if we were strangers.

Some guys are still telling me to keep of the court but according to you I love the game.

CK 1 I am glad that you respect the women you play against enough not to injure them.

For your anke-:Rest;Ice;Compression;Elevation.

Don't worry I had a lil help taking care of my ankle and I am taking your advice.

So this is what I am confused about. Is it okay for a girl to sweat with the guys.

Now seriously do fellas have a problem when women play a team sport with them and are better than them.

I was at the sweat match on Saturday and I didn't really see any of the guys having a problem with Girl warrior playing and besides she knew her limitations and when it was time to come the field. Nobody tackle the girl or played her rough. I didn't really big up the fellas for that and we must cause not all guys are the same.

EXAMPLE: I play netball and a lil bit of basketball too. I have been sweating with fellas since I was in secondary school and they all seem cool when you sweating and they understand ok she could play but she is a girl so we not going to bang her up. RIGHT.

I had no problem playing with guys and could care less about people who thought it inappropriate. If no girls in thse school or community play who am I supposed to sweat with right?

So getting to what I am cofused about. We have a basketball area in work. Mind you I have played basketball with some of the guys in work and was invited to sweat yesterday. Invited while I was going about my own business mind you. Being a girl I know how to play with the guys. You don't play wild, you stay away from the wild men and you try and keep to yourself cause you never know what will happen.

Well one of the guys forgot that he was playing a girl as soon as I started shooting over the man.

NOW I SAID MAN. I am 23 THIS MAN HAS A DAUGHTER A DAUGHTER in primary school. and jus cause he get a lil heckle from the fellas about me scoring on him like he take offense.

All of a sudden the MAN marking me and real hard too. My lil clamp in my head the MAN break it batting me from behind, I still scoring on him. The dude was marking me so hard that fellas I get an ANDRE.

Twist meh ankle. THE GOOD ONE  on the stupid man foot cause he was all under meh.

And it was like nothing to him. YEs he get ice and yes he called the trainers from inside the gym but the dude ain't even look like he was a lil sorry. I didn't get it what I do you?

Oh gosh so a fellah really can't take a girl scoring on them

One of my coworkers told me that well now I will learn to stay off the court. 

WHAT? It was a joke but should I???

Girl warrior I know you play basketball and have no problems playing with guys that ever happen to you???

TriniCana what you think???

Guys I know some of you all going to tell meh if I play with the fellas I should learn to take meh injury like a man but I still can't help but think you could have marked somebody else on the court why look for the girl and make her like that.

So now my ankle swollen and I contemplating, return to the court???

I just praying that I didn't fracture this one too.

Well answer meh question, especially Jayerson cause he played rough in the sweat but didn't look 4 Girl Warrior to mark her???

Ah going and ice it.

That was Cowen I took a pic of him jammin too. But I had to read yuh post twice.

Note he was not jammin on nobody_s angel there was literally noone jammin with Cowen while in goal.

Nah chid thats not it I reading this post whole night and trying to find a way not to push any fire I was at the swaet and it was a real decent cool vibes. I not even trying to get u ban and not everybody here looking for a fight.

So it was real short though about 2 mins. Basically a promo for the Warrior Nation web site and a few pics of the sweat match was shown.

Shabbaz even bigged up the site as he mentioned two female players that joined the team because of the forum.

All and all it was short but Oconnorg handled himself nicely, gave alot of information about membership, the Warrior Nation and represented us well.

Jayerson the lil boy wearing d # 10 must have been just 10 years old. Beenie wasn't watching d sweat. tackling so hard was a lil wrong although I saw some elbow pass from small man.

Girl Warrior yuh really good yuh went out there brave and played well.  

Morvantman yuh know yuh didn't disappoint yuh could play. but where my spanner.  

It real sad about what happen to Andre and I hope it isn't a fractured cause I fractured my ankle and believe me it not easy so I waiting for some positive news.

Oh and before I forget, Padners yuh really need to give your wife a big kiss cause that fish broth was d boss.

It was a good sweat and a great day.

Just something to keep in mind. The team looked great but let's remember we played a very weak team. I say much more preparation is needed, and am looking forward to the warmups against the better teams. It seems the media took that 2-0 defeat and ran with it, people saying is 2nd rong for TnT and all kindah ting, I say mash yuh brakes....

I understand what you are saying but this is my input. Iceland was in the same group with sweden during the World Cup qualifies. I think they finished 2nd-to-last in there group and they had lost 3-1 and 4-1 to Sweden respectively. I think beenie man wanted to test us with a team that played sweden to see where we were at. Did you know that Iceland trashed South Africa 4-1? and South Africa ranks 50th according to fifa. All and all, I THINK the fifa ranking is flawed. But i understand your point and concern. We still do not need to take the win to head. It was good for confidence though and analysis.

Kingman

In the past 3 years, Iceland have also  beaten Italy and drawn with Germany, Italy and Mexico. They also have more Premiership players than we do.

Now I was thinking the same thing as alot of people,that Iceland is a low ranked team and why were we wasting our time playing them.

But after the game I realized a couple of things they have alot of players in the Premiership and this was a big confidence booster for the entire team.

Also Leo was able to assess players he was not quite sure about at this game, which I believe would have been the best game to tryout the youngsters.

In addition we really looked like a team with discipline, purpose and a game plan. A game plan that was followed by every player. I was really impressed the fellas reach a long way and if u deny it ...

The king had a beautiful daughter,   

the PRINCESS.

But there was a problem.  Everything the princess touched would melt.

No matter what;

metal,

anything she touched would melt.

Because of this, men were afraid of her.  Nobody would dare marry her.

The king despaired.  What could he do to help his daughter?

He consulted his wizards and magicians.  One wizard told the king,

"If your daughter touches one thing that does not melt in her hands,

she will be cured."

The king was overjoyed and came up with a plan.





The next day, he held a competition.  Any man that could bring his daughter an
object that would not melt would marry her and inherit the  king's wealth.

But alas, when the princess touched it, it melted.

Okay so they scored 5 goals on them but the play looked clinical. I don't know it could just be the inner hatred that some trinis have for them that makes us think the worst of them but something about the way they play "soccer" that just doesn't apeal to me. But that works for them, so until we beat them I guess we better hush.

Mind you I said I only saw highlights ok.

yuh loss me there.  I not following how you say clinical play is a bad thing.  especially after you call them lethargic.

Forget it.

I never said that it was a bad thing in fact I said it works for them.

I just don't believe that they are one of the better teams.
