I think that would be cool Flex and Tallman. Has anyone ever done it or suggested it before. MAybe we could even get some past and current footballers on.

His two-year deal is rumoured to be worth $1.1million AUD (approx $800,000 US) a season.

For real someone needs to tell Jack that that can't work again. I couldn't even watch the line up of the Bharani game in the stadium, it real hurt  So this time I taking vacation and camping out at the stadium. If I can't go to Germany at least I could see the game against Brazil. But I still saving though. Nobody thinks about the female supporters. But thats all right I not sticking this time around.

Yorke to the PFL sounds impossible..mostly due to money factor. Things such as TV rights and corporate sponsors do not appear to be feasible. Paying Yorke will be a big issue and even if that is possible somehow then the next question is how profitabale the league will be?

It appears difficult to have a successful league based on 1 player, a player who will probably be around 37. Having a bunch of over de hill players may be more feasible (i.e. MLS)...and even the MLS is struggling.

I don't think money would be an issue.

Let's assume money is not a problem...we find somebody to pay Yorke's salary..what that person/company getting in return?

Okay I am trying to think this thing through. Somebody tell me how much Yorke is making right now in Australia?

BEcause if noone in Trinidad is willing to match or better that amount I do not think Yorke will be returning to his home land to play. Maybe I am just being negative but is there anybody willing to put out that amount of money??

Look, I see where this post is heading but all I am saying is the reality of it is that Yorke, while he is still able to play international football thus earning international $$$$ will probably not come back to Trinidad and Tobago to play in the PFL. He might probably come back but that will be when he has exhausted all his resources and has no where else to play. BEsides he went all the way DOWN UNDER first.

Yorke playing PFL  Maybe in 5 - 10 years.

But face it the world cup is not Bharain. HE could only gain by losing a few pounds.

Some people are missing the point here. Most of these almost all of these players passed through our secondary school system and the last time I checked they taught English. Not Trinidad dialect.

So the problem started from there. What they failed to learn is showing up now. Yes they are talented but as was rightfully stated they are ambassadors. So it is not as if they are choosing to use the green verbs and say words like ONLIEST it is just that they do not know better.

It is not a choice. Some people here could choose to speak well or choose not too. Some People have no choice that is all they know.

It is up to us to show the future Whitleys and Lawrences that you could be talented with a ball and talented with a book too.

Do not try to make this debate about the type of Language you speak, beit trini or the Queen's English, it is about the fact that they went through five years of Secondary school English and still using words - IN AN INTERVIEW -  LIKE ONLIEST

If it were acceptable why did Dwight Improve his English note I said improve his English and  not himself. If you believe that doing one is doing then next, well that is a different debate altogether. In the meantime I am all for the classes.

I never read a post that get me so angry yet. Savannah boy yuh never really answer the man question. Yuh ever saw him play?

If the answer is no then you cannot deny the skill that he may or may not have. If men think that he is the next best thing since Latas then they have the right to think so. Latapy is no spring chicken and if we could groom someone to take over that role then I am all 4 it to be Jemmont.

Again I have to remind, not all of you, but just this Boy from De Savannah, you have no idea what this man's childhood was like. You have NO idea of how he grew up none. You haven't even seen him play. What happens to a boy in his childhood shapes the type of man he will be.

I do not know u but if you had any idea about what hardships do to children you would not be the first one to deny someone who is talented the praise that he deserves.

You see that is what is wrong with the country. We find it so easy to give up on people that we do not show the ones that need it the most that there are people that believe in them, that know that they are the best. So before u try to save someone, one of our talented brothers, before you try to give him the opportunity of a life time, a life changing opportunity you bring him down. Before you try to build him up you bring him down.

Something really needs to be done to control that ticket distribution issue, yuh know as a girl, to stand up in that crowd to be pushed and pulled  just to try to buy some tickets at skinner park was not easy. Mr. Warner and dem didn't think about d females... either that or he expected us to get a man to push through for us or we could have simply paid more to get it from a scalper or just watch it on TV.
Maybe we should present ticket stubs from games gone by to join dat club, yuh know...to prove that we are true to the football and not Johnny's come lately. Anybody does keep dey ticket stubs? hmmm. Anyway, when ah think of something better I'll let you know.

4 real I do not think they understand how hard it is to stand in that line and fellas doh really care if your are a man woman or child. Wait some kind of them care; when they see a girl in the line they think of it as a good, opportunity to jump on your back and skip over you. Jack really didn't cater for the die hard female supporters.

Note to Mr. Warner not all women go to football to pick up guys or to look good some of us go 4 the football the other things just come naturally.    So don't forget us the next time.

Question, this uniform is sweet but yuh think it will look better with red socks ?

We need to look dazzling and bring some life to Germany..... Adidas is good stuff, but they boaring....

Trinidad & Tobago should be in small writing on the front under the numbers...

I agree I really like this one. I do not know how much black the uniform for the home game had in it but u can actually see the black in this one I really like it.

Congrats to Bahrain, they played the perfect away team game. It's obvious that their mindset is on result-oriented football, and they don't care about playing well. They picked their spots well and nearly punished us at times. They faked injuries, rolled around on the ground like a bunch of whores, wasted time of restarts, and were overall poor sportsmen but good gamesmen. They did their business at on the road, and I give them credit........... now it's our turn to do ours....

Go Warriors !!!!

For real. I am not going to be a sore losser congrats. But enjoy it while it lasts. You guys never played football out there and fortunately for you neither did the warriors but Wednesday God willing will be a different story.

So..... because you think you are playing in your own country and all you see is red you doh have to work. Because you think everyone and the interantional media saya its a sure win you doh have to work.

Well just when I started to write this Birchall scored but doh think because you have one goal you doh have to work.

Because you scored 2 goals against Mexico you doh have to work.

A game is 90 mins long; you are at home. GIVE NO ONE RESPECT. They don't deserve it . You deserve it you beat Mexico to reach here they beat Uzbekhistan. You want it. Let no Bharanian take away what u deserve.

If God is a Trini, Triniman still need to show God that we want it.

Give no man the respect of feeling them out on your home ground. Mexico didn't deserve it USA never deserved it. NO BHARAINIAN DESERVES IT.

The in terantional media rated u up if you had lost this game it would have been the same media to crucify u and bury u into the bharanian dirt. No man no Bhrainian supposed to bring you down on your own soil.

Note: this post is not about me saying that the team played badly but just about me sayin that they played without heart they played as if the Bharanian paid admission to see them play.  and that they had already made the World Cup. WE HAVEN"T MADE IT UNTIL WE MASH UP THIS TEAM. And now we need to do it on their turf.

Why must we always wait to be scored on inorder to wake up. I didn't see Trinidad football out there, I didn't see Caribbean football. It was a good exhibition of Bharanian football and fellas they can't even control the ball or pass.  And they gave us this exhibition on our turf in our National Stadium that was full to capacity and I still hear arabian bag pipes over my steel band. So think about waht they could do at home.

The entire team played well but WELL ain't good enough. A draw ain't good enough. You have to want it and play as if you want it. Unfortunately now you have to do so in Bharain but I believe you guys can do it. Every one on this site believes you can do it. 1.2 plus ppl believe you can do it. But now you all have to believe that you can do it.

So you guys lost the battle but do u have the heart, drive, desire, belief in yourself and PASSION to win the War.  Do you want to be in the World Cup or watch that man from Bharain who pinned you down run onto that pitch.
