well if i said dollars which i dont think i said then i was wrong but anyways they spend more than ten million pounds to be exact ok so yuh wrong anyway, blesss

Listen you obviously want to make a clown of yourself by resurrecting a dead thread to argue wrong facts.

You quoted Park Ji-Sung's fee as "7 million". You have to be talking dollars since he only cost 4 million pounds. In fact on the United site they have it quoted at $7.4 Million.

Now if Park cost 4 Million pounds and Van Der Sar cost 2 Million pounds (The fee was undisclosed but they got him at a bargain price) then who are the players that they purchased to take the spending over 10 Million pounds?

Do you really believe that they spent 4 Million pounds plus on a youth team player?

me aint looking for no argument but all i trying to say is that is not only chelea that does spend big money and you bring up manu when obviously it have other clubs that dont spend alot of money too but saying that chelsea is bad for spending is what i am against cus they are not the only team that buy big players if them other teams had a owner like chelsea and the money them woulda buy just as much players, essien was on trial at manu too but he choose chelsea so how much yuh think manu woulda pay for him not big money to just like chelsea manu is no club to go anymore for players, they not as hyped about going there anymore so fire fi manu and who like them after how them treat yorkie then  :flamethrower: :flamethrower: :flamethrower: fi you too talk done(dont even bother to reply lets just see you goes further chelsea or your manu(cus you bring them up) and that speaks for itself) blessss stay cool.

well said pt champ well said was he name jdb tell me inna next post that manu only spend 10 million this summer when they buy park for 7mill van der sar for 4mill(already more than 10 by the way ) and they buy ben foster from stoke for 1,5mill and they renew nuff contract for nuff money so doh study he is not like ah ponging him eh but when man doh know what they talking we have to inform them zeeen.

You obviously don't know that there is a difference between Pounds, the currency of Great Britain and the money that United trades in, and (US) Dollars an increasingly weak currency that you are quoting.

At no point did I say that United spent less than 10 Million Dollars.

well if i said dollars which i dont think i said then i was wrong but anyways they spend more than ten million pounds to be exact ok so yuh wrong anyway, blesss

Chelsea owner seeks 'fun and trophies'

By Jeff Randall
BBC Business Editor

Roman Abramovich
Roman Abramovich: "It's not about making money"
Sitting in one of Chelsea's luxurious millennium suites, Roman Abramovich has the perfect view of the club that he has just bought for £140m.

He appears to like what he sees and chats confidently about his plans.

In an exclusive interview with the BBC, the Russian oil tycoon explains to me why he's pumping a fortune into the west London side and what he's hoping for in return.

We communicate through an interpreter, Eugene Tenenbaum, who is also one of Abramovich's associates. His English is flawless; I hope his Russian is too.

"Money?" I ask Abramovich. "Is this deal about making a profit?"

He laughs. "No, it's not about making money. I have many much less risky ways of making money than this. I don't want to throw my money away, but it's really about having fun and that means success and trophies."

small you like manu ent but why nobody aint saying nothing about manu big money american owners wtf manu spending big money too so doh make it sound like is only chelsea that does buy in the whole of club football at least the  owner know bout football that why he know who good himself and willing to buy them with your owner they boss man glazer, might buy michael vick and warren saap for manu just now cus he aint know the difference in the football  :flamethrower:

You obviously don't know what you are talking about.

United's owners have spent less than 10 Million this summer, the lowest expenditure by United for a long time. Also their aim is not to bankroll the club but to keep it profitable and make money.

United is very different to Chelsea because although they were the big money club for a long time their money is generated by football activities and they used success to buy more success.

With Chelsea it is the reverse. A big money man buys the club to put money into it in the hope that eventually it will be self-sufficient. As a club Chelsea is not making a profit and will not make a profit for several years.

they pay 7 for park 4 for van der sar and 1.5 for ben foster and that it less than 10 million you miss the maths class and them or wah and they pay nuff to renew shitty ferdinand contract alone as i plainly said yes chelsea does spend but doh talk like manu doh spend too and they only buy park not cus he good to make money in football crazy asia chelsea about buying good players you think people in ghana can afford a essien shirt

73
but is not to say those defenders not good

chelsea had the best depth in the world

but money cant save you

Football / jlloyd samuel i think he should play
« on: October 23, 2005, 12:19:21 PM »
Name:    Jlloyd Samuel
Nationality:    Trinidad & Tobago
Date of Birth:    29/03/1981
Height:   5' 11" (180cm)
Weight:   11st 4lbs (71.73kg)
Previous
Clubs:   Gillingham
Position:    Defender

Having played every single minute of the previous season, Jlloyd Samuel looked as if he might repeat his ever-present record when he started the first 20 games and missed only the final half hour of the Carling Cup defeat by Burnley after suffering a shoulder injury at Turf Moor.

He continued to play through the pain, too, although his hopes of being involved in every game were dashed when a groin injury ruled him out of the festive games against Chelsea and Manchester United.

Samuel also missed the match at Fulham in February but he still finished the campaign as one of Villa's highest appearance-makers.

Once again, he was at his best when making incisive runs down the left - even if he wasn't able to add to his modest goal haul!

Samuel's push into the limelight came in the 2001-02 season. He came on for Delaney on the right against West Ham on 5th December 2001, after the Welshman suffered damaged medial knee ligaments.

He held that position for the next seven games during Delaney's absence and performed so well that he was then switched to his more natural left-back berth.

He continued to impress in 2002-03 and, along with Rob Edwards, performed well on the right as Delaney suffered the 'worst season' of his career through injury.

Jlloyd joined Villa on a YTS in July 1997 and turned professional 25th January 1999.

REALLY GOOD RESUME I THINK HE WILL FIT IN PERFECTLY GET THEM BAHRAIN BOY FRIGHTEN

when you going and play against a country you must be able to go there a while before the match so trinidad going to panama to play panama is nothing to talk about o.k what they go get vex for we coming there to play panama but jamaica not playing against bahrain for anything jamaica have nothing football wise to get from this camp because no jamaica player going and get a contract to play in the middle east they just using jamaica they woulda have any interest in jamica if they were not scared about we
