this thing going on for years in Itlay and Spain.

allyuh see the Real Sport with Brian Gumbel on HBO a couple months back when he highlight the racism issue  in football and was talking to Thiery Henry. he end the segment with a white man from UEFA i believe. the man give the usual spin about their approach to racism and then Gumbel hit him with a questions, he ask him if they could really get a handle on the racism issue when all the directors are old white men and the ruling body doh even have diversity representation on the board. the man get stupid wit that one.

So wuh allyuh tink cause Latin America & the Caribbean to be so?  Yuh tink "whitey" go give black man ah break jus so?  Nah happen sah.  Dem people from the Iberian Peninsula were always racist pigs...Shadow was right, Columbus lie! This way we could promote a TnT invention, It could be a shawdow graph or a background logo But we need to put something Trini on there.

I fed up correcting people that Steel Drums was not invented in Jamaica.
Now is the time to educate the world.

We uniform should be design by Minshall and let Addidas just put they logo on it.

It must represent TnT.
Otherwise is just another red jersey!

Yuh know breds dat is the same damn ting I am hearing over and over as well...dat dem Jacans and dem invented steelpan. Everybody using up we pan, 50 Cent, Kenny Chesney, Disney, and we still eh getting the fame for it.  I settled the score once and for all.  My dissertation on steelpan: "Commodifaication and Distribution of the Steelpan as a Conflicted Tourism Resource," is available from the Hale Library, Kansas State University, Manhattan, KS 66502.  If Sat maharaj and dem doh like it well too bad...steelpan is we ting and we have to run the ting anywhere we go, so put it the jursey big, bold and bad! ???

Our present government is BULLSHIT !!!!!!!!! not just horse-shit, but bull-shit too... right now Manning more concerned about winning de next election than he is trying to help the youths, sports and crime in T&T.... and also hiring some dam outside investigators to investigate de crooked police we have in T&T....

T&T is a nice place, but we have no laws, or de law to corrupted. I cant wait for Manning wife to get kidnapp, then he might actually do something about kidnapping in T&T, or he just maynot, I eh think he even like he wife to.... farless for T&T football....

I hope we qualify for Germany 2006 and Jack have de nerve to cuss Manning if he ever try to come forward with money then. Roger Boynes is another pussy.

Yuh so right breds! I eh have nutten against the prime minister buh some time ago he tell some people tuh TV instead ah having sex.  Maybe dat is all he could do with the kinda wife he have.  Sex is ah good ting and ah thank God dat he make people tuh have intercourse...Maninng mus be sleeping on the couch. :rotfl:  T&T have enough money tuh gih the SOCAWARRIORS at least $US10 million tuh help dem out. I eh tink Manning mus be know the seriousness of this little country making it tuh the World Cup. >:(

Football / Re: T&T Goverment to pay Beenhakker..he gets the works
« on: November 28, 2005, 03:36:38 PM »
The decision to pay Beenhakker by the government is the 'right' one; the matter of an 'open budget' is not in my opinion one which is fiscially responsible. At the end of the day, there are events and matters which the government has to consider in governing the public interest. What price does one  put on a coach of this magnitute? what is fair market value? There has to be some comparable measure to ensure that payment is equitable and fair with others. At the same time, let's not empty the coffers and throw blindly.

On the other had, if the nation could 'clean up its act' and if crime and  other soical ails could be reduced, the Warriors' appearance at  the World Cup will be the biggest advertising and promotion for our country. The economic spin offs and the legacy of the nation could be profitable for all in time to come. There could be substantial gains in tourism,  alcohol beverages, and local industries.

This would be a prime opportunity for cooporate TNT and the government to join forces and throw some financial support behind the team.

"Clean up act?" Wuh yuh talking bout breds...nah see dat in T&T in a hurry...we too close tuh Venezuela and Venezuela too close tuh Colombia and Colombia too close tuh Peru...yuh geh the picture.  Anywhere cocaine passing through it is ah difficult ting tuh clean up.

Gih mih one good reason why two big boys in the PNM still taking bribe.

Now, gih mih one good reason why Manning touring Israel right now.  Yuh tink it have any ting about "fiscal responsibility" about dat?  He eh gih nobody any reason why he gone over dey...maybe tuh look for more trouble.  Frankie Khan and Eric Williams are probably not enough >:(

« on: November 28, 2005, 03:28:28 PM »
I have tried all how to justify Warner estimate of $15,000.000.00US to prepare the warriors for the WC, Is he for real? Did he put pen to paper, or does is he guessing?.

Even after reading Beenie's plans for the coming months, it just doesn't add up. Is Jack up to his old tricks again.

I too want the warriors to succeed and to have quality preps  prior to the finals, but $15 mil US. It would be nice if he would break down the expenses for us.

Share your thoughts.

Ah doh know how some Trinis does think nah...chinky, chinky, chinky.

mite be ah lil more than dat if yuh ask me...accomodations, Euro camp, trini camp, wages, practice games, facility rentals.....and de list goes on....dem ting doe come cheap....iz de world cup and not de shell cup we preparin for.... :beermug: :beermug: :beermug:

Bahrainis fail to silence panmen.
By: Zaid Mohammed (Newsday).
[/size]

Bahrain officials did their utmost to frustrate the strong Trinidad and Tobago support for the crucial World Cup football play-off last Wednesday.
At one time there was the great possibility that the sound of steelpan would be eerily silent at the match between Trinidad and Tobago and Bahrain at the National Stadium in Riffa.
It is understood that Jack Warner, a FIFA vice-president had been told that the panmen of the Angostura Woodbrook Playboyz would not be allowed in to the stadium for the match.
The panmen and the Laventille Rhythm Section, a drum side, arrived with the team hoping to spur on the Warriors with sounds of home in the match which decided which team qualifies for the World Cup finals in Germany next year.
Trinidad and Tobago defeated Bahrain 1-0 for a winning 2-1 aggregate.
The Woodbrook Playboyz were blocked once before, while practising at the Best Western Elite Hotel where they were staying, the music apparently upset persons in the nearby residential suites.
They were forced to go to the nearby beach to continue their practice where an impromptu jump-up attracted several Bahrainis who joined in the fun.
The Woodbrook Playboyz have been accompanying the national football team for some time, under the invitation of Jack Warner, both at overseas matches and at home.
They are now regarded as part of the Warriors outfit.
Trinidad and Tobago football officials also voiced their displeasure at the lack of co-operation they received from their Bahraini counterparts leading up to the match. Although they would not go on record for fear of disturbing the friendly relations between the nations, the TT officials have been fuming silently as they came up against dead-ends during their stay in the Middle East. One official speaking on condition of anonymity said the Bahrainis did all they could to frustrate the Trinidad and Tobago football team management and the media team the match. One of the first to feel the pressure was national team coach Leo Beenhakker who was said to be very upset when he took his players for their first training session after arriving in Manama last Monday evening.
Apart from planning the session on a training field adjacent to the national stadium, the Warriors were only given five balls for the session, which were much less than Beenhakker required.
However, he made do with what he had, although when Bahrain were in Trinidad and Tobago they were given about a dozen balls and were afforded unrestricted use of the Hasely Crawford Stadium at Mucurapo which was the match venue.
The organiser of the special airplane charter from Port-of-Spain to Bahrain, Tony Harford of Allsport Promotion was also given a runaround when he sought to get press passes for the dozen or so media personnel travelling with the team.
After submitting the names of the media personnel and camera men to the Bahraini Football Association, he made at least two fruitless trips to their office to collect them.
And although the Bahrainis had the documents in their possession they denied this on two occasions when asked about them by other members of the Trinidad and Tobago media. The cameramen from CNC Channel 3, NCC Channel 4, TV 6 and Gayelle The Channel were also slighted when they sought to set up their equipment at vantage points around the ground.
"We were promised certain areas to set up our cameras but suddenly we were told that we would have to put up shop elsewhere. They broke their agreement," one irate television man said.
At least one television journalist said he was given more space than he needed for his live colour broadcast from the stadium back to Trinidad and Tobago.
"I was told by this guy how hard he was working to accommodate me but I told him I had more space than I needed which was one big room where at least three crews could easily fit in," said Ruskin Mark of NCC Channel 4 TV.
"I suggested that other people from the visiting media pack could share the space but I don’t know what the decision will be," he said.
There was also some dispute as to the fee the Bahrainis would charge the TV and radio crews to film and broadcast the match respectively.
It was reported that when the Bahrainis were in Trinidad two weekends ago for the first leg match they were given unhindered access and charged a nominal fee.
But the Trinidad and Tobago broadcasters were kept waiting with bated breath for an official announcement on what they would have to pay.

Yuh could lun from dem Bah Bah an dem wuh is rel "pull stones."  Dey know dat better than we >:(

But ah had to shit...

Leaving the bathroom, ah drunk indian spill rum on meh new Adidas shirt ah did bring down for the match.  All I tell de man was "Oye, watch where yuh walking na", de man went off and tell meh we PNM cause he to loose he wok.... :rotfl:   So I turn and tell him I is ah Democrat, ah get cuss.

However, though I do not think T.C. is apt....as yet. Right now, maybe he should get the Chaconia Gold...it is still the second highest honor. If jack gets the T.C. (and I won't be mad) what about men like Latas and Yorke? T.C. for them too? They can lay as much claim to it cuz they have been through the shit. The winners I have mentioned before have done something to put Trinidad at world best status at some point or the other. Has what Jack has done akin to a Miss Universe? (seeing him in a dress would not be pretty), a test record?, National Independence and drafting of a constitution and helping to spread knowledge of a national instrument? Nah, no T.C. yet for Jack. While he has done a lot, plenty others have done a lot too...

very respectable post .. but, Dwight and Latas did "retire" from the team over personal conflicts in the past. forgiven? ... yes!! Their yoeman service to the TT football team before their transgressions cannot be forgotten.
Jack's support of this team has been unwavering.

Football, unlike any of the other sports is not an individual sport, therefore accolades are shared.
However, every team/ organisation requires a leader.
Jack was the first man to lead TT to world recognition on an International Footballing stage. He has helped spread the knowledge of Trinidad and Tobago's Football.
TTs football usually plays third fiddle ... it goes "Former Manchester United striker Dwight Yorke who plays for Trindad & Tobago" ..... from now on it will read, "Trinidad & Tobago Dwight Yorke, who once starred for Manchester United"

What Jack has done for Footballing in TT .... we will never ever see another man do!

All ah dem people who against Jack Warner getting the Trinity Cross should do ah lil introspection.  Jack was a God send to T&T.  The day Jack born he was put on a mission for T&T.  Do you know what ah "mission" is?  If not. ask the Spiritual Baptist people.  The mission is about complete...God does put people in certain places for a certain reason.  I couldn't understand why Jack leave teaching for...my mind was too small.  Jack is a man ah business, shrewd yes...buh he eh tief nutten from nobody.  T&T has made it to the World Cup and yuh think is Selwyn Cudjoe, or William Demas, or Selwyn Ryan, or Bhoe Teewarie, or Winston Dookeran, or Martin Daly, or anybody else coulda do dat on behalf of T&T?  Tell mih sah...who the hell was dey when T&T needed direction and guidance about dis whole football scenario?  It was Jack breds...ah man who does look at possibilities.  Give the man the highest honor dat T&T have to offer.  Allyuh know the rel scene about T&T ranking in the top 32 states in the kingdom of football?  Lie dong in yuh bed and tink about dat for ah whole day and see wuh yuh come up with. :applause:

And mexico know that they send a b side. Them eh studying we either. In fact them just glad nobody foot eh get break again.

I will say thiis though, if we put in place a proper program to train both players and coaches, then we can become a CONCACAF powerhouse. We know we have the talent and hopefully men will take national duty seriosly now that a shot at the world cup is a legitimate goal.

Tell mih sah...what stopping T&T from becoming the CONCACAF Powerhouse? We have all the talent in the world...feed my lambs, feed my sheep. It's dat simple. Politicians mus stop dey blabbering and put dey money wey dey mouth is...in the youth of the nation. if we set up ah good training program at every level then we will have replacement stock. The elementary schools in T&T need their very own football coompetition jus as intercol, etc.
