Well it seems that we are now in Group A in the Nations League and officially qualified for the Gold Cup

Nicaragua thrown out of CONCACAF Gold Cup for ineligible player

Nicaragua was thrown out of the CONCACAF Gold Cup on Monday for using an ineligible player in eight matches and was replaced in the tournament by Trinidad and Tobago.

The Confederation of North and Central American and Caribbean Football said the decision was made by its disciplinary committee. It did not identify the ineligible player and said some of the matches included Nations League play.

Trinidad and Tobago will open on June 24 at Fort Lauderdale, Florida, against the winner from qualifying among Curaçao, St. Kitts and Nevis, Guyana and Sint Maarten. The Soca Warriors will play Jamaica four days later at St. Louis and will end Group A against the United States on July 2 at Charlotte, North Carolina.

Antigua and Barbuda will replace Trinidad in qualifying and will play Guadeloupe on Friday at Fort Lauderdale with the winner facing Grenada or French Guiana on Sunday for a berth in Group D of the tournament with Canada, Cuba and Guatemala.

Nicaragua was relegated to Group B of the next CONCACAF Nations League and replaced in Group A by Trinidad.

And, man our keeper.  World class, the engine in setting up the what should have been second goal.  Great saves and aggressive when needed.  He's gonna be here for a while.

Hyland continuously losing the ball in the midfield and or deep in our half.  Not sure why he is trying to constantly dribble the ball and be unsuccessful with it, instead of making positive passes.

I've never seen us run a 4-3-3.  Seems like it's always 4-5-1 or 5-4-1, or that what it feels like.  More often than not it feels like 4-6 since we have no offense at all (and no midfield).  It's all down to coaching.  No matter how anyone spins this, it's all down to coaching.

After the handball penalty, I turned off the game.  I don't understand men at this level of profession making mistakes like that.  I was watching the U17 world cup the other day, and even those young fellas, tuck their hands behind their backs on crosses like those.

Does DL even teach these guys how to pass, or even counter attack?  We can't even get short passes together.

And may we add ball control as well?  Seems like no one on the team can complete this task, the ball is bouncing all over the place or rebounding back to the Ecuadorian.

This team have no direction...no unit play ....halfassed pressing and when we actually press and win d ball is back to pedestrian passing and movement.... steups

The half ass press is truly mind boggling.  Just like you said, when we win the ball, which is like .1 percent of the time, we have none or make any passing lanes, due to our lack of a midfield, so we pass it all the way back and lose the ball.  Same formula, same madness, same results.

This game is like a shooting range for Ecuador.  We can't get pass the midfield (can't remember the last time we had one), and we letting get a million passes on top of the box, while we have more than half the team sitting in the box standing around marking grass  :banginghead:

Cyrus again....every frigging time.  Bullied off the ball, horrible positioning, not sure why he is still on the team.

How is Guerra and Jones not starting? Why do we have Paul and Cyrus not on the bench? Carr also shouldve never started this game. We have Molino as a striker when it should be Telfer with Jones behind him. Thats a lot of speed on the left side alone. Telfer with Guerra at the top, with Molino and Hyland mid. Wasting talent on the bench and starting scrubs.

And oh yes, they can't pass to save their lives.  Either the passes are too hard (which is most of the time) or too soft.  And still no midfield.

Defense doesn't know how to pass the ball out.  Everytime is a blast up field to give it back to Honduras so they can continue to apply the pressure.  And of course Cyrus is the culprit again.  He's on a hattrick now, three goals due to him.

Good to see Judah Garcia. I noticed a bit of energy, skill and hustle from him when he came on.

No service from midfield

When was the last time we had a midfield? It's always drop back, can't even counter attack, but blast the ball and hope the striker can get it and make a run. How far our football has dropped. Not even in top 100 fifa ranking and the rigged World Cup qualifying mess.

They dropping all the way back in the box, Cyrus is trash, marking air and giving Mexico loads of space, left side ALWAYS open, can't string 3 passes in a row...omg

Telfer is easily our best player by far since he played last game.  He had to score.  So glad to have this guy on our team.

It seemed like no one wanted the ball. Our movement off the ball was atrocious, and the passing was despicable.  Open passes being missed all game; players hiding behind Panama players and not being open; continuous back passing; no midfield; Joevin not starting.  It all boils down to coaching.  Firing Hart was the biggest mistake Trinidad football ever made (that led to Jones retirement).

4-1 final score.  No holding midfielder, and no organization in midfield.  Too many bad passes, and no one feeding Wilson up front, even with a 4-5-1 formation.  Also defense kept blasting the ball out, instead of trying to pass, which gave Honduras tons of possession, with constant attack.

Wish John had gotten the team a bit earlier so he would've been able to work with them more.  The two standouts are Wilson and Sheppard, especially Wilson. With the right coaching, that guy will be going places.

Go here https://www.facebook.com/concacafcom/ or facebook search Concacaf  and you will find it.  Look under the videos tab and go from there.  You can set up notifications when they post live games, or just facebook search the two sides that you want to see play and the live video feed will pop up.

Maybe it's location based.

Actually, I think I did this on the Con page and you have to pay 1.99.

Did as you said, the only option was to sign up which takes you to the Con page where u have to pay. If you guys didn't pay, guess I am screwing up somehow.

see......we don't teach defense.....all I see dey was naivete, "cluelessness" and fear :frustrated:.......four goals from crosses and no one even thinking about attacking d ball on the cross or closing down d crosser......would love for Angus Eve to get ah another go with a youth team......his SFL record should put he on any "fair" TTFA shortlist

I've been following the team for the past two games, and this squad is basically the bench, with about three or four regular starters.  Stern was simply giving his starters a rest, while seeing who on the bench can come and make an impact.  The defense for the past two games have been stellar with a few hiccups.  The regular starting team is very strong, especially our front lines with Wilson, Nixon and Sheppard.
