« on: October 03, 2009, 11:24:27 AM »
ppl talking about Man U passing, but I think it is more of Sunderland closing down the passes of Man U and pressuring them into making bad passes.  Bent on fire like Yorke in 1998.  Moreover, Sunderland is winning the battle in the midfield...Malbranque, Reid and Catternole are playing lights out.  Now for Richardson to step up, rather than fouling like a fool....great game by Sunderland.

Im going to say my fav player was Thompson and Da Silva needs to be benched.  I don't think Adams performed as bad as Da Silva. He defended okay, but when he had possession, he was out-hussled, out-run, out-etc....Clarence needs to start with Gay on top definitely.  Hyland behind them, and Thompson holding down the central mid.  I don't know if anyone observed this, but Samuel looked like Ince on the field especially in the shouting part for every shot he got on goal by the Pharaohs :P

Football / Re: Where would you like to see Yorke play.
« on: August 21, 2009, 10:01:10 AM »
I said this in an earlier thread, but it would be GREAT for Yorke to come and play for our PFL.  It would greatly improve support and international exposure seeing that slowly but surely more international players are in our league.  Look at what he did to the Australian League  ;)

Football / Re: Dennis Lawrence heads to Jabloteh
« on: August 20, 2009, 04:15:03 PM »
I think players like Lawrence need to come back to our league to help build it.  When we have our teams beating up on MLS teams to qualify for the champions league, it says a lot about the talent we have growing.  I also think Yorke should come play also.  The PFL would grow tremendously with players like him in the league, and of course the support will also increase and with right marketing, our league can continue to attract more international support and players. ;)

need some drastic help in the midfield.  Defense needs to work together more and they can get it going.  Never had much problems with the forwards, they just need to make more out of their chances.  Last but not least, ince is the MAN OF THE MATCH!!!  Thank God Trinidad has ALWAYS been blessed with good goalkeepers

midfield gone after the subs...we need a POSSESSION/DISTRIBUTION midfielder (if you get my drift).  Too much ah one touch which causing us to lose the ball.  We needed to CONTROL the game since we playing on we OWN ground, and leading so early.  Lots of work to do, but good game btw....can't be mad over a frigging win!!!!

I would like to see Glen and Jones up front

Midfield go be Tinto, Birchy, Hyland, Samuel

Back four Edwards, Avery, Dog/Lawrence, Abu Bakr (played well the last game, speed, good hustle, would love to see him back as CB)

and of course goalie is Ince.

wow nice....with the growing global population, many stadiums have to expand their capacity, and definitely Camp Nou will be packed as usual.  They should also make it multi-purposed so many other events can be held their also.

Sorry to hear that, but i won't jump to racist cuz that is how the Central and South Americans cheer their football.  You would've had the same experience with Costa Ricans, Hondurans, El Salvadorians etc.  They're just very passionate about their football and go overboard with it (not an excuse for their horrendous behavior btw).  I don't want neither America or Mexico to win especially since we not even in it  :P >:(
